I wanna sell my x6 at eBay and want to delete all my files(images,SMS,games,apps,etc), but if I reset my cell phone up to factory setting, there aren´t delete my own files, just the setting of the phone is reset.I don't wanna sell it in eBay and somebody hasn´t anything to do as restore the old private files and read my personal messages.

View 19 Replies View RelatedI performed a phone switch in my X2-01 to transfer my contacts and messages from an N2690.The data connection was lost before it can complete so I had to do a second try. I noticed that there were a lot of messages with empty headings in the X2-01 which I did not have in the N2690. I tried to delete them, but I was getting the message "Error occurred. Deletion not completed." over and over again.When I used a PC Suite, the empty messages displayed with their body and I recognized them as the previously deleted messages in the N2690. I was unable to delete the messages using the PC Suite even after restoring to factory settings (including personal data).

However refuses to delete the jpgs either within the device, with a file browser or with BB Desktop. Seems that the problem comes from the files being listed as read only/archived and possibly some sort of issue with a hidden ds file. I've also tried restarting.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having a strange issue on my Wifi Xoom (running the recently pushed ICS). I recently installed an app (the Caustic demo) from the market. Caustic sets up a basic file structure in storage for storing instrument sample files. Well, after uninstalling the demo, I went to remove the leftover files (via ASTRO) and it said "Error deleting files". I dig into the subdir and tried some individual files, but got the same result. I tried another file manager (EStrongs) but got the same result. I then tried mounting on Windows and deleting that way. It appeared to work (crunched for a second, then the files disappeared without any errors given). But the files still show up in ASTRO, and when I re-mount on Windows, they're still there.
Oh and this is only happening with this directory. Other files and directories can be deleted just fine. Is there a problem with my Xoom, or did the app author do something improper with setting up the directory?
Did a swap from a 64 GB 6P to a 128 GB and tried just doing a nandroid. That would've worked but the fingerprint reader wouldn't work without a factory reset. I also accidentally restores the old EFS in TWRP without knowing I shouldn't, but used the original EFS (did a backup on new device before transfer) and restored it back to what came the device.. So I did that and re-did everything and it seemed to have no problems at first. I downloaded some Google Music playlists, Viper4A + busybox, and at some point my phone stopped letting me modify the files.
Camera can't take pictures. Chrome can't download files. I can't add/remove files via PC. I can't modify files via file managers. I tried chmod 777 sdcard but it doesn't fix the problem. I tried reflashing the ROM and all, and did a complete wipe but restored the data (only) from TWRP - so the problem might be somewhere in there. I haven't changed anything from the setup I had on the 64 GB - it was working fine and then just stopped letting me do stuff.
I'll probably try a complete factory firmware restore then flash the ROM all over again, but wanted to see if there was a simple fix first.
I have a nokia n8 and I added my music manually by drag and drop, but for some reason only some of the songs from some albums went on and some albums appear but have no songs in them at all. I can find no option for deleteing these albums off the phone it seems like a big fail in the design of the mp3 player.

I just got a new X1 and am trying to play MP3 files. The samples work OK as does the radio. I have put several MP3 files on a card and installed the card in the phone but the phone says there are no music files. I have tried 2 different cards - both formatted in FAT and FAT 32 but still the files are not seen. Is the phone faulty or is there something else I need to do?

Last night, it was working fine, I closed any apps I had running, set the alarm and locked the phone. I wake up late today to find that my phone isn't working, I try unlocking it, taking the battery out, charging it. Nothing. I can't get it to turn on. Any way I can back up the files that are on there. Presuming it's not the drive in the phone that is dead, the files are still there and can be recovered, but I doubt Nokia support would go to that effort and they'd probably just give me a new phone. I want those files more than I want the phone.
