BB Bold 9000 :: Copying Contacts To Phone
Mar 16, 2010Previously I saved my 800++contacts to my sim card using a Sony ericsson phones. Currently I have a new bold 9000, I tried to copy my sim card contact to the address book on bold. It came out to be only 200+ contact were shown on my bold, the rest of the 600+ contact was not copy to it. Can anyone please help me out by how to completely transfer all my contacts from my sim to my bold.

Nov 19, 2011Is there a way to copy all my entries to the SIM card? I already know the SIM card has limited space, but I only have about 80 contacts that I want to save on it. I might be swapping phones for a bit to test out another device, and I want to have my phone numbers stored in the SIM card. After all, that's the beauty of using a GSM phone and a SIM card.
I have the BB Pearl 9100 and I'm able to copy the contacts using the 'Copy to SIM Phone Book" feature, but I can only do it one by one. Is there a way to copy ALL of them?

Apr 19, 2010I am having a really hard time copying my contacts from my Blackberry, on to my computer. I am using DM 5.0 with the sync feature, and I chose the address book destination to my Outlook express but upon syncing it defaults to the generic Windows Address book. But I get a fail message, that Address book is not available.
I tried it both on XP and Vista but it wont budge. No contacts get copied over.

Even worse, I have about 200 contacts that I need transfered to my new phone (Nokia actually).To do this, I want to copy my contacts to the SIM card. Aug 8, 2012I just got my new phone (Lumia 900) today and so far I love it! I transferred my music via Zune but when my old phone an N900 died I copied my contacts list onto my laptop. I have a folder of vCard files which I want to put on my new phone. I have connected via the USB cord but the phone doesn't appear on the list of drives etc. in windows explorer. For some reason it appears in devices and drivers, but I can't drag an drop into it. What I need is a similar thing to the sync option in Zune. Oct 21, 2012I got a replacement Bold 9900 when my previous one developed hardware issues. I transferred the SIM card to the new phone which is now operational. I also did a backup restore which retrieved my Contacts, WiFi and other data but not pictures and files. So, I tried to connect to my old device with a USB cable; this prompts me to sign-in which does not work I think because the SIM card is not there(?)

Apr 21, 2010Desktop mgr 5.0.1.37.When I connect (via USB) the connection appears to be recognised - clock appears on BB and PC beeps. After a few minutes PC & BB icons appear on BB screen but no interconnecting arrows. When I try to sync there is no device and PIN number showing on Device Mgr so it doesn't sync. Then the Desktop Mgr greys out and appears to freeze - I then have to disconnect the BB to unfreeze.
Device manager shows two RIM virtual serial ports v2 Com 3 & Com 4. If I try to update the drivers it says most up to date are loaded although the drivers are dated 24 Nov 2008 and are version 2.2.0.3 and appear to be called RimSerial_AMD64.sys (I'm using Intel i7 processor).
Devices & Printers screen shows a RIM Composite Device icon.
Windows in Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

Aug 13, 2010Just recently my macbookpro was stolen that I backup my iphone to. I didn't have a recent backup of data on this so I can't just plug in a harddrive and get everything back, but what I want to do is connect my iPhone to my replacement mbp and copy everything off it before it does a sync. I know that when it syncs for the first time it will erase everything so want to avoid losing all my photos, apps, music, contacts etc!I know Apple don't really tell you how to do this but I'm sure there is a way around it. Its very critical as I can't sync my phone until I sort this out otherwise I will lose everything.
