BB Curve :: How To Retrieve Blackberry Back Ups On Computer

I have around 6 blackberry back ups for my bold and curve blackberry phones, on the pc i click on it but it doesnt display the content. I just wanted to find out the downloads such as files i had on my phone. My only concern is that i dont want to restore the update on my mobile. I just want to be able to click it and it display the content on the computer without connecting my BB to the PC. Does anyone know of a way of being able to acheive this without destroying my back ups?

I have a question regarding Past BBM messages. Can I recover or retrieve my past messages from my service provider? I share My AT&T& account with my business partner. As in our numbers are in the company name though we use different numbers and handsets. I am tensed if she tries to read my personal messages and bbms. I have looked around online but failed to get any reliable answer.

I have a BB Bold 9300 with a large number of photos I have taken over a period of time. When I look at the BB after connecting with my computer and using BB software I can only see 104 pictures. When I look directly at the BB and go to the "media" icon, there are many more photos. How can I transfer all the photos to my computer?

i am taking the back up of all the files through the desktop software and it is getting save in one folder named Blackberry. but i am not able to retrieve the fileswhen i m opening the files ,something 2 is coming, not the readable material. I recently bought an iPhone 5c and i love it. I went to the beach and took a bunch of photos with my friends and the next day i plugged my phone into the computer to sync music. I clicked something that that had to do with backing up or transferring data. My phone shut off and when it turned back on, i had pictures from april that i took on my previous iPhone 4. I thought it would transfer music on to my new phone instead of wiping out my current data. I did not have photo stream turned on, but is there anyway i can get my beach pictures back?
