I don't know if I'm the only person getting this problem but sometimes while making or receiving a call and the phone press against your face it sometimes dial back the same number on the screen.

So if somebody wants any information from me thats stored on my phone, I cant just read it out from the phone. I ll have to wait till the call ends, search for the info and then call them back! Whats the use of call waiting if i cant see who's calling while I am already on another call?

The calls listed in the Recent Call section of the 9810 are shown as a solid 10-digit block. Any one know how to set the format of these numbers to add a separator - dashes, periods, or spaces - to make the numbers easier to read and faster to identify? Have been unable to find anything in the device of in the 9810 user guide.

All other functions like receiving calls and applications are working. The problem is not with the SIM, I tried it in a different phone and it works perfectly. My phone operator says on their side everything is perfect.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy former Android phone had an app that was able to speed dial one of 8 people even when the phone was locked. It appeared on the lock screen and was able to dial one of 8 numbers with a single press and swipe. It dialed based on the direction of the swipe.
Is there something similar for Windows 10 Phone? I'd rather not need to unlock the phone in order to dial one of my most called contacts.
It doesn't have to be an app that behaves exactly like this. Just curious how others have efficiently handled speed-dial.

I just found a problem with my Bionic today. I was trying to access my voicemail and had to hit the number 1 on the dial pad during a call to enter my mailbox number.
The number 1 would not do anything during the call. All other numbers worked. If I kept trying to press the number 1 the screen would go black for a second then return with the dial pad. A factory reset did not cure it.
I went to a local Verizon store and the person there told me that this is a known issue and it only happens when the volume is up full. He then said that I have to put the volume down to 1/2 in order for the number 1 to work properly during a call
I called Motorola when I returned home and was told that this is not a known issue - they never heard of it.
Researching on Google and this Forum I have found others that have had this same issue. I have not heard of any resolution yet.
Both Motorola and Verizon Phone Tech Support recommended replacing the phone. Verizon Tech Support was supposed to call me back in an hour after my call with them to see what I wanted to do but never did. I was supposed to keep trying the number 1 after they had me force stop and clear the dialer and virtual keyboard. The problem still exists.
I only have a matter of hours before my 14 days is up at Verizon at which point I will be given a refurbished phone. For some reason I could not log onto this forum today to post this. I just now got in.
Do any other owners of the Bionic experience this? I don't want to replace the phone if they all do it. It's down to the wire now!
I am having trouble to dial any phone number. When I press the dial symbol, immediately it returns the error message "contacts stopped" - "o Contatos parou - in Portuguese".
I already tried to clean the cache and data of all related apps, tried hard reset, and still the same error. What could be possibly wrong? The errors started after I dialed a huge telephone number (XX XX xxx xxx xxx xxx) 16 numbers total. Could it be related to this?
When placing a phone call the Droid Pro seems to dial the number then as connection is being made it automatically ends the call. Then it automatically redials the number and it connects properly. This was acceptable until I tried to use the blue tooth connection in my car. How do I fix this?

Instead of the normal 6 tiles at the bottom, I have only three now. I cannot mute the line or go to a dial pad. I am chatting with Samsung support about it but they are clueless so far. We have tried a soft reset, resetting the Cache and Data for the Phone App, resetting app preferences and Safe Mode and nothing has worked.

Used to be, typing the beginning of a name from the Home screen brought up matches in the Contacts list so you could easily call them.Now when I type a name, other apps (mail,texts, etc) will display matches, but nothing from contacts. Indeed, dialing from the Home screen doesn't work at all -- I can't even type in a number.
I have just deleted the Facebook application that came preinstalled on the Bold 9930. After restarting the phone, the FB icon is still on the screen but an error is displayed if the icon is tapped. How to delete the icon as well?

I cannot get it to come up with my phone number. when i go to the call screen it comes up as 00000000000 and whn i check my sim card info on the phone it says my phone number but I cannot get the right number to come up on the call screen, and can't make or recieve calls.
