my daughter kept getting an error message on her bold 9700 .i uninstalled it but the option to reinstall it isnt on the facebook app.? i cant reinstall it .my 12 year old girl is in bits please please can someone end this nightmare

View 1 Replies View RelatedI went out one night and when I woke up I noticed an application icon was missing on my BB. I just now realized that its BB AppWorld that has disappeared and I cannot seem to find it for the life of me. I assume I drunkenly hit some random keys and it vanished but I can't possibly imagine how I have checked all my hidden folders and every thing. My Applications page under Settings lists AppWorld and I have even tried countless battery pulls and deleting AppWorld and reinstalling it.

A few months later I attemptedto download OVI Facebook App again but was advised I had to delete the Facebook install files from my handset.
Did this but have also accidentally deleted the mobile Facebook original App that was on the handset when purchased! Tried to re-download this from mobile Facebook site - but just get a blank screen? how to reinstall the original mobile Facebook App?

1- whenever i tried to download any application through blackberry.com i face this messag
"Sorry , your session has been expired. Please close all your browser windows and then return to the welcome page to start again." it was the only one page running at that time . i tried to restart the bb many times but i keep facing the same message.
2- Live messenger is not working . this message appears "Service not enabled for this handheld"
3- facebook application also not working ( i gess it is the same problem as live messenger)
How do I do this? I can delete my emails and texts from my messages, but can't work out how to delete BB FB notifications that I no longer want there, as they clutter it up a bit after a while.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am based in the UK and I am having problems setting up email on my blackberry bold 9700.I have 2 email accounts, both of which come up with 'username and/or password invalid'. My first and main account is with hotmail.co.uk, my second account is with googlemail.com.It might be important to note that my password for both is the same, but I dont see this as an issue as it consits of only letters and numbers.Also, my girlfriend input her hotmail.com account and it worked fine. So why does it work for her and not me?! I have tried to get a hotmail.com account but for some reason only hotmail.co.uk and live.co.uk are the only options for new email accounts here.This problem is also reflected in the Facebook application, whereas my girlfriend input her facebook username (which is her hotmail.com address) and it worked. When I input my Facebook username (my hotmail.co.uk address) it says that this is invalid!It is sooo frustrating and as a new blackberry user I feel a bit out of my depth

I have NEVER been able to use the Facebook App. I had downloaded the v1.7 from App world and it never worked giving me the message: "Could not connect because a data service is not available. I deleted it and tried downloading from the link sent from this website for v1.6 and received this message:
"Notice Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Facebook." I must state that this is not the only problem I am having, it now seems that Bluetooth doesn't work either.
Blackberry Bold and have totally enjoyed every minute of using it EXCEPT every time I get a comment on Facebook, I get a notification sound. This can be really annoying in the middle of the night! How do I turn off the sound for this? I am not getting a good nights sleep unless I turn off the phone - which is not an option.

Currently, I have to click 'mark prior unopened' in order to erase the yellow mail icon with the red star -- so that the icon doesn't show up in the status bar.
I'd prefer to not see this notification at all. Same with facebook notifications. Haven't found the settings for these.
Is there any way to set the Bold 9700 so I don't see any visual notifications for email?
Hi just wondering when i receive notifications on facebook my phone doesnt beep to say that i have a notification i have looked in the sound profile settings and changed the facebook setting but still no luck. I recieve emails without no problem phone beeps to say that i have a new email. Is anyone else having this problem with facebook.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Bold 9700 on the 3 Mobile network. I only have one email account setup, and it is a Gmail account. I use Facebook for Blackberry.So here's my problem - a few days ago I checked my Blackberry Bold 9700 and saw that I had received 28 email messages and 8 Facebook notifications.However none of these emails or Facebook notifications was new. They were all ones I had already received that day.
I deleted them all, and guess what - an hour later and they all came back into my email inbox and Facebook notifications.When I went to sleep that night, I woke up with 136 emails and 26 Facebook notifications - ALL OF THEM THE SAME REPEAT EMAILS OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
I have been on forums and tried removing my battery and SIM card (not very technical, that) as well as resending the Service Books after doing this. Nothing has solved this problem though.I really hope someone can help please as I'm seriously thinking of ditching my BlackBerry and buying an iPhone where this problem doesn't occur.
