I went to the beach and took a bunch of photos with my friends and the next day i plugged my phone into the computer to sync music. I clicked something that that had to do with backing up or transferring data. My phone shut off and when it turned back on, i had pictures from april that i took on my previous iPhone 4. I thought it would transfer music on to my new phone instead of wiping out my current data. I did not have photo stream turned on, but is there anyway i can get my beach pictures back?

I just wanted to find out the downloads such as files i had on my phone. My only concern is that i dont want to restore the update on my mobile. I just want to be able to click it and it display the content on the computer without connecting my BB to the PC. Does anyone know of a way of being able to acheive this without destroying my back ups?

I have a first generation Touch, that has a flat back and it's harder to comfortably hold in my hand compared to the rounded back of my iPhone 3G. I tried to download a ringtone and my phone then told me it needed to restore because of the updates. I transferred my purchases over but stupidly didn't make a back up. After restorting I realised the most recent back up I had was for April. So I used that back up. However does anybody know whether it is possible, in any way, for me to get my phone restored back to just before it decided to restore. I've tried looking through the forums but have had no luck.

Yesterday I updated my iPhone software and changed my Apple ID password.Then last night when sending a messege to my ex girlfriend and good friend, the messege sent through fine. However she text back shocked and asked why i had sent her an aggressive and insulting text. She sent me the messege I had supposedly sent her. The first half of the messege was normal but then the second half was someone else's abusive words. Also they insulted me by making comments about my photos. I'm completely confused, worried and paranoid about what has happened. Has someone intercepted the messege and edited it? Has someone hacked my phone? I have never heard of anything like this. I have turned off my phone and changed my password again.

Basically I had synced 'my pictures' to my IPhone and want to put these pictures back on my PC, how do I do this?I had syned my photos from a folder on my computer so they appear on my IPhone in the folders I had set up. first off, something strange happened Nov 20, 2011 because that is the day my voicemail stopped working. ATT and APPLE could not figure out how to solve the problem - so I just had no voicemail until yesterday.
My iphone 4s' volume button broke, so I took it into the APPLE store to get a new phone. I backed up before I took the phone in, because I was pretty sure they would replace my phone - which they did
When I restored the phone to the 'most recent' back up, I lost ALL the data on my phone after Nov 20, 2011. All my texts, all the data about my baby that I have been keeping in a baby app - basically any app info. Even my camera roll reverted back to the way it was on Nov 20. (fortunately I had saved my pics to iphoto - so nothing really lost there)
I don't understand where all the info went when I backed up RIGHT before I went to the apple store.
I have looked on my computer and found the back up file, but I don't know what to do with the info in there. Oddly, I can't find a back up for 4/2/12 - the day I did the back up, but there are several back ups in March.. which would be better than the NOV back up.
