I am new to Blackberry. How do I copy a Word file from my Laptop to the Blackberry Bold 9700 microSD 2GB memory card? Do I use desktop manager? With my Windows mobile, I could access it using Mobile device center.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThe micro SD card in my 9700 keeps slipping, either after a light fall (in an otterbox, yay) or sometimes just out of the blue.Only noticeable result is that ringtones revert to the default. When I push the bugger back in, they work fine again.Will appreciate any advice other than returning the phone. I'd rather not send back the card either but will consider. Would rather just know how to make the card stick better if possible.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI regularly lose song files on the 32GB MicroSDHC card (Class 10) in my Atrix 2. They disappear without a trace, and without notice of any kind. I've been checking my music directory regularly with a file explorer app, and I've noticed that they tend to disappear whenever minor changes are made to the SD card (mounting/unmounting the card, connecting to my PC, adding new files to the card, revising existing files, etc.). I've tried using different SD cards, different PC connection methods (MotoHelper and USB Mass Storage), but nothing seems to work.
Is Android 2.3.5 not reading the card properly? I don't see the point of using an SD card with this phone if I can't guarantee that the files will stay accessible.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got a replacement Bold 9900 when my previous one developed hardware issues. I transferred the SIM card to the new phone which is now operational. I also did a backup restore which retrieved my Contacts, WiFi and other data but not pictures and files. So, I tried to connect to my old device with a USB cable; this prompts me to sign-in which does not work I think because the SIM card is not there(?)
Is it possible that I connect to my old phone as a USB device when it does not have a SIM card?

It first started when i tried getting on blakberry app world, but it said APN not specified, my blackberry messenger also dissapeared, i tried turning it on and off then took the battery out, but nothing worked and i lost bb app world all together, and is now nowhere to be found. I was able to fix it when it happened before, by going on reset icons, but hasnt worked this time.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought a 16gb MicroSD card for my 5230 Nuron. How do I transfer everything from the original 4gb card to the new card? I've downloaded some apps and themes and I want to make sure they get transferred to the new card. I tried doing a full backup and restore using Ovi Suite and some of the downloaded apps made it and some didn't. I tried to re-download some of them from Ovi Store but Ovi Store seemed to think they were still there and wouldn't let me download them again. Is it as simple as copying the contents of the old card to the new card?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a select number of .MOV files that were taken from my iphone originally but, why I try and transfer them back to my phone I get an error.
The process I do is: Import the Mov files in to ITunes Movies (Play OK) Go in to my Iphone 4, select Movies and pick the relevant Mov file. Click Sync
I then get the following error from ITunes "Movie" was not copied to the Iphone "Iphone" because it cannot be played on this iPhone.
I took this MOV on my Iphone originally and it plays OK through Itunes and other media players so am confused as to why this is not working on my iPhone.
I do not have the option in iTunes to "Convert to Ipod/iPhone" or anything like that....

When I try to move some files from my phone memory to my memory card, the phone gets stuck on moving files for AGES and then the files dont even get copied sometimes! When I tried to do this file by file, it did the same thing, and I waited for half an hour, before trying to exit, (the phone didnt respond) and I had to get the battery out to restart the phone! I tried a master reset, and now I've lost my themes and ringtones.

I downloaded some music to my micro SD card, put it in my phone and if I go to Settings --> Storage Device-->Memory Card-->Ringtones & Sounds--> and open the Music forlder where I saved the music to I can see it. However, when I go to Music Player, I get a message that says "MicroSD does not contain supported music files." What do I need to do in order to make them supported so that I can listen to the music?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an N85, which I love by the way, and the other day found a way to copy all my texts from the phone memory to my memory card. This was great as I could save my important messages and keep the phone memory free. I wanted to repeat this procedure, but can't find a way to do it.
The way I did it at first was go to Messaging/Options/Settings/Other/Memory in Use and select "memory card" rather than "Nokia". Upon exiting it asked it I wanted to copy my existing messages to the memory card, so which I replied yes.
Now it doesn't ask anymore, so my question is, does anyone know if this is a one shot deal, or is there a way these messages can be copied?
Ijust put a 16 gb micro sd card in my phone. I copied the photos from my phone and pasted them to a folder i created in the sd card. I was wondering if the pictures are still saved in the interal storage?
