View 1 RepliesI was sent an email with a large attachment with it and now I'm unable to access my emails nor send texts?Whenever I try, I'm presented with this error message: -'Uncaught exception: java.long.array Indexoutofboundsexception' and an 'OK' button. When I click this, (in the vain hope all will be OK from there on in, it logs out of the app and I'm back to square one! Therefore rendering the phone useless! When I contacted Blackberry support, it states that it has no knowledge of 'Uncaught exception: java.long.array Indexoutofboundsexception' ?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI´m having problems with my BB. I have a BB Bold 9780 (v6.0.0.285, Platform 6.5.0.54 -whatever that means-), and everything works perfectly except for the BB Messenger. Whenever I click on the icon, I get this: uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm getting this error immediately after I enter my password just once after a device reboot.I know this is an error that is thrown by an application but my problem is I cannot determine which one. I used the device switch wizard to switch from a Bold 9700 with OS5 and a fair number of apps installed. I used app world to delete everything that was not a Research in Motion created app, rebooted, then cleanly reinstalled a subset of the 3rd party apps. The error persisted even when only RIM created software was installed. How do I determine which application is throwing this error? I tried looking at the system log, the error is there but with no detail as to which module or app is causing it.
View 9 Replies View RelatedRecently I started encountering this error 'Uncaught exception: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError' whenever I go to the Appworld. I checked my memory size and still have 1.6GB available out of 1.8GB. This only happens when I attempt to launch any APP. It keeps on running endlessly for several minutes then returns the error.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy blackberry App World has started to generate the error: UUID Must Be 36 Characters Long.
I know that it it App World for the following reasons:
1) Absolutely no changes have been to the phone.
2) App World loads when the phone is rebooted (battery removal and replaced). However, when it is selected it will not display.
3) When I uninstall the application the error goes away.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the software has not resolved this issue.
I have downloaded several themes for me Blackberry Bold 9700 and i am unable to access the interet/web browser. Whenever i click on it the error message Uncaught excpetion:java-lang-illegalarumentexception. Is there any advice someone could please give me as it would be greatly appreciated as i have had my first Blackberry for only 1 month?
View 7 Replies View RelatedA couple of months ago the What's App application required an update. I updated it and ever since my phone has steadily had more and more issues. First, I kept getting this uncaught error message, shortly thereafter the 2 email accounts (both gmail) that I have linked to the account disappeared. The message icon shows that I have messages, but icons not there (I have tried the show all option). At one point the message icon started exponentially adding the number of messages until it got up to over 86,000. When I reboot the phone it goes back down and then steadily increases again. usually though it's more to 400 - 500 rather then tens of thousands. I have been trying to install updates and do a wipe of the BB so that I can start from scratch, unfortunately the application loader is unable to back up data. The desktop manager is unable to connect to the blackberry and indicates that an upgrade is required. I have tried doing the upgrade both directly from the phone and connected to the desktop manager, but nothing seems to work. If I try to upgrade the software directly from the BB, I get to the start download button and when I click, nothing happens. I have removed all applications except bberry app world and one game that I play, Pixelated Plus. Still nothing.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIt started with my message folder disappearing, or me deleting it without knowing. I couldnt find it and it ended up on my screen somehow. Now the problem is this message "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NullPointerException", , and this when I go to the message folder. The message folder is empty and I can send messages, but not recieve them. I see the lille arrow in the corner, meaning im recieving something, but nothing happens... And when i send a text it doesnt show the text as send, the folder is just empty, so it doesnt save draft either.. Ive tried reeboting and changing the theme, nothing works. Should i wipe it? cause i dont think i can reinstall os then, bcause i dont have internet on my bbI read [URL], and guess that I what I am supposed to do? but I do not understand it all. I understand the words, but something like desktop manager and installing the device software, where to find this?! I dont have a USB either, is this really necessary?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy BBTorch OS6 was working perfectly fine, and while downloading an app through AppWorld, it freezed. I removed the battery to reboot it and it started working fine for the frist 30 seconds or so, and then it freezed again. I repeated the rebooting about five times and the same keeps happening, so I connected it to the Desktop Software on my PC and it cannot back up data or update the device software: the phone freezes immediately after rebooting! What can I do? I can't even use my phone! Every time it freezes, the error message on the screen says "Uncaught exception: java.lang.ClassCast Exception

View 3 Replies View RelatedLast night my battery was on the point of dying. It was in standby mode with the light flashing orange but when i went to press some buttons, nothing. It wouldn't respond to anything so i removed and re-inserted the battery (without having it on charge). When it did finally fire back up my home page was adorned with the message 'Uncaught Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException' (with a highlighted OK option). But it's completely frozen. I can't press ok. I can't scroll onto anything else. I can't turn off the handset, Ctrl Shift Delete doesn't respond. Nothing. I've replaced the battery numerous times, charged the phone, removed and reinserted the sim.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI'm running the newest OS 5.0.0.681, and every time I reboot I get an "uncaught exception java.lang.Error". After I hit "OK" everything seems to run fine, but the error just won't go away. This is the second time it's doing this...the first time it happened I thought a wipe and reinstall would fix it, but it just came back. I don't know what app might be causing this (if it's indeed an app).
The third-party ones I have installed are:
FancyTran
Gmail
Google Maps
Ka-Glom
Pandora
Poynt
UberTwitter
WeatherBug
I also have App World, Twitter for BlackBerry, and Facebook installed. I've tweaked dozens of times with Application Permissions but the little error just won't go away!
I am using BB Curve 8520 for past 2 years off lately my phone has started behaving weird
1) When ever I restart the phone give me this error message "Uncaught exception: java.lang.NoClassDelFoundError".
2) I went to make a call and the speaker keeps flicking to headset and back, I have never connected a headset so it cannot be the settings issue. I tried the below solution it worked for a day and phone started behaving the same from yesterday...Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
I have a 9300 Curve Blackberry. This morning, when I was gonna check my email and SMS (Text),there were 3 error messages: Uncaught Exception: Java.Lang.NullException & Uncaught Exception: Application net_rim_bb_messaging_app(110) is not responding; process terminated, and Uncaught Exception: Application net_rim_bb_messaging_app(803) is not responding; process terminated. Up till now, I still can't check both my emails and SMS (Text).
