ok I could be missing something really easy here but I can't find out how to save sms message from my inbox. I've tried opening the message then clicking on the menu and just highlighting it without opening and then clicking on menu. I can't see a save button anywhere.
My Blackberry Bold 9780 will not send a text message any more. The gprs logo in the top right hand corner has changed to lower case and this seems to have stopped it working.
So my Bold 9780 has been acting very weird lately. And for some reason I think it has somethign to do with BB Protect. It wanted to do an update while I was in a wifi zone and then thigns started going wrong from that day.So what happens is i'll be scanning thru the icons and they'll just open without me clicking on them. Also, when texting or using bbm, my msg will send without me clicking send. So I will be half done a msg and it'll send. Finally, I've tried to battery out, restore, and all those classic quick fix optoins and they haven't worked.
I've asked this before, and I've searched a lot and nothing seems to be exactly what I'm looking for. Maybe I just don't know how to interpret the results.Anyway, I recently restore my iPhone to eliminate all of the clutter and cydia problems I was having. I decided to JB with Redsn0w this time (instaed of blackra1n) because I've been told it's a lot smoother. I was also told to ensure the same problems don't restore, It's vital that I set up my phone as a new phone. Before I do that though, I want to save my text messages so I can put them back on my phone after I set it up as new. It is the only thing I'd really care to save. (Apart from my phones usage information, if anyone knows how to do that aswell, let me know!).So if anyone can let me know a quick and easy, (or long and complicated... whatever it takes) FREE way to save my messages so I can put them on my phone again after I set up as new, and JB with Redsn0w.
As a business user I get a lot of voice messages and I find it odd that Orange delete them after 7 days as sometimes they contain important information which I would like to save. If you would like this feature please also send feedback on the Apple feedback site- http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html
I know that in the camera there is a setting to save your pictures and videos to either the internal memory or the SD card, how can you save other things to the card instead of the phone or is there even a way to do so? like pictures you save from texts, Zedge, and music files etc...
So I used to have the 8900, and whenever I had a text message, I can just highlight it and click 'save', and it would save a copy of it in a folder, which means I can delete the one I got. For some reason, with OS 5.0, I do not have that option anymore. I went to the SMS option and had it saved to an SD card, but doesn't work.
When receiving a new call from a new number (with caller ID, this number is not in my contact list), I can see both the name and number displayed, if i go to Add to Contacts, only the number gets copied over, and i have to manually type in this name (came displayed thru caller ID), is there any ways to get this default name copied over every time when I add a person so I don't have to type it in? A side question, numbers broken down to ### ### #### with spaces that are saved in contacts still will work with calls, but when receiving text messages my phone wont recognize it was already in my contacts(as in, it will show the text is from a number instead of the name I saved in my contact list). because text message numbers come with +1######### format.
I'm a theme junkie and often find myself with too many themes and too little memory. How can I save some of these themes to my laptop and delete them from my BB to reinstall at a later date?
so i received an sms from a friend who i dont have saved in my contact list.is there a way to save the number straight from the sms into my contact list without having to copy it first and going into Contacts and saving it there
Is there a software to save sms from BB device to pc in a windows environment? I mean something like Jeyo Extender for Outlook with Windows CE devices.
The problem I experience (BB Bold & AT&T, using on Microsoft Exchange, with Mac Snow Leopard) is that every time I save an email as draft, it appears as a new unread email on my BlackBerry. And I cannot delete them just one by one, which is kind of annoying with 20 messages...
how do i change the memory settings as I want to save all my applications on my memory card. I have barely managed to install 3-4 applications and messengers. I says that memory is full please delete some applications.
I recently purchased a BB Bold 9000 and my SMS message inbox is full already. Every time I recieve a msg it asks me to delete some msgs to create space. Is there any way I can save all my existing msgs to my device or my memory card and all the incoming ones too?
A couple of days ago I bought the new Blackberry Bold 9900. But I couldn't get the answer of three questions: - How/where can I turn off GPS and WiFi? (I can get to the options of the connections but there isn't an option where I can turn it off) - Is it better for the battery life to use the vibrating notifications or the audible notifications? - How long should my BB be able to function with a fully fulled battery?
My 9780 Bold restarted after I deleted an app, but won't reboot fully. The white loading bar stalls at about 2/3 in, even when I try to start it up again after a battery pull.
I have a BB Bold9000 (v4.6.0.147). while i'm on the phone with someone, and i have to save a phone number, is there any other way besides "Add new contact"? if i just type in the number it disappears right after the conversation is over (instead of having it on the screen after the call is over). if i type the no and click the green Call button it just disappears faster.
Running OS 7.1.0.746 on the Rogers NetworkEverytime I add or edit a contact and press "save" the phone freezes for up to a minute before I can use it again. This also happens when inviting or accepting a new BBM contact. (BBM 7)I've already done a OS re-load and a re-install of BBM 7. Available Application Storage: 102.8 MBAvailable Built In Media Storage: 6.2 GB
My blackberry bold 9790 phone is no saving images and videos in a file where it can be accessed. When I connect the phone to a computer the images and video are visible but cannot be viewed on the phone. There is no memory card on the phone.
