Dec 6, 2014I have set up an email account on my iPhone. Every time an email comes in an alarm sounds. I don't want that. How do I turn the alarm off?

Jun 29, 2010I have three custom files I have created or saved and always used on all of my phones.I have these in the folder "Music" in iTunes, but I cannot figure out how to set them to their respective assignments.I have read the help file that says you have to "Buy" custom ringtones. Does that mean even mp3's that you already have like I do? How do I make these 3 work as Ringtone, Alarm and Alert on iPhone 4? NOTE: I don't actually have the phone yet and do not know how it interacts with iTunes, but I do have iTunes setup and music/movies loaded into it.

I'm on the latest insider build and firmware.

Nov 14, 2011set up some type of alarm, it's not the regular clock alarm nor the calendar alarm, to go off at 6:00 am. This alarm can't be turn off at all. I press and hold the start botton, turn off the cell, and turn it back on. Still the phone alarm continues to beep. I can't remember how or where I programmed this alarm to reset it back off. The only way I can turn it off is by removing the battery.

I have vibration strength down to nothing on all notifications, but it still does it. Under the heading 'Notifications', I do not have the option of a check box to turn off the notification sounds.All I have is a drop down menu entitled, "Notification Ringtone". Within this menu, I have the options "Android System", "Handcent SMS" and "Zedge ringtones". None of these allow me the option of silencing the phones notification sounds.
What is happening is that I'm getting a double 'notification' tone every time I get a text, and it's driving me crazy. I get an overall notification beep from the phone, then a secondary tone from the Handcent app. And I really want to silence ALL of the phones overall notification sounds, and only receive the ones from the Handcent app when I get a text.

Jan 1, 2010I can't turn off my alarm on my blackberry. I don't think i turned it on, the alarm symbol just showed up next to my clock. I don't used it, so i was confused. This is a picture of what the alarm looks like:
Ive never seen that symbol before. I turn on the daily alarm, it doesn't turn on it just stays the same. Turn it to off, it won't go away. I tried everything i could think of including taking out the battery. it will NOT go away! its going to drive me crazy if my phone goes off at 3 pm every day!

It shows up on the screen when in the clock and it looks like a phone (on the bottom right side when in clock mode). Its not the same as the usual clock alarm which looks like a clock . Can't figure out where to turn this thing off at and its driving us nuts!

But then I accidentally hit the voice commands button and the phone started talking. You can turn them off in the settings for the camera. On my W995 there is no option for the shutter sounds to be off there is only 4 sounds to choose from. I am sure that there should be a fifth option for off but its not there. How do i turn them off? I got 10 days cooling off period on my contract and this, along with a day of wifi problems, will mean the phone will be going back if there is no resolution for it.
