View 3 Replies View Relatedwhen I pulled my 9900 out of my pocket, I saw that the letter P had fallen off of my keyboard and into my pocket. No idea how that happened, especially since my phone is in top shape. I called T-Mobile to see if my phone was under warranty (I bought it the first day it was available in California, which was on August 31st, 2011) and if there was anything that could be done. They directed me to call RIM about the issue. I called RIM this morning and was told by the representative that the warranty is at T-Mobile's discretion and that I'd basically have to hash this issue out with them. So I just got off of the phone with T-Mobile, again, and was told that the button falling off wasn't a "known issue with this device," therefore the warranty was void and my only option was to buy a new phone. This is terrible, a $600 phone and within less than a year my button falls off. The sad thing about it is, I also own the 9700 Curve and I had this same issue happen, except it took more than a year before the letter P fell off of that one.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIs it my imagination, or was I able to scroll between Days when in Day view? I am sure I used to be able to do this without having to first go to the top row. I seem to remember that if I was looking at a 10am appointment on any day I could scroll sideways to check out the same time frame on subsequent or previouse days. With .593 I seem to have to scroll up to the top row showing days to be able to move days and then back down to the relevant time slot.Either I am imagining it or this facility is not in recent OS builds?

View 8 Replies View Relatedso i got tired of staring at my co-workers Iphones and decided to try out the Droid Incredible. i ordered it today and FedEx tracking says it will be here tomorrow. im going to play around with it for the 30 days and hopefully by the end of it i will have made a decision between it and the 9650. (also hopefully i will have a choice to trade it in for a 9650)i love my curve and will probably come back to a berry at some point but for the next 30 days i will have a droid. anyone else taking this path? anything i should test on it? what features do you think i will be missing on this phone that i should look for?

I have it set to save to my device, but have also tried media card and it does the same. I also have my SMS and MMS chat histories to save forever, and I went into the messages icon on the home screen where I read most of my BBMs and did the same; but I must be doing something wrong because my history is still disappearing!Can anybody help?

A few months ago, I purchased a BlackBerry Bold 9780 for personal use, with T-Mobile service. I'm on OS 6.0 Bundle 1879, using BlackBerry Desktop Software v. 6.1.0.35. I set up six email accounts on the BB device; each is a web-based, POP account hosted by GoDaddy, and each is also set up on my desktop computer Outlook (with messages for all six accounts set to be deleted from each host account upon download to Outlook). I am not using BlackBerry Enterprise Server or MS Exchange Server.For a couple of months, everything worked fine. Email received by any of the six accounts was received at about the same time on Outlook and my BB device. Synchronization of Calendar appointments for my BB-device default account worked fine in both directions. (I understand that BlackBerry Desktop Software is incapable of synching appointments from email accounts other than the account set as default on the BB device, which is a significant limitation but not the subject of this post.)Since BB's disastrous outage in October, I have experienced major problems with email received and appointments related to my BB-device default account (only):
1) Email for my BB-device default account that is received in Outlook takes at least two days to push through to my BB device, and is usually never received on the BB device. This problem does not effect the other five email accounts set up on my BB device; all six accounts are hosted by GoDaddy and are owned by me.
2) Calendar appointments do not synchronize in either direction between Outlook and my BB device.
3) Calendar appointments sent from my BB device are frequently not received by recipients.
is there any warranty on this because i am in need of the button and Im not sure if there is warranty or if i am going to have to buy a new phone and my phone is only 3 months old. i have the blackberry bold 9780

I can only get to those emails by selecting "View Folder", then "Inbox"...I can then see all my email. However, if I close the Messages then and reopen, it shows my email as of 3 days ago.

My cousin dropped the phone in front of me while make a phone call. The phone fell on a grass and doens't turn on. I've tried hard reset etc but still doesn't turn on. I then plugged it to the mains and the phone turned on. Its not detecting the battery, service provider, wifi and Bluetooth. Seems like some problem with communication system. When I take the main adaptor off, the phone switchs off. I need my phone bad as all the contacts, phone calls but scared it will take so long to get it replace or serviced.The phone doens't look like its water damaged, something else is wrong with it.

it fell in the toilet face down, was only in there for like 30 seconds. none of the stickers are damaged they're still white. when i took the phone out it didnt have much water init. i took the battery sim and memory card out over night and it still wont turn on. instead of a red light its turned blue and flashes. i tried charging it and plugging it into my laptop it wont charge either. the screen has got like white lines but if you touch or warm the screen they go. what do i do? its a brand new phone aswell im not on contract so i cant easily get it replaced.

My iphon4 fell from the height of about 20~30m and hit the back cover against concrete... The battery was bumped out and the back cover cracks... But the screen was actually intact!!!
I had someone familiar with iphone help me change the battery and back cover. It can normally work...!!!! What a miracle. The quality of iphone is really out of my expectation.

the panel of buttons on the front (with the answer key etc on) has fallen off?I took it back to my provider but they say they can't fix it under warranty as they said it's 'physical damage' It just fell off!! The sticky pad holding it onto the phone just isn't that sticky.Under the blackberry warranty terms it states "...that the BlackBerry Hardware will be free from defects in workmanship and materials" sureley this is covered as it's a defect in the materials?

Phone is still under warranty, but since I use it alot and according to my previous experience with nokia service in my country, it can take up to two or three weeks, if and how could I put the switch back myself?
