I got my 9900 in October, 2011. Sometimes when I use it, the pointer always points the upside of the page even though I choose the bottom option. and it totally loses control.

I have the iphone 3GS and I accidentally put the voice control on last night and now when I go into the settings page it wont let me scroll down to the bottom of the page.

I got my new Bold 9900 about two weeks ago. I noticed today that there is thin black line that across my camera screen. This line is near the bottom of the camera screen and is in photos I take. This line will move downwards as I zoom in and disappears if I zoom in enough (and won't be in the pictures taken when zoomed in enough).
This line doesn't appear when I change to video camera. BTW my conveneice key which currently on the default option (camera) is EXTREMELY hard to activitate...I need to press REALLY hard!
I bought my 9900 in June, and I have encountered lots of problems and downsides.1-Really short battery life, drains too quickly2-Bad speaker performance in open areas3-Horrid app performance4-Horrid selection of apps5-Constant freezing and loading times, regularly having to unplug batteryAnd now the most severe thing ever happened:I didn't drop my phone, but a week or two ago a straight horizontal line of blue pixels appeared. I was curious, and I took a screenshot. The blue line wasn't visible. One or two days later the space between the line(It went from one side to the other side) and the bottom of the screen started to flicker, and sometimes completely went black. The black area was a third of my screen, and it is really hard to use with this black space on my screen. It eventually became always pitch-black, and now it rarely flickers.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI had recently downloaded and installed the new os 7.1.0.267 os from SK Telecom form the software download page of on blackberry site to my bold 9900. Upon doing that i was able to access the new mobile hot spot feature and even set it up for use after calling my service provider for the APN which is Lime Jamaica. I even tested it by using another phone which detected it. However sometime afterwards about 30 minutes to an hour later while listening to music my headset got pull out by mistake and upon putting it back in realized music wouldn't start playing back after pressing the side button. Unlocked the phone only to see the play icon highlighted in music player but nothing wouldn't register when clicked with trackpad or touch screen. plus got a message on the screen saying that device media player was busy, which continued for a while. Did a battery pull afterwards which fixed the problem. However a few hours later when i decided to show a friend the new feature and test it by connecting his phone, upon accessing the connections menu the mobile hot spot option was missing even in networks and connections. essentially it disappeared form the phone the only apps on the phone besides the default ones was wikitude and whatsapps. Even after a factory reset it didn't return. Did a clean wipe of the os and installed the os again upon which the hot spot option returned only to disappear again after about a few minutes at which time no extra apps was insatlled just the default ones. Have no idea whats causing this and whats worse the 7.1.0.267 download has been removed from the Sk Telecom link.

I've bought Unbranded Bold 9900, all thing works perfectly.Except the Network Option.. I can't set the network to H+ like 9900 from Rogers/Bell/Telus..Here in Indonesia, my carrier offering & provide H+ Network,but I can't change my unbranded 9900 network to H+..My friends also bought 9900 from Rogers Canada,he bring it to Indonesia, and he also used the same carrier like mine who support H+ Network..In his Rogers 9900 he can switch the network option to 3G/H+,he got H+ symbol at the signal bars, and he can enjoy the H+ network.My question is:Can I have the H+ network option in Unbranded 9900 ?So, I can enjoy too the H+ services on my carrier..Is there a difference between unbranded 9900 and 9900 rogers ?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI updated from 7.0 to 7.1 and just noticed that a number of my calendar entries are missing.I'm not entirely sure when this happened.I don't think it happened at the time of updating to the new OS but it's possible.I received an "out of application memory" error message a week ago and have read that people have encountered a loss of data with such an error.I did a backup of my data on May 17th before upgrading to 7.1 calendar entries = 800, today calendar entries = 369.Since I use my device on a BES all entries associated with the BES account appear to be intact but I've lost all other entries.When I went to restore the calendar entries only from the backup it is greyed out indicating that these are "read only data types and cannot be restored" when selecting "Select Data to Restore/Select device data and settings" as opposed to "All device data and settings".Unsure how to proceed - clearly the data is present in the backup based on the entry value do I need to do a full restore and rollback to 7.0? in order to recover the calendar entries??

It seems there are always problems cropping up whenever I arrive at the other country (SIM Swap). most problems are easily solved with resending Service Books and/or Battery Pull.However my latest problem can't be solved regardless whatever I did.There is no sound whenever a new email gets push to my Phone, also, i only have a "Save Draft" option BUT NOT "Send" option. I can't send mail now.Things I have done.1. Battery Pull2. Re-registering my email (after deleting Service Books and the removing the email from device)3. View 1 Replies View RelatedI was just using the Bionic to check email when bang, everything disapeared. o email screen, no phone icon or other bottom row and now notifications.All I had was 3 or 4 icons per screen and I could look at the screens double tapping the home and getting the big view. But most apps were missing from the home pages though and none would start. I finally realized that I was seeing a zoomed image of the home page scroller screens.I tried everything to get to the apps drawer but couldn't. I wanted to snap a screengrabber.I had to shut it down, restart and phone is back to normal.The image I'm attaching is mocked up from a capture I made with no background. Wish I could have captured it for real.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy phone has been acting weird lately in a number of different ways. Firstly, if I am in a message with my keyboard open, and press the power button, when I turn on the screen again, the keyboard is stuck on the lock screen.
Secondly, my keyboard seems to be overlapping the pointer when i tap on a word and when I spell a word and it autocorrects,but I want to revert to the previous word so I tap on it, that previous word in the dropbox is hidden behind the keyboard as well. See attachment.
OK so the title would have you think I have the developer option turned on to show touch location. I don't have it on. I've checked and restarted my phone. It still gas a little circle wherever my finger touches the screen.

I recently updated my 5800's firmware and I a now find that the FULL page qwerty keyboard is no longer an option for inputting text. Can anyone confirm this? Can I go back to the old firmware? I am visually impaired the full page keyboard was very useful.
