my phone turns on and goes straight to "reload system:552" and that message is stuck on my screen, my phone wont do anything else. ive tried downloading the computer software and updating the software but that said i was 2+days into trying to resolve this problem and those steps have gotten me no where, and the desktop software wont fully download it says i need windows xp sp3 or newer and this computer has windows vista.
I was wondering if you could help on on this. I had a password lock on my blackberry bold. Since I entered it wrong 3 times, it wiped my software off and all I have is a white screen that says "Reload Software 513" How can I reload my softward back to my blackberry so I can use my phone.
I am holding a blackeberry bold 9000 phone. The phone got an issue when my nephew played with it and currently it is showing the error as RELOAD SOFTWARE 513.I tried to find a solution and the reinstalling softwares should resolve the issue. My concern now is that I have got plenty of data ,notes, contacts on the phone memory which I do not want to lose.Is there a way to resolve the issue as my work is hampering because the phone has got stuck this moment.
I've got a blackberry 9000 device that I cant seem to reload. My computer (2 of them) have not been able to detect it through Desktop manager 4.6. Some things I've tried were detecting it with Javaloader's USB wipe, but that didn't work as it would not detect. I've tried two separate batteries, still to no avail.
It seems for some reason this blackberry cannot be detected. The device is relatively new, not used for more than a month. I'd love to get this issue resolved with some help.
I have a Blackberry Bold 9000 on Rogers. I was wondering if there was an operating system 5.0 where I can download so I can upgrade my system. I am currently on 4.6
Why can't RIM develop a Bold 9xxx with the body of the Bold 9000 with larger memory, Trackpad, better camera? They've done it with the Tour and Curve. Plus they've got all the parts available already, just need a little engineering to fit the trackpad and everything else. C'mon RIM. We know you can do it. I'm sure you'd sell millions of them.
Quick question. I am starting a new Job and they are getting me a superbasic Perl. I need this for work and so I will be forking some dough out of my pocket to get one of the two following phones: Bold 9000 (I'll pay 100$ Canadian, not Us) Curve 8530 (pay 24.99$ Canadian). I am very used to the Iphone and HTC Touch Pro 2 (not trying to start a flaming/argument/anything else , its just what i'm used to). I am very used to browsing with the other phones and I have heard that BB phones are not up to par, so my expectations will be low. Out of the two phones however, does one perform better than the other (Curve 8530 vs Bold 9000)? Out of the two phones, which one do you recommend overall. I have read that the Bold 9000 even though it is older, it still outperforms the 8530...
I dropped my BlackBerry Bold 9000 on the weekend and damaged the LCD screen. The device still works, but two thirds of the LCD is now white and there's what looks like an inkblot on the left side of the screen. I'd like to try to fix it, but don't really want to shell out a lot of $ to do so --- I'm a month away from upgrading.Does anyone have any suggestions, or perhaps a dead BlackBerry with a working screen that you're willing to part with? A DIY repair -- this is out of warranty anyway -- looks straightforward, but I'm not sure I want to spend the $100 or so for a new OEM part to replace the LCD screen.
Ok so i have had a BlackBerry Bold 9700 for nearlly a month now and i came in from work today sent a few SMS messages locked my phone as normal and put it back in its pouch the next time i go to send a text my screen is white with a picture above some text saying "Reload Software:507" ive also read up that i have to install new software, However i also read that i have to back up my phone and when trying to do this it lets me select my phone and thats it, it does not back up my phone. I am very worried that i will have to get a new phone + lose all my contacts and messages that i have stored on my phone.
i own a blackberry bold 9700 OS 6 , lately every time i try to write messages or anything in Arabic this message appers " input system error - the system is being restarted " this never happened before with me .
I have a bold 9000 and I can not connect to the internet. Carrier is AT&T and I live in the North East (NYC area). Worked fine up until yesterday (Jan 25). Now gmail, facebook, browser - none work. I've tried the battery pull, turning on/off the network, run a diagnostic test from mobile network options. In the mobile network test i get the volling anomolies "Blackberry PIN-PIN: No" and it says can't connect to my email (gmail).
