I bought a BB Bold 9900 in Dubai (one week ago), and returned home to China where I use a China Unicom service (WCDMA) - SIM card previously in iPhone4. The phone works (phone calls, SMS, internet etc). But, when I attempt to perfrom the Blackberry IS Sign In (previously created on PC), I get message that username/password invalid. If I attempt to create a new Username/PW using the phone I get the following message: "Unable to connect to the Blackberry ID service. Please connect to the wireless network and try again"
P.S. why doesn't outdent work in this massage posting software - indent works?!
I have blackberry service on my account - I am able to access the internet but my cannot connect to blackberry internet service so I can use facebook add on, instant messenger and personal email.I have been through all settings with my service provider. Host route, manual re-setting phone, installing updated software - absolutely everything. They have even sent me two new phones, but still no joy.
Upon accessing the mobileemail.vodafone.net site, when i enter my IMEI and pin it states my account is de-activated or suspended - upon browsing the web this usually happens with phones bought from ebay/stolen phones. Note-This is a brand new handset, direct from Vodafone. My account is fine, Vodafone can see no problem and have now told me they are out of answers.
I am a new BB user and have recently purchased the BB 9700. I have NEVER been able to use the Facebook App. I had downloaded the v1.7 from App world and it never worked giving me the message: "Could not connect because a data service is not available. Please try again later. If this continues, contact your service provider for support"
I deleted it and tried downloading from the link sent from this website for v1.6 and received this message: "Notice Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Facebook." I must state that this is not the only problem I am having, it now seems that Bluetooth doesn't work either.
I am using the blackberry service using a GSM service provider, I would like to switch to a new GSM service provider. When I switch the SIM card the handset ask for blackberry ID and password, on entering the details it says invalid Blackberry ID. Can I just use another BB handset and use the new SIM to route all my emails and BB messenger to the new handset.
My 4G service won't connect me to the Internet via safari or my apps. Using iOS 5.1 on 4s. Friends with same phone and network are not having this problem in the same building as me. Everytime I'm using the 4g service I get a application timed out error.
My blackberry curve had been working fine up until last night. I tried a few things such as reconnecting to the verizon mobile network, I did a reboot and a few hard reboots, I finally wound up doing a wipe which didn't help either. Before I wiped the bb I ran a diagnostics test and my radio data activation would say no and everything else would be unknown. I have no service books and my host routing table is empty. Yhe blackberry internet server doesnt recognize that the phone is activated. I dont know what else to do, I took it to a local verizon store and he said my software is shot and I need a new phone.
My phone keeps saying "Searching" on top, and because of that I think it's causing my phone to lag. Buttons become unresponsive and so do tapping on them on screen. It starts freezing up and I think it's because it's attempting to get a signal with Sprint.

I have a Blackberry 9860 with DU sim. In order to have access with instant messaging (BBM, FB, YM), i subscribed to DU's social blackberry service(1.50 aed/day). Usually, once i dont have a load balance, the service will automatically deactivated but once i recharge, the 1.50 aed will automatically deducted and my subscription will be activated. But last wednesday night, it was deactivated since i dont have load balance. That same day, i recharge and was expecting that it will be activated again...But i didnt received any notification that it was activated Until now its not activated. They just keep on telling me to wait and just gave me an exact time and it will be activated again..but nothing happens.
I have a Blackberry 8520, v4.6.1.272 This is a replacement, as when I was having problems with my first, I was told it was faulty. This one seems to be even worse!1. When I go to set-up my emails, I only get one option, to use Enterprise. I need the other option (this showed up on my first phone so I know it should be there).2. When I go to services status, it tells me I'm not connected to Blackberry Internet Service. The browser works fine; I can surf the Internet. But I need to sort out my emails! how to connect to BIS? I've gone into options and registered under host routing, and got the message to say I was registered. I've tried taking out the battery and SIM.
My SI number is 1246-7737 and I want to accept the update with ICS.But it said my software is up to date however then i cannot connect to PCC or US .What the problem it was?

