BB Bold :: 9700 Error 507 Will Not Connect To Application
Oct 23, 2011
I have tried everything I could find.I can not get past "Application loader unable to connect.." while downloading new os 6. Waiting for devise initialization...Reconnecting to JVM...then "Application loader unable to connect.Retry or Cancel.
>one blog said they had to select RETRY dozens of time then final connected...I tried for over an hour :-(
>BBSAK, JL_cmdr & CRACKUtil will not see the devise so I can not attempt to wipe.
>First several attempts with app loader wizard would show PIN UNKNOWN but at some point the PIN started showing up.
>BBDM sees the devise, shows PIN but advises it cannot connect. trying to update OS ends same result as using app load wizard.
>Tried with XP pro & W7.
>USB ports are working fine and set properly to suport during process.
>Tried via cmd.
>battery is good, USB cable is good, various laptop are good.
>No water damage, never dropped & out of warranty
Whenever I restart my phone, the screen has an error message that says there is an error with application (54) and it could not run, how do I know what application (54) is to remove it?
Since upgrading to the latest OS 6.0.0.448 I am unable to use a number of the application. All are downloaded and installed but don't show up on the screen. Themes do not appear even thoug installed. I have pulled the battery numerous times, to no avail. Application Center will not find any application even on Auto Refresh, just displays the Error 404
I can't connect to the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. I tried to do it both on Mac and PC.With the mac, it won't connect at all. Stays at 'connecting', 'waiting for device to start' then says it was disconnected. With the PC. It won't recognize the pin. Its set to usb port. I can't click any icons because theres a message saying something like 'make sure your device is connected'
The contacts in outlook have only my new contact info (1 contact) and the desktop and wireless software want to synchronize with this folder. The sync works between the two devises however it does not recognize the loads of contacts that are on my blackberry devise. I have tried all of the options on the advanced sync option to try toget outlook to download the contact from the Blackberry 9700. How do I get these two to synchronize?
something is killing my bb battery , it hardly lasts for 8 idle hrs and the same battery on another bb will last for around 2 days if not used too much , I had initially installed quite a few apps and thought maybe this was the reason for the weak battery , so i deleted all the apps and still the same . I dont have any apps other than the normal ones running in the background.
another thing is that my bb keeps hanging , esp while locking and unlocking Its like there is a bug or a virus on the bb I also dont see the name of the person calling when the phone is in the holster but when it is out it shows .....
Cant run/install any application except msn chat. why is that? whenever i try to install (clicking the shortcut on the incoming email from bb) i am getting an error message saying that my bb 9700 is not suitable etc. why is that?
I've tried signing into Facebook via my new 9700 and am getting the following error message:Error encountered during XML parse: End tag does not match start tag 'head'.Has anybody else had this message? How do I get around it so I can access my Facebook account?
I downloaded a leaked OTA link for the new Twitter app and after a reboot I get this error message after halfway through booting up - "JUM error 545".I have mac and blackberry desktop manage, but can't see to get it hooked up because it just keeps reading that error message and won't sync with the mac.
So last week or so, my phone took a bit of a swim. I did the usual, put it in rice and let it dry out. Then I turned it on to find it continously rebooting itself. Seeing as how I had no idea what was happening, I brought it to a shop to get it fixed. A week later I got it back and basically it was doing the same thing, only at the end of the reboot cycle the white screen would come up, then repeat. I googled this and saw that my blackberry was "nuked." There was an issue though; my phone had been totally wiped of handheld software. So I redownloaded it, then followed the steps to repairing it. But it would always stop at the second step saying "application loader was unable to connect to the device" when reconnecting to the jvc. Is there anything I can do or is my phone totally done?
I am using Blackberry 9900 smartphone with OS version7.0 Bundle 1346 (V7.0.0.261, Platform 5.0.0.464)and i was initially able to connect to internet via apps and browser but after a while, i am unable to connect to internet via the application in the phone such as Facebook, Twitter, What's App and etc. I try 3G and wifi with no success but weird thing is i am still able to do web browsing via the blackberry native web browser. Have Google and found user with similar problem in the link [URL]The only way that i can able to use the app again is by taking out the battery and put it back to reboot the device. Then i will be able to use it for 5-8 hours where this problem will happen again.

I am trying to upgrade my OS through DM. I went to click upgrade after connecting my 9700, and it pops up "application uploader needs to be upgraded." I tried installing it as it advised, 5 times already and it still pops up the same message. I tried uninstalling and installing DM again with the latest version but it is still happening. Any clues on how to fix this?
mine has around 120mb free wheb purchased new. is this about right. i thought it had twice that? i assume the system takes a bit of it? but then i saw a Internet video and the guys bb is loaded with apps and still got 130mb free. search in Internet "blackberry 9700(onyx) over review". why is that? makes me wonder. is it cuz his is a tester model?
I keep hearing that you can use the Bold as modem for your desktop. The T Mobile said that I need to download the App but I don't know where to get it.

Yeah i know there's a guide to unflag the setting ''disallow etc etc''. from the enterprise server managment. My issue is that i don't have a Enterprise server!
I just bought a blackberry bold 9700 second hand, had a couple of problems with connections but now fixed them all (EVERYTHING works fine, facebook connects, twitter aswell and my email works fine). I just have this ''910- authorization failure '' problem for EACH single application that i try to download either via the browser either from the App World. The only things i have installed got installed within the update and therefore not manually.
Downloaded and installed latest OS for my 9700.On the very last stage "Restore Device Data", my loader stalled and I'm afraid may not complete. Any information on how I can protect my data and the phone's data and how I can restart the loader?
My 9700 application memory is in around the 80 mb range and i can't seem to get the application memory back up. I've tried deleting a whole bunch of applications that i don't use anymore and nothing changed. Can anyone help me get my application memory back up? My phone seems as if it's a bit slower.
Why does desktop manager not allow you to delete off applications you aren't going to use? The ones I'm specifically wanting to delete are in the downloads folder-mobile video, community, music apps, my-cast weather, MobiTV, MusicID, and XMradio. I'd like to get rid of these to free up some space for other applications I will use.
Just bought a new Bold 9700. I've run every kind of update possible. BlackBerry Maps IS loaded (v5.0.0). The operating system is the latest. I can see BlackBerry Maps in the add-on applications, yet there's no icon to start the application. The vendor is utterly useless when it comes to helping resolve the issue. The GPS seems to work and gives the correct location data, yet I can't find a means to start the BlackBerry Maps application.
my fb app suddenly stopped working, when i click on it it says 'we cannot reach the facebook server at this time, please try again later (100)'also bbm wont work - my messages wont even deliver to anyone and no one can send me anything however my web works fine - i went on it and did a google search and it worked, can someone suggest whats going on.
Is there anyway that I can change the icons that appear on my home screen? The ones that are on there, I dont necessarily want on there, and I have looked and looked on my phone's options to see where I can change them, but I have been unable to find the solution.
Your BlackBerry Application Loader needs to be updated before your can continue. Do you want to update now? [Yes / No]
When I click YES, the Desktop Managers starts to download the Application Loader update. Then I am instructed to close the Desktop Manager so the setup can continue. After the setup is complete, the Desktop Manager starts on its own again and directly tries to open Application Loader. And OOPPS !! it tells you again that it needs to be updated !!! I kept doing that for over 5 times! and I am still getting this wierd messages !
Here are some usefully details:
Device: BlackBerry 9700 OS: OS 5 Desktop Manager: 5.0.1 Windows: Windows 7 Ultimate
