I did all and phone stucked on installing applications or something like that first update android 40/40 and after that stucked i resterted went to recovery mode and try wipe then i got error samsung galaxy s6 failed to mount preload . Can this be sorted anyway plus knox is showing 0x1 .

However, when the installer gets to "Installing 2 of 6" it fails and gives the message "Installation Failed" followed by "To continue this installation later, select this icon in your application menu".
I have Googled and Googled and haven't managed to find a solution that doesn't require me to install a modified version of Symbian. Nothing else, including uninstalling and reinstalling the installer has worked.

When ever i try to install Qt apps on my phone, it ask me for installing the package but the installation stops during ' preparing installation' and does not go through ' finalising installation'. After this i does find the nokia smart installer icon but when i click on it, it says ' no installation pending'. I can also find the application in application manager but can't find its icon anywhere. Some Qt apps does install properly but many including wellness diary, nokia drop, etc doesn't install. My device is Nokia X6 16 GB and i have latest firmware and all Qt components installed on my device.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've got this wonderful N96 phone, lately it has developed a problem, the phone works just fine when I restart it. But as I open more applications, the phone gets a bit slower, mostly I use opera mini, that might be normal because the memory is limited, but closing the applications doesn't help. After using the phone for a few hours, there comes a point when it would just kinda hang, the clock display on the upper right corner disappears, I can access the menu but when I try to open an application, nothing happens, I have to restart the phone to make it work again. This happens 7 or 8 times a day, and its annoying because the phone stops responding when I need it the most, like using a dictionary, opera mini and fring at the same time. Even if I close those apps, it won't help, it needs a restart.

You can just about see another dialog beneath the swype installation dialog , and you can see the bottom of an "OK" button.It looks like the swype installation is waiting for the user to press OK before it can proceed, but you cannot, because the "Preparing to install" is on top, and you cannot see enough of the OK button to press it.Holding the menu button does not result in seeing any running apps which you could quit.
If I take out the memory card, everything's find. But obviously, I want to use my memory card.If I restart, I get the same problem. If I take out the card and put it back in again, I get the same problem.How can I get round this? Can I disable the swype installation somehow? (I don't use Swype anyway..
Every time I turn my E72 on I get the message "Installing Applications from memory card". After a while it fails.I know I have to delete some files from the memory card to correct this but I forget which ones. Can someone help me?

I also did I hard rest, reinstalled PC SUITE. The only way phone "talks" to the PC is via bluetooth but the only wo updates software is via usb cable.Please help.

Download Maps to your desktop or an easily accessible folder on your computer.

Install Maps using Nokia Ovi Suite e.g. double click on the Maps installer file. Finish the installation on your mobile. When I double click (with Ovi Suite open), windows cannot detect which program with which to open the software. I cannot see any option in Ovi Suite to open the software either. Have I missed something? Apologies if this is a obvious problem - I have searched and found related problems, but none of the fixes I have tried have worked. I've have tried going through the Ovi store on my phone, but when trying to login, I get a 'resource does not exist' message.

I have tried to install numerous times, with and without restarting the machine., but get the same unsuccessful results. For now I have to do with the Nokia PC Suite which was successfully installed, but I really look forward to using the OVI.

I haven't had the need to install any new apps for a while, but when I recently tried installing one, it failed. I've updated all software and there's enough space on the phone for the application(s) I wanted to install, yet it doesn't work.When I've purchased an application, it goes to install it, only to stop installing it after about 3-5 seconds without giving any notice or a reason why. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a nokia 5800 Nav. Edition. Here is step by step issues I am facing with the phone:
1. Whenever I go to OVI Store it gives me a message saying that an Update is available and I need to install it before going forward. So when I click on Update button it takes me to several screens and finally Outpus saying that "Unable to start the operation. Installer is in use already."
2. In order to solve this issue I went through some of the discussion and found out that in order to get this problem addressed i need to follow the steps to Open the file manager and remove the Memory Card followed by Removing the Card physically.
3. This is when I realized that for some reason my memory card is stuck inside, so when I press it the dock seems to be releasing it but it refuses to come out completely.
4. Despite removing the memory card and undocking it I am still not able to apply the update to Ovi Store but this time the error message is different. Here are the steps:
a. I go to file manager and remove the memory card.
b. I undock it physically.
c. I start the Ovi Store and click on Update.
d. It goes through several screens as above and finally asks for Installation (this did not happen when Mem card was in).
e. It starts the installer but then aborts it saying "Update Error".
