LG G3 :: Screen Flickered And Shut Down While Watching YouTube Video
Mar 26, 2015
I was recently watching a YouTube video in my room and suddenly my phone stopped the screen flicker'd 3 times and shut down, now it wont come back on even when i plug it into the charger...????!
So, how to get it working again? without taking it to the ATT store...? since it shutoff and won't come back on my Snap chat, Hot or not, Facebook, and all my numbers are basically Gone if this doesn't work
Just been wondering about the stupid border around the screen when watching a YouTube video in landscape mode. It's the border with the 3 dots on the right which indicate home, back, and previous tasks button, and the top border with the time and everything.. It's annoying because it blocks some of the video of there something going on on the top or right side. Sometimes I can sail it away and it'll go away. Other times its stuck there..
Is there a specific setting to disable it, or a certain gesture?
So I have had my AT&T G4 since last June and it's worked perfectly fine. Suddenly tonight as I was just watching YouTube my phone froze and shut down. I tried taking out the battery and it won't turn back on at all. The LG screen shows up and then it loops a bit before going dark and the power button won't work. Not until I replace the battery again. And the cycle begins anew. Sometimes the white AT&T screen shows, but still nothing. Once I got it to a screen that was optimizing apps I think. But that quickly failed.
I haven't factory reset yet because I do not want to loose my information and I don't know if I even have a back up. I don't know what to do and I can't be without my phone.
This is only a problem in the stock browser. When I hit the play button the video starts to load but never plays and then just shows the replay screen/related videos screen that usually comes up after watching a video.
when watching tv apps on my IPhone 4S it keeps going blurry streming fast enough but still blurry any ideas anyone or should i be sending it back its one direct from apple so unlocked but running on 3 .
I listen to a great deal of podcasts, audiobooks and music on youtube. Oftentimes I want to work and listen at the same time, so I will put my phone in my jacket/pants/table while I work, but sometimes I will bump the screen while working and it stops the YouTube video or makes it jump ahead/back.
i have an issue with my torch 9800 locking itself while im watching videos from the phone or on Internet. i have a password set on my phone and told it to lock itself after 1 minute but surely the phone should know im doing something that i need to see the screen for and not lock itself?is there a way to fix this without turning the password off or the auto lock time?
I purchased my AT&T branded Lumia 950 last Friday from the Microsoft Store. When watching videos triggered from both the browser (YouTube) and apps (i.e. Disney Jr) my phone will sporadically restart.
Is this an issue with the OS, or bad hardware so I know if I should exchange the device.
About a week ago my phone started having an issue with the video player. When I watch a video or movie, I lose all controls. I have to lock the screen and then unlock it real fast for the controls to pop up, but they go away within a second and I am back to no controls. I cleared the cache on the video player, force stopped it and rebooted it, the phone reboots on it's own all the time so that is taken care of. It is really annoying not even being able to change the screen brightness now.
my husband has an iphone 4 and he records video of our daughter sometimes and emails them to me. I have problems watching them in the xperia x10. I can watch the videos but i can't hear the sound even when i turn up the volume.
I was given my nokia lumia 800 as a Christmas present last year so I've had it 9 months now as up until this problem its been a great phone. Yesterday I went to watch a video and there was no sound, I checked the volume settings, made sure the volume was up to fall and I even reset my phone. If I put my ear the speaker I can just about hear it. If I make a phone call I can hear the other person fine but if I put them on loud speaker I can't so its the speaker on the bottom of the phone.
I am trying to find out which of the follwing uses the most data or if it is the same: Watching a sporting event on the app Watch ESPN on the phone or using the phone as a hot spot and viweing the event on my laptop?
I have an iPhone 4s and an apple id popup that asks me for my apple id password keeps popping up whenever I play a game, text, or watch a video. I've already tried logging out of and back into my apple id but it still pops up. What should I do?
ever since the 2.3.4. update i found my button hard buttons stay lit when watching videos. they used to time out after a min or two but now never time out. is this normal now and is there a way to shut them off when watching videos at night. it is annoying that they stay lit especially at night. i do not have the dx2 in a doc when watching the videos. just have it on wifi and watching cnet tv and Internet stuff.
I have got the Sony Xperia Z5 premium and I am trying to watch 4K videos in the YouTube app, I have enabled the filter to find 4K videos, which I know definitely run in 4K on a desktop computer, however I don't have the option to change the resolution to 4K within the YouTube app, it only goes up to 1080p.
I have a Nexus 6 running 6.0.1 now, and am subscribed to Google Music, Red, and all that comes with it.
My issue is, after the App & OS updated, my saved offline videos have just recently gone into playing the next video automatically. So for instance, if I want to fall asleep at night watching a single 45 minute video, the whole darn list will play, and sooner or later, it gets to that head banging music video, and I wake up.
I just got my S5 yesterday. When viewing a video in YouTube, the video will ALWAYS hang at 30 second intervals (not exact, but close). Pull up any video, hit play, everything is fine and stutter-free, but then at 30 seconds the video freezes (audio continues). If I move the timeline position cursor, the video continues again, but will freeze up again after another 30 seconds. It does this every time without fail.
The specific solutions (the few that seem to work for the person posting) don't apply to the S5).
I've just got a new Z3 with Lollipop pre-installed and found that YouTube playback via the default app is choppy/stuttery. I tried factory resets/ updating the YouTube app/clearing cache/turning the x-reality engine on/off, but of no avail.
The videos play perfectly fine on my much older Xperia s, so pretty sure this not on the YouTube end.
Since buying the phone (couple weeks ago), I haven't been able to steam any videos on HD (720P and above) without the video buffering numerous times. I streamed movies from Google Play Movies and Netflix. I don't know if the resolution is going down to allow me to stream the videos, but I'm getting very frustrated. My LTE is full, never had a problem in my area with other phones. It's hardly better on Wi-Fi
Getting video playback issues on their 6p? YouTube plays at like 1-5 frames per second. I tried watching a movie with MX player and same thing. VLC player plays movies normally, but the audio is gone.
So i recently found out how to change the video quality on youtube... but is there anyway to make a default setting for it? Rather than having to change the setting on every video...
