only got the phone today.. and wanna try sort it myself because i got into O2!! its stuck on Security Software Verification and Now Permanent Frozen and i cant do anything wiv it... ive tried over and over again turning it on a off, updateing the os, backing it up, desktop software and desktop manager.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI cannot receive/send email after perform the security wipe and retore my back up.Below is the step I have done:
1. Perform a complete back up using Blackberry Desktop Software.
2. Perform security wipe manually on the phone via Options > Security > Security Wipe.
3. After wiped, I using Blackberry Desktop Software to restore my backed up data.
4. Starting from now, i can't send/receive emails.
I have try go to Setup > Email Accounts > click into Internet Mail Account, but it bound back to the Setup page. Then i try Message icon > Options > Email Account Management, it prompt up "Unable to open email setup application. Contact your wireless service provider" message. May I khow what happen to my blackberry?

I've searched every forums and search engine for this, but cannont pin point my exact problem...I bought a 9780 yesterday, everything was fine, i set up my emails etc... everything worked.THEN... i stupidly security waped the phone this when things changed.Once the phone came back on i re-configured my email accounts, but now when i go onto my emails i see no inbox folder or emails what was there previouslyALTHOUGH i can send and recieve emails, but these come in list format...Ive made sure and uncheak the hide folder and sent numerous service book requests (these come through...)

Now when i start it, it will reboot to about 10% and than start to reboot again, and again. It's stuck in a cycle of reboots. I tried connecting my blackberry whit my pc but the pc couldn't find the blackberry. I had a brand new battery laying around so I put that in but it did nothing.

All I can do is lock and unlock the device. I tried wiping off data and install new OS and updating the OS but no use. When I reinstall a new OS I hear some music. View 1 Replies View RelatedIt is very strange - the phone blocked and was unresponsive for some time, then I restarted it and it is stuck on the restart loading screen (the black screen with bb logo and the progress bar). If I wait 15 mins it goes to the next white screen with the bb logo but never manages to go any further even after 2 hours waiting.
I tried hard reset(battery pull), then I tried wiping it with JL cmder but it can't connect to the device because it is not loaded. Then I tried the desktop manager to update and install a new os but it just doesn't find any os although I have 2 os versions for bb 9780 installed on my pc.
My bb bold 9000 is stuck at the verify security software ..... it is at 100% security tests passed and it just didnt disappear as normal. I can't do anything with my bb. Oh i can hold on the bb button to look which program is running. I can push the dial button but just cant dial... i cant scroll or type anything. I faced this problem out of no where when i reboot the bb last night. i left it like that whole night thinking that i might need times.
I tried battery pull and alt+right shift+del to reset... it still not work... the OS version is 5.0 already,
I was updating my Blackberry Bold 9780 using Deskop Software when my computer went into sleep mode (forgot to change the settings). So when I woke it up, "app error 200" occurred on my bb screen and I had to reset it and stop the update. Now it won't turn on. I tried the battery pull but nothing changed. The progress bar on the welcome screen goes almost until its end and stops, after some time the same error screen appears.

It freeezes every minute I had to delete most of my apps and most of my bb contacts beacuse I thought itwas space because I do not have a memory card. View 2 Replies View RelatedRecently (as in the past 2 or so days), when I am in the Music app and selecting a song to play, the little window to type in your iTunes password pops up and asks me to type in my iTunes password. I have already tried many things to remedy the situation. I've pressed cancel, and it goes away, but comes back randomly after a few minutes. I've put my password in [and yes, I put in the correct password] and the same thing happened.
I've signed out and signed back in, through both the Settings app AND through iTunes and the App Store on my device. I've turned it off and back on. I've plugged it in and synced it. I backed it up and did a full restore to that back up. No luck. The only thing that *seems* to work is just signing out and staying signed out. This is somewhat annoying, because now every time I want to buy a song, or update an App, I'll have to sign in, download it, and then sign out. Â
How I can fix this, without losing all of my data? I don't use iTunes Match or iCloud, so it couldn't be those things.
I tried to flash my phone with the UK firmware, it failed and could not start my phone. Someone told me I should use Kies, so I did that and was able to get stock firmware back on phone. I then rooted with CF-root and everything went fine.
When I now boot into recovery some random blue android robot guy pops up and after a little time (15-20 seconds) he dies with a red cross over his head. I then get into recovery mode just fine, but at he bottom it says: dm-veity verification failed..
The phone is currently locked (security code) and it is asking me to type in "blackberry." Unfortunately, the "a" button does not work and I am unable to unlock the phone. I have tried a hard reset (removing the battery) but have not been successful.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI did a security wipe on my Blackberry Bold 9900. I have managed to restore everything, however I cannot seem to set up my email address (which is a Yahoo address). I keep getting the error message that it has not been possible to connect to the server.
I have also foun a problem with my BBM, I am able to send messages, but no one can send any to me. This problem has also come about after the security wipe.

View 3 Replies View RelatedOkay so I've just received a refurbished Nexus 5 from Google as my old one had a hardware power button fail. Anyway I've decided this time round I'm not going to root and wanted the phone completely stock so thought I would do all the OTA updates it gives me before I start messing around with it but have a slight problem.
The phone came installed with 4.4.2 and did an over the air update to 4.4.4 it now wants to upgrade to 5.0.1 however whenever I download the update which is 479.5MB it downloads it and tries to 'verify' install and then I get a 'verification failed' every time and it doesn't install? (may I add I have literally not touched the phone it's come straight from Google, the only thing I've done is logged into my Google account and updated whatever stock apps needed updating in the play store)
Cannot get Apple to send a verification email. I have tested that the email account works so I know that is not an issue. Have been to the (not so) Genius Bar twice but they do not have a clue as why it will not send the email. When I contact Apple I just get the same links to the same posts but no answers.
