Jul 1, 2014Trying to upgrade my 4s this morning and it is frozen with an itunes symbol and a plug in symbol, powering it down will not make it go away?

May 20, 2012I tried to fix the problem by follow the suggestion on the internet by press and hold "home" for 2 seconf then press home and power for 10 secs. Then continue pressing home for 30 mins but it is not work for me. After doing this for several times, now I cannot even turn on my i4s.

BB Bold :: 9700 Frozen After Upgrade To OS6?
Oct 8, 2011The trackpad on my Bold 9700 stopped working last night. It scrolled but would not register being pressed. Followign advice elsewhere on this site, I downloaded the desktop manager and backed up the device, then installed a new operating system (version 6).
Now nothing on the BB is working. It is stuck on the terms and conditions screen that starts "This handheld device includes software that it proprietary and confidential to Research In Motion Limited. . ." I can see there is a blue arrow at the bottom, implying I need to scroll down and accept the terms and conditions, but as none of the keyboard is responding, I can't do this.

Nov 2, 2011I've been using my BB Bold 9700 for a long time now...have not had a single problem with it. Yesterday desktop manager suggested i upgrade from OS5 to 6...since i did this my phone refuses to start up, it goes no further than the blackberry loading screen. i suppose i need to downgrade back to OS5, but my phone wont even connect to my computer. tried hard booting, soft booting and resetting device, as well as using the "alt+shift+delete" and even double delete shortcut.

May 1, 2012this morning I have attempted to upgrade the software on my new Bold, Nearly 6 hours later the phone is still showing 16% done and hasnt done anything since. If you turn the handset off it starts again with the same screen showing download in progress. No functions can be used at all, Tmobile ( provider ) are no use and i cant get any troubleshooting advice from the Blackberry website

Mar 30, 2012It said I would not be able to use my phone for 2 hours if I did the upgrade so I clicked ok. Two hours passed and the upgrade was still at the 10 % backup process. I took my battery out to hope I could use it again but it starts up and own the exact same thing. Goes to 10% and freezes out.

My current situation:
I am on a family plan with a total of two lines. My line is not eligible until 7/23, so all I can get is "early upgrade pricing". My mom's line is currently eligible for "full upgrade pricing". I am planning on using my mom's upgrade to get an iPhone 4. I want to preorder the phone from Apple.com on the 15th, and hopefully receive it the afternoon of the 24th. From my understanding, the microSIM that ships with the phone will be programmed for the line whose upgrade was used. However, the iPhone Upgrade Guide makes it sound like I can call AT&T once I receive the phone (and before I activate it), and have AT&T switch the microSIM from my mom's line to mine. Is this possible?

Apr 8, 2012I had to to a restore because several apps including the phone were not working (phone was not receiving calls, would call out but I couldn't hang up, other apps would start and then automatically close, etc). I did a restore and then used the backup from my icloud, but the screen is now frozen with apps "waiting" (for over 10 min). ???? When I enter the settings>icloud>backup on the phone it tells me that the phone is currently restoring. Restoring from my itunes causes an error that the backup is corrupt for doesn't match the device that is being backed up.
