So, even before i buy the phone, one of the highlights everyone make is:
"You can double-chop to turn the flash on or off. But if you activate the flashlight this way and set the phone face-down, the flashlight will almost immediately turn itself off."
Sounds awesome, so i tried it, double-chop works fine, but the flashlight dont turn itsel off when i put the phone face-down, and i waited a long time hoping the sensors have a delay, i tested in many surfaces and all the same.
It doens't seems to have a setting about this as the phone do it automatically..
So, that's it, i will have to accept it will never work on my phone? I already factory reset the phone after the update to MM, and a few days later.
I bought my unlocked iPhone 4S in Maryland in January. I have been using the phone in India since the past couple of months and now my camera hardware doesn't work for no fault of my own (apparently it's due to humidity). Apple Support India will not repair a phone that's not bought in India, and I won't be returning to the US for another few months. What should I do?
P.S. Paid $650 instead of $200 so I could use this phone anywhere in the world but what they didn't tell me that I couldn't fix it anywhere in the world (were something to go wrong.)

I have a nokia 5610 and i have two question:
1) above the screen, there are two things, one of them is the camera , what is the other thing and what does it do?
2) behind the slider, ( the on that goes to music player and radio ) , there is a light that keeps flashing, there is no missed call or anything that would cause it to flash. It doesn't flash all the time, from time to time it starts to work. why does it flash?
3) is there anyway that i can make the flash of the camera to work as a flash light?
Does anybody know how to turn on just the flash to use as a flashlight?

I have an icon in my notifications bar which looks like a tiny front flashlight icon with a 1 next to it (in the same way I have the envelop to alert me of messages received or the missed call alert). When I click on the bar it says I have no new notifications but I can't get rid of the icon or the number 1 and I don't know what it refers to.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've downloaded a few apps from the store onto my Bold 9700 (Twitter, Facebook, Opera mini etc) and have no problems as long as I'm in WiFi range. Once outside this I can't use them without getting a message about them being a WiFi service and to check connection.
My browser preference is set to "Hotspot browser" but even when I change this to 3G I still get the same message. None of the applications seem to have browser setting preferences so I'm not sure how I can get round the problem.Does anyone know of a settings page somewhere that will fix this?
Just switched from a bold 9700 to bold 9900. Our mobile signal is extremely limited since we're out in the country so wifi is essential here.On my 9700, wifi worked perfectly with all applications but that doesn't appear to be the case with the bold 9900. Several apps are extremely slow or don't work at all. I think the reason for this is the 9900 isn't using wifi for some apps. I believe some apps are using wifi such as the browser and facebook but app world, google maps, scoremobile, whatsapp and tunein radio to name a few don't appear to be using wifi at all.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI discovered that when I click Media/Expore only the Device file folder displays. The Media file is gone. My camera had 400+ photos on it, and now it says only 16 pictures available, with 0 items in the Camera Pictures. Not only that, the flash is continually lit, and the device gets quite warm, and the battery runs low quickly. I had not recently done a back up, but when I did, it indicated that there were no photos to back up! There is no SD card installed, never had one. I have pulled the battery multiple times, even over night, and nothing is fixed. The camera was working the night before, and when I went to look at the pics the following morning, the flash light was on, and the file and all photos were gone!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI updated my Bold 9700 to OS 6.0 bundle 2475 . I'm using my phone connected to a wifi router that worked fine before update but now is unable to communicate.
The connection is ok (I can select my network in the list and the phone is connected) but the "Blackberry" icon doesn't appear on the main screen near the wifi icon and it's impossible to connect the phone to Internet or email.
Using 3G connection all work fine but I'm abroad and normally I use this wifi network on my apartment that works fine (I'm also using an iPhone that works great, it means that the network is ok).
Droid Turbo (Android Version 5.1) - WIFI works fine at home and seems to work other places. I have been using it for months at work. Recently I cannot connect. Other people can still connect. I had the connection saved...but even tried deleting it and researching, but it won't locate the server.
View 1 Replies View RelatedFor the last several weeks neither the WiFi nor the Bluetooth will turn on. When selecting to turn on WiFi is starts to turn on then stops and displays Error. About 75% of the time after attempting to turn on the WiFi the phone will reboot. I have factory reset the phone and the WiFi and Bluetooth will work once after the reset but once the phone sleeps neither WiFi nor Bluetooth will operate. This is even after a power down. I have recently updated the firmware on my Nokia C3-01 to the latest version V06.05. After a day or two of use the flashlight came on and I can't get it off (unless I remove the battery). I am not sure if it is related to the firmware update or some other issue. The phone seems to operate fine apart from this. I have reinstalled V06.05 but the light is still on.