I have been facing this problem this the last couple of months.. whenever I travel and get into the roaming network, my phone doesnt connect to the Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) because of which i cannot use BBM or any other internet based application. As soon as i am in local network, it gets connected to BIS. I have tried everything..data service while roaming is on.. have switched off phone, removed sim and restarted. Last evening I visited Vodafone store, the guy put my sim in another blackberry device and it got connected to BIS. However its doesnt get connected on my device. He suggested me to do a data wipe which I did, still am unable to connect to BIS.

I use windows live as my IM client, hence my first instinct when entering the IM app was to input my details and the app would do all the work, but I saw a blank field asking for the web address of the IM server. I have tried all kinds of addresses and searched all sorts of sites for the right address, but I still get the "cannot connect to the service" error.
I have a nokia Lumia 800 handset with airtel as service provider, I activated their GPRS data service (read edge) and I am not able to connect to internet, however earlier I had Vodafone and I never faced such issues with it,
Every time I use it (either for yahoo messenger or ovi) it must can't to connect.notification showed that "Temporary service problem.Try again later(code503) but if i try again it must be same.
I have problem to download maps into my phone (Nokia C6-00, last firmware v40.0.021). If I launch Ovi Suite (v3.1.1.90) and go to Maps section, screen "Connecting to the map service..." is displayed, but after while: "Couldn't connect to the service - There seems to be a problem with connecting to the online map service. If the problem doesn't go away, please try again later.".
I'm connected over WiFi and all is working normally. I tried connection over USB cable and bluetooth as well, restart computer and phone, reinstall Ovi Suite, format memory card, reinstall device software, reset to factory settings, full reset to initial state (*#7370#) but it wasn't worked.

If I close my phone account with a particular phone service because I no longer need my personal phone, will my Iphone still work like an ipod in that it can still get to the internet through WiFi? Or general what functions will the piece of equipment still have? For example, will apps still work?
I have a S2 with 2.3.3 installed. I did upgrade previously using Kies. I now want to connect the phone to Kies, but it does not work properly.I connect the phone to the PC and it is detected by Windows. I can even browse the files in Windows Explorer. When I start Kies, it just says "Connecting..." but fails after a while with error "Can not start service on device". The phone screens shows that I am connected to Kies.
Anyone else have the issues of calls dropping as they are placed and/or "Cannot Connect to the Cellular Data service" when you try open email or Safari?
When I try to access web sites from the Blackberry browser I get the "Unable to connect to the selected mobile data service. Please try again later" message. This happens whether connected through the T-Mobile network or Wi-fi.When I change the browser settings to the T-Mobile browser I am able to access web site just fine. However I would prefer to use the Blackberry browser because not all pages load correctly with the T-Mobile browser.
I have an active data plan and am connected to an enterprise server. My outlook and webmail e-mails work so I don't think it's a problem with my carrier. I've tried a battery pull, re-sending my service books, etc without luck.I think the problem may have started after connecting to my desktop for the first time in about a year, but I'm not completely certain. T-Mobile support and IT administrator have been no help.
I recently got a BB bold that's unlocked from ATT. I do not have the Blackberry plan, I only have T-zones. I am able to surf the web and such using opera mini. All my weather and internet radio applications work fine. The only thing I can not get to work is MMS. I can receive but not send. Says no mms service book.I found a generic T-zones service book that I installed to the phone using DM. Unfortunately the service book does not contain the MMS book. Where can I find or add this service book? There must be a way. Is is possible for someone else to send me their service book and have that work?
i have got a blackberry bold 9700 and ever since i upgraded to os 6 official download from blackberry website i have been having problems calling and receiving calls, it says no service currently available. i have a strong signal so that aint the problem and also when i put my vodafone sim into another device it is working fine. however i have downgraded and still no use. i have contacted vodafone and they said they cannot do much about, i took it to my local mobile repair store and the guy their thought it was blocked but my BIS works (blackberry internet service) which means my phone is not blocked because i can chat with my friends on the blackberry messenger. this has become a big problem because i mainly use my blackberry for calling.
I got my new blackberry bold on Monday..Well my service keeps going in and out.It never did before so I know it's not the area I live in! Anyone else having this issue?
