My dad has been trying to set up his first iphone and it asks for his Apple id and password but each time he enters it it says its incorrect.Â
We've been onto itunes on his computer and the password and id are accepted but it then asks him to complete some new security information (address, phone numbers etc). We do this and nothing happens.
I am having trouble updating the apps on my I=-phone because nothing I enter is recognised. I enter the e-mail address originally used and the correct password but it says it doesn't recognise this. I have also tried to re-set the password but it says it is sending me an e-mail to do this but it never comes. I have set up a new user ID and password but don't know how to transfer that so it updates my I-phone.

I have been getting this request for a password. when I contacted AT&T, they advised it was my cell phone number, but when I entered it was advised it was incorrect. Now my phone is completely locked, i can not even power it down. The box stating password incorrect stays open and I can not access my phone at all. Does anyone know how to unlock my phone. I have an iPhone that keeps asking for a password of a user not associated with the device.Â
it would be one thing if it was a family member, but this is of someone who has never touched our iPhone or mac!Â
I confirmed there are no applications or iTunes content (in fact there aren't any songs on the device) that could possibly be associated with this person.Â
How do we get rid of this message?  How do we find out what content is asking for the password so we may remove it?

I have tried and tried to reset my Apple ID and password and on each web page (under Itunes) it has shown that the information was completely reset and no problems were noticed. When I have put this information into my iphone 4 in order to download my (now 35) updates, the phone says that the password is not correct. It doens't verify my Phone Number, only able to use my Apple ID to send iMessages, so my girlfriend, recieves my iMessages, from my email address.FaceTime was working, I didn't touch it at all, I left it alone.today I actually restored it, TWICE. I keep getting a pop up box on my iPhone asking me to enter my password - and the apple id does not match mine. I click 'Cancel' but it keeps reappearing and interfering with other apps. What did I do to get this and what do I do to get rid of it? Is it someone or something phishing for my password? My Son gave me his iPhone G3 to me when he upgraded to the iPhone G4. I have decided to keep all his current Apps on the phone, but have run into some difficulties when I am notified that there are updates to Apps that are on the iPhone.
