my husband has an iphone 4 and he records video of our daughter sometimes and emails them to me. I have problems watching them in the xperia x10. I can watch the videos but i can't hear the sound even when i turn up the volume.

Do you need to use the Internet to view a video you have recorded yourself if it is in 4K if so how come?
And why is it not using my Internet because I have unlimited data but I am downloading something at the moment does this prevent the video getting the URL if it needs it.
Mini Pro Owner, never rooted, never used cooked roms! Everything original. After updating to latest kernel my phone reset the 99% of times when I play a video filmed by the camera!

I'm uploading all my pics and videos to my computer today and I set it to delete them off my phone after they are uploaded to the computer. I finish that.Then I unplug my my phone and go to camera roll. There is a video over an hour long that was filmed from my phones camera! You can see me picking up the phone, using it, setting it down, putting it in my pocket or on my leg, talking to others in the room etc. I absolutely was not in the camera app the whole time - I was doing other things. The phone has never been jailbroken or altered in any way.

i have an issue with my torch 9800 locking itself while im watching videos from the phone or on Internet. i have a password set on my phone and told it to lock itself after 1 minute but surely the phone should know im doing something that i need to see the screen for and not lock itself?is there a way to fix this without turning the password off or the auto lock time?

Is this an issue with the OS, or bad hardware so I know if I should exchange the device.
About a week ago my phone started having an issue with the video player. When I watch a video or movie, I lose all controls. I have to lock the screen and then unlock it real fast for the controls to pop up, but they go away within a second and I am back to no controls. I cleared the cache on the video player, force stopped it and rebooted it, the phone reboots on it's own all the time so that is taken care of. It is really annoying not even being able to change the screen brightness now.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI was given my nokia lumia 800 as a Christmas present last year so I've had it 9 months now as up until this problem its been a great phone. Yesterday I went to watch a video and there was no sound, I checked the volume settings, made sure the volume was up to fall and I even reset my phone. If I put my ear the speaker I can just about hear it. If I make a phone call I can hear the other person fine but if I put them on loud speaker I can't so its the speaker on the bottom of the phone.

When I look in my gallery it shows the video is there but I can't play the video. Every time I click the video it says "Warning: media file type not supported". It's the border with the 3 dots on the right which indicate home, back, and previous tasks button, and the top border with the time and everything.. It's annoying because it blocks some of the video of there something going on on the top or right side. Sometimes I can sail it away and it'll go away. Other times its stuck there..

View 4 Replies View RelatedI recorded a 2 minute video with the BB without issues but when I tried to play it back, I received the message 'the media being played is of an unsupported format'.,The recorded video has a .3gp file extension, rather than an mp4, why? .3gp is not listed as a supported video file. the media card is a 32gb sdhc card I just formatted and saved music and pictures to without problems. What is happening here? Is the phone recording in a format that is cannot play? Can the video recording format be changed, say to mp4? I have no problems playing you tube videos etc., its only the recorded videos.
There is a demo video on the phone in mp4 and it plays fine. Will appreciate your advice. Anne
PS I just shot another 30sec video and the phone completely froze when I tried to play it. Took out battery to get it going again. Still receiving the same message

View 7 Replies View Relatedever since the 2.3.4. update i found my button hard buttons stay lit when watching videos. they used to time out after a min or two but now never time out. is this normal now and is there a way to shut them off when watching videos at night. it is annoying that they stay lit especially at night. i do not have the dx2 in a doc when watching the videos. just have it on wifi and watching cnet tv and Internet stuff.

I can't remember if I ever had this functionality on my N5 (kitkat), but on my new N6 there's no such option. The edit option in the Photos app doesn't do anything with videos. Is this the same for everyone, and if so, what are you using to trim video footage.
