It has a been over a year when my iphone battery drained to 0, and when it happened again few days ago; my iPhone won't turn back on or even charge
I've tried to reset, pressing both buttons,....... but the iphone doesn't response, so I thought that it's might be the battery.
I put the battery of my sister's iPhone (same model) and it works ! So I waited for it to discharge with the new battery and the same problem happened!
Since I have ios 5.1, the battery is discharged way too fast. I hate this and do not think it is the best phone if not it can be used when more need, that the battery is discharged before the end of the day.

It's been 3-4 months that I have brought iPhone5S. I am also facing overheating and bettery dranage issue with my iPhone5S. It's getting damm hot and restart it self. once my phone shutdown in this scenario, it never started till all of my bettery is not drained. After that I need to charge the bettery again and my phone is started. I have faced this issue twicely in last week.Â
If I am tying to start my iPhone during this situation then some weared screen shown on the iPhone. Sometime it shows apple logo with half yellow and white screen while sometimes it shows startup screen and then never started. My iPhone continuously being hotter untill my whole bettery is not discharged.Â

Battery is getting discharged fully with in 12 hours. I tried changing the battery but the problem still exists. I took the phone to the concerned dealer who said that there is nothing wrong in phone and returned back the same. I am located in Kuwait in middle east.

I may have reset to defaults during my attempts to connect, I am not sure what happened. My wife has the same blackberry and connects just fine. My phone sees the router, but it shows a WAP security deal. When I try to set it up-there is no WPA option. It tells me the blackberry will enter a PIN, but it never does.

It's my boyfriend's iPhone & we've dropped it plenty of times in the past going on 6 months now, so you can imagine it has plenty of cracks & the back had come off to where we taped it back on. Recently - a few days to a week ago I dropped it & it seemed fine until I tried taking a picture of our cats and the camera opened to a black screen. Everything else works fine except the speaker when we call out we have to put it on speaker for someone to hear us - already tried cleaning out all the ports. I don't want him to go to the iPhone store and have them complain about all the issues wrong with the phone and go extreme bill on him either. Yes I have tried restarting his phone, I just don't want to completely reboot it when it's under his mom's account & her iCloud. & The front facing camera works.

I dropped it under a running sink 3 weeks ago. Its been in rice since. Ive tried turing it on but it just stays on an apple logo. Now there a pieace of rice stuck in the charger hole so i can't connect to anything. I took it to apple the guy said since its water damaged $150 for a replacement. But ive heard that if i just say it wont turn on and not mention the water they'll replace it for free. Also the liquid indicators in the adaptor and headphone jack both havent turned red well it still looks white so... also it still under warranty. ^^^Please READ first^^^Will they be able to find out that its water damaged? I understand the maps don't support turn by turn voice guiding at this stage, but I thought ovi maps would at least be able to show a driving view instead of a birds eye view for navigation...Might be a bit of a lamens question, but if anyone could shed some light, I'd appreciate it. I'm in Australia and Sygic is not available. I'd purchase it if it was available.

Once in BB Maps, click on the Start GPS Navigation, then the BB button, and choose track up. I put the zoom on 2 and it makes for a pretty good voice turn by turn free GPS.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIt has previously glitched when turning on, but it always does turn on. It's fully charged, I had it charging all night and in the morning it worked fine. I was turning in on and off a couple time during the day and it started fine. Went to turn in on later and nothing happened. Nothing lit up or anything. I took out the battery and put it back in and nothing. I tried charging it for hours and still nothing. I've only had it about 5 months and the battery seems fine.