A few days ago I pulled my phone out of the holster and It was really hot and when i looked at it i realized it was off, and wouldnt turn back on. just a red light comes on like normal upon a battery pull but after it turns off the red light comes back on again once more then stays off for good. unless i plug it in then it comes on and goes off all the time. I got it powered back up yesterday but then it did it again. Today I plugged it in and I saw a picture of a battery come up on the screen showing it as empty, i was hoping that meant it might charge up. but no such luck. My main objective is just to get the phone up long enough to back up the info on the phone.
Please any help right now would be fantastic. So initially I had the JVM error 102 which I cleared by using JL_comand and wiping the hand held which has now left me with the 507 error.
I have desktop manager and I just downloaded the newest operating software from the carrier I am using (However the phone is unlocked) . I did delete the vendor file from the application folder like it says to do on most posts...
My issue is right here.. after plugging in the device (which is not recognized) ...I proceed to the application loader. It tells me that "No software is available for your device" I am currently using desktop manager v5.0.1.
Got my first Blackberry, a 9700, last week, and installed the desktop software yesterday. It suggested I did an update, so I did. Everything appeared to go well, no problems, and the phone rebooted OK, and appeared to be functioning OK, and I've received emails and text messages, and made and received calls OK since then.....until this afternoon. Was sitting there, the phone in it's pouch, and I noticed the red light flashing. I thought I had received an email or something that I had missed, so, take the phone out of the pouch, and notice it's rebooting. And, yes, you guessed, it the message 'Reload Software 507' sitting prettily in the middle of the screen against a white background.
Any ideas as to what to do from here on? I guess I'm going to try and reload software, as suggested, from the desktop program. Any hints or tips would be appreciated at this point in time. I have tried pulling the battery, and waiting 30 seconds, but makes no difference.
i try to download the new software my comp is telling me that i cant trust the site i'm trying to downloading from?? and i tried to plug my phn into my laptop and that wont even do anything either, its stuck on the white screen with that little msg saying Error 507..
Following a re-download of the desktop software for a Bold 9700 - which appears to have been successful - on connecting the handset, I get a dialogue box saying 'initializing device'. However this just runs and runs (for over an hour!). I've tried resetting the handset by taking the battery out but no joy. The PC definitely recognises the phone. Another post for a similar (though not identical issue) suggests that the sim card may have failed?
Don't know what happened but my internet and BBM stopped working so I decided to do a soft reset (alt+Rshift+del). Upon loading, I get JVM Error 102, and will no longer boot into the OS. From reading some stuff here, it seems I now have to do a complete wipe to restore the BB.My questions is this, I haven't added any new software in a long time, why would this error just pop up out of no where? Should I get a replacement phone from T-Mobile or just try to reload the OS again?
I'm no beginner when it comes to updating BB O.S but I got stunned here a bit. Using BBSAK I wiped the device and then tried to Load OS > it failed to communicated with my device as it was stuck on that screen and green bar not moving anywhere. So I cancelled and tried loading the OS again this time it gave me a error connecting to "boot ROM" so I unplugged BB and restarted the computer, now the Windows 7 is not recognizing USB or not detecting it. i tried common files > rim > loader.exe but it won't recognize PIN, there is no OS on BB
My computer crashed recently. I reinstalled outlook, but wasn't able to reload the pst file and had to set up a new profile. Naturally there were no contacts. I did a one way sync from my BBB to Outlook, and all contacts were restored. That was yesterday's excitement. This morning I went to do a sync, and it now wants me to ADD all of those contacts again. I certainly don't want to duplicate all of that. I rejected the sync at this point to see if any here has an idea or a solution.
I had my yahoo email account set up on my BB Bold 9930, with it's own icon. Suddenly, it is gone. I do have a separate email account on an enterprise server. Both were running fine for months.
1. I tried going to my email>options>email account management>set up email account
The account is now listed as existing, but the emails (or icon) are not showing anywhere on my BB. Emails are not showing up in the main email inbox.I also marked SHOW ALL ICONS and also looked in all folders for a separate Yahoo icon like I had before. Nothing.
2. I tried downloading a Yahoo mail app
I cannot find any that do not give me a "app not compatible with BB 9930"
