I have been getting this request for a password. when I contacted AT&T, they advised it was my cell phone number, but when I entered it was advised it was incorrect. Now my phone is completely locked, i can not even power it down. The box stating password incorrect stays open and I can not access my phone at all. Does anyone know how to unlock my phone. I tried holding the number 1 key down - didn't work.
I can make calls ok and send and receive text. I have my voice mail set up but when I receive calls if I miss the call it does not go to voice mail and the caller get a message saying the number is not recognized. This is a phone problem or a network problem only had this since I have had my X10.
My dad has been trying to set up his first iphone and it asks for his Apple id and password but each time he enters it it says its incorrect.Â
We've been onto itunes on his computer and the password and id are accepted but it then asks him to complete some new security information (address, phone numbers etc). We do this and nothing happens.

Out of the blue my voicemail makes me type in my password to access my voicemail. I never had this before and find it very irritating and do not want it. I have tried the 'fix-it' solution put forth in goggling the question, and nothing worked despite repeated tries - which was to open the phone app, press 1, then press 4 and follow instructions.  But as soon as I press 1, I am told to enter my password and then it goes directly into voicemail; I don't have any other options.Â
I have multiple mailboxes. I have a yahoo and a Gmail. When I click on my gmail account it comes up saying it does not recognize my username or my password and yet it has my correct password and username. I have deleted the account and created it again to get the same messages on my iphone.
I am having trouble updating the apps on my I=-phone because nothing I enter is recognised. I enter the e-mail address originally used and the correct password but it says it doesn't recognise this. I have also tried to re-set the password but it says it is sending me an e-mail to do this but it never comes. I have set up a new user ID and password but don't know how to transfer that so it updates my I-phone.
Everytime I end a call a screen will show up asking me to enter my voice mail password. If I click cancel it will show up again once more, another cancel, and it will go away. But if I enter something and click ok, it will just keep coming back.
Here's the thing though...I don't have a voice mail password.
My visual voice mail does not work and my phone will not tell me if I have a voice mail or not. I called my voice mail and went to the option to turn off my voice mail password, yet it didn't do anything.
I tried making a password then getting rid of it, hard reset, restore, everything and nothing seems to work. I was hoping iOS4 would do something to fix it but no luck.
Also, this screen will also show up if I have no service and then regain it. (It also tells me if I have a voice mail only if I have no service, which is pretty much never).
New iphone 4 indicates that temporary voicemail password has expired, select a new one. In trying to do so, the first step is to enter current password. I either did not have one, or I don't remember it. Could the prompt mean just to enter a new password?
Trying to reset to factory setting for a start over and I have no idea what the password is. I have never made one, so it must be the factory default setting, right? If so, what may it be?
During my use of my iPhone, a box pops up intermittently asking for my voicemail password. It then says "incorrect password." It IS the correct password. What can I do to stop this?

I am trying to log into Blackberry App world. It brings up my e-mail address automaticaly and when I type in a password it says "unable to validate the email address and password combination". It then gives me the option to try to recover my password and the response I get is "Blackberry App World is having trouble connecting to the Blackberry App World server. Verify your network connections and try again". I have been getting this message for weeks. My connection is fine I receive emails every day and I have no problems connecting to the internet.

Dollar sign not recognized in password after OS upgrade My password contains the dollar sign, the key at the righthand bottom corner, next to the Enter key.After upgrading to the new OS today, this character is not recognized as valid; the other characters are shown as stars but this one is not and I am at my last attempt.Using the alt key also does not do the trick.
Not sure why but I can login on my computer but when I try to get into facebook t is asking for me email and password. When I try it I get I get a message ( You have entered an incorrect Email/Password combination)
The email has been verified online and its the same password I have been using to login to the website with. Nothing has changed.
