My iPhone has recorded a video with no sound, I have fixed the problem and can now record with sound but the video with no sound is sentimental, is there any way of restoring the sound? It's a .mov file?
I record video using the camcorder app. I playback video and the audio has a high pitched whine / whistle or sound layered over the background audio. Sometimes the whine gets louder and sometimes lower but its aways there. Its very annoying sounding and seems like either feedback or interference or something. Anyone else experiencing this?I've tried various resolutions and zooming in and out, and lowering the volume all the way prior to entering the app (because you can't get any feedback on volume adjustment once in the app) and nothing i've tried seems to get rid of the sound. I have also tried the 3 "audio scenes" "Everyday" setting seems to be the worst, outdoors the best.
my husband has an iphone 4 and he records video of our daughter sometimes and emails them to me. I have problems watching them in the xperia x10. I can watch the videos but i can't hear the sound even when i turn up the volume.
I'm uploading all my pics and videos to my computer today and I set it to delete them off my phone after they are uploaded to the computer. I finish that. Then I unplug my my phone and go to camera roll. There is a video over an hour long that was filmed from my phones camera! You can see me picking up the phone, using it, setting it down, putting it in my pocket or on my leg, talking to others in the room etc. I absolutely was not in the camera app the whole time - I was doing other things. The phone has never been jailbroken or altered in any way.
In some of my recorded videos there's an audio hickup when I play them back. The length of this hickup is just a split of a second. The image of the video doesn't have a hickup and continues playing.
I have a HTC one M7 and I was recording a video on my phone but when I clicked stop it said it was saving but then my phone froze and shut off. When I look in my gallery it shows the video is there but I can't play the video. Every time I click the video it says "Warning: media file type not supported". I've uploaded the video to my computer and it still won't play.
i am thinking about taking either my phone or my dslr on a trip to make steady & moving shots on a monopod. I'd prefer to only take my lumia with me but I wouldnt mind to go with the dslr if the quality was much better. That's why I want to know how those two devices compare in terms of overall video quality. The sound will be recorded using an external mic.
I recorded a 2 minute video with the BB without issues but when I tried to play it back, I received the message 'the media being played is of an unsupported format'.,The recorded video has a .3gp file extension, rather than an mp4, why? .3gp is not listed as a supported video file. the media card is a 32gb sdhc card I just formatted and saved music and pictures to without problems. What is happening here? Is the phone recording in a format that is cannot play? Can the video recording format be changed, say to mp4? I have no problems playing you tube videos etc., its only the recorded videos.
There is a demo video on the phone in mp4 and it plays fine. Will appreciate your advice. Anne PS I just shot another 30sec video and the phone completely froze when I tried to play it. Took out battery to get it going again. Still receiving the same message
When trying to play back a video recorded on my phone, I get the error message "Unable to play video. File has incorrect data." I am trying to play it back with the stock video player. I have downloaded the MX player, and it will play back there, but not with the stock player. How to get it to play on the stock player?
I only noticed this issue when sending a video to a friend last week. I thought it was just an error with that specific recording but I just recorded another one and there is no sound whatsoever. Instead it's all just very loud static noise. I've only had this phone since around early December.
So I just got a new SD card for my Galaxy S5. SanDisk 32GB micro. It's set up on my phone to save my pictures and videos I take to the card. It works great so far, shot lots of pictures and video over the weekend and they view and play back flawlessly on my phone.
When I got home however I uploaded the files to my computer, but the videos only play sound. The videos file type still shows mp4. The pictures are fine.
When I view previously recorded videos on my PC from my phone from BEFORE I got the SD card, they view normally with full audio/visual playback.
I'm using Windows Media Player.
Ergo it's obviously something with the new card. Codec perhaps?
I have problem with videos RECORDED BY Nokia 5800XM, during the recording picture freezes every 5-6, sometimes every 10 seconds. During the playback is same situation, screen freezes but audio continues. Then video arrives audio and after few seconds freezes again and audio continues.

I get a video format unsupported error.I think this method worked fine before so I don't know what gives.Anyone have any ideas on what I can do to get em workin? My os is 4.7.157 for sprint
Recently bought a Xperia Z3+. How come when I record a 4K video and then try to play it back does it come up with the error message 'unable to find URL'
Do you need to use the Internet to view a video you have recorded yourself if it is in 4K if so how come?
And why is it not using my Internet because I have unlimited data but I am downloading something at the moment does this prevent the video getting the URL if it needs it.
On my G3 I had the option of trimming videos which I had recorded. I can't remember if I ever had this functionality on my N5 (kitkat), but on my new N6 there's no such option. The edit option in the Photos app doesn't do anything with videos. Is this the same for everyone, and if so, what are you using to trim video footage.
What has happened to my slo Mo?? I can record video and it says slo Mo but when I go to watch it is just standard speed. Same with previously saved slow motion videos.
I recorded a video on my samsung s5 and really need to remove the conversation in the background. I am hoping there is a way to easily do this. All I need to do is just erase the sound so I can share the video.
Mini Pro Owner, never rooted, never used cooked roms! Everything original. After updating to latest kernel my phone reset the 99% of times when I play a video filmed by the camera!
If I shoot some video, I cannot access that new footage until I have rebooted and if I try it stops any of the video being playable until a reboot occurs.
I was going to try a faster class 10 SD first. I think class 6 should be the minimum for HD movies.
The quality and sound is superb, but it's just slightly out of sync. The video is about 14 minutes in length and is 1.10GB in size. On playback on the phone, it sometimes stutters (like the music stutter) and drops frames, but watch it from a computer with the file still on the SD card, and it plays flawlessly. I know the Tegra 2 is capable of 1080p encoding/decoding, so it should have no issues with 720p. What did Motorola do to this thing?
Didn't notice that every video I record after my last update , can only record audio and video the first minute or less and then for some reason playback stops but you can still listen to audio. This has happened to all my recorded videos.
Read somewhere on the internet that you have to delete DATA and clear CACHE on the Camera app, have not recorded any video since then, but will try to see if this works.
I'm a new DX2 owner and having several problems with the phone. First, When I reboot, any app I've placed on a home screen that has been moved to the SD card/media area comes up as the default settings icon (blue gear icon) but appear correctly in the app drawer. Second, When I record video it is pixilated and choppy on play back with parts of the video actually missing. I understand we're all waiting for Gingerbread and bugs may exist but, to me, the video issue is a real problem because it basically means I can't count on video working and therefore have to use another device (go XOOM) for video recording.
