Why I can't do full backup of my data? When I log in to BB protect in section my data I can see few back ups when I try to do backup on my phone is performing only recent backup and I can't choose the oldest one. And anyway why I can't keep all the texts on my phone after sending data all texts are gone
View 2 RepliesI recently got an update that required a backup. I left my phone on over night. I woke up and discovered an App Error 603. I clicked reset, then it restarted the phone. However, it takes me back to the backup your data screen at 0%. Then an application permerssion notice comes up with Allow or Deny. I try to click either one and it freezes and goes back to the App Error 603 notice.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI am trying to back up all my data before doing a security swipe (impossible to connect to BBID and this seems to be the only solution...) but Blackberry Protect isn't working online (it says my phone is busy and the back up cannot be completed).I've tried to back up via my software but none of my contacts, pics, calendars or tasks appear when I click on the logo. I cannot even update the phone's software as nothing seems to work... I cannot use my phone properly and there is no way to call IRM (O2 said they could not help, great...).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI reflashed all the factory images to my Nexus 6P (except userdata), and then restored a TWRP backup of the data partition. This worked, my phone boots up and obviously has my installed apps, etc. But... on the Nexus 6P when you restart the phone you have to enter your lock pattern or PIN. My phone was previously configured with a pattern. It seems the TWRP data backup didn't backup the lock pattern, because it doesn't recognize my pattern.
My fingerprint is recognized, but on the Nexus 6P you still have to enter the lock pattern or PIN when you first reboot. So, I have no way to get into the phone. I tried setting a new lock screen password with Android Device Manager, but it doesn't work. I still get the screen asking for the lock pattern. Is there any way I can get into my phone without blowing away all the data?
I am about to back up my files before installing the latest firmware update but the phone says "memory full, close some applications" or something to that effect. However, I have over 12 GB of memory on my phone. So what gives? I've read forum threads for other Nokia phones that have the same problem and the only solution is to do a hard reset. I am hoping to avoid that.
I just installed the full upgrade, and my phone is completely empty, all is locat. Luckily I see pre-upgrade backup on my computer.

View 4 Replies View Relatedi have a blackberry bold 9700 v 5.0.0.862 ( bundle 1446, platform 5.1.0.175 I fully charged my battery monday night, unplugged it before going to sleep.When i woke up the phone was turned off, when i turned on i got a white screen with a battery with a red line through it but no blackberry loading screen.I didn't know what was wrong so i plugged phone in to charge a bit. when there was no change i unplugged it and held the power button. After many many many attempts to turn it back on finally i got the BB loading screen.The battery had full power when I finally got it turned back on.I used the phone throughout the day but come suppertime the battery was still full so i went to a friends. Halfway through dinner the phone displayed " BATTERY DRAINED TURNING OFF HANDHELD " .
Got home plugged in, turned back on and battery was 50%. I charged it to 100% and unplugged it before going to sleep. Woke up this morning to ringing phone i answered it had the chance to say hello then it displayed " BATTERY DRAINED TURNING OFF HANDHELD " !!! Went to turn back on got the battery screen again , finally after an hour or more of trying to turn back on it finally loaded and guess what?? THE BATTERY IS SITTING AT 100%!!I don't know what's going on but my phone keeps saying the battery is drained and the phone turns off but the battery is still full.
I was recently noticing some differences in the pictures saved in the stock S6 Gallery app and those backed up in the Google Photos app. Even though I have the Photos app set to upload "full size"... there is a noticeable difference when it comes to clarity and ability to zoom. Is there a fix that I am simply overlooking? Because it's not even close to be honest.

After updating to latest firmware v20.0.005, Nokia 5230 file manager backup won't work? It says that "memory is full" (which is NOT true - there's around 30mb free) and asks to "close applications" which is ridiculous as none besides menu and home screen is open?

I did a normal backup and just before it finished, a message came up saying the DM could not backup one Theme. I clicked OK and then it comes up with another message and it says Backup completed ... click OK .So is it just one theme that's odd and not being backed up? (which I don't mind) With (hopefully) the rest of my stuff backed up as usual.

Love the phone and very happy that I moved to it. The last thing I need is to find a way to move my Tribez app with the game data to my new HTC ONE.
