After updating the firmware (V31.0.004) on my X6 and then restoring the back up file, none of my games work anymore. The games are still there for me to select but will not open. When I try to get the games from the Ovi Store again a message says that the link has been sent to my phone but I don't receive it.

It starts alright, but stops in the middle of the process claiming it has connection problems, and advising that I restart my device and try again (which I did of course). Is it a known problem? Is there a way to restore my content?

Tried few locating applications using A-GPS as well as GPS only, but without success. Tried GPS test - request sent - test timeout - no success. Forget about navigation and forget about training with tracker application. By the way, what about free navigation software? Nokia has it. Actually, this is not the issue any more, since my GPS is not working.

View 2 Replies View RelatedAs soon as I updated phone to latest firmware, auto rotate stopped working. Previous firmware I had was v21. I made update through Nokia Ovi Suite. I tried several methods to restore auto rotate:
1. restore factory settings (soft reset)
2. unmark auto rotate, restart, mark auto rotate
3. removing battery for few minutes
4. finally tried hard reset
And auto rotate is still not working. Is there anything else that can be done to enable auto rotate again?
I've backed up my phone on memory card and then updated firmware of E-71 Now the backup is not been backedup properly and can not retrieve SMS which were backed up.

I tried a couple of times by using the Ovi PC Suite, but it resulted each time in error 12014 (backup of phone succeeded, but update not). View 1 Replies View RelatedI got a new Elm (T-Mobile Germany branded) some days ago and after trying all functions (no problems found), I had it updated to the latest firmware R7CA061 with SEUS. (I've found some threads concerning Elm and GPS-problems in this forum, but they weren't connected to R7CA061). After the update, GPS does not work properly any more, or in other words: it does not really work at all! Neither Assisted GPS (I only tried A-GPS using WIFI) nor unassisted GPS does work. I do not get a lock on my location with Google Maps, also after waiting for more than 10 minutes.
My GPS-position is "jumping around" on the map about one kilometer around my actual position. It's completely inaccurate! I have the feeling that it's even getting worse after some minutes. I also tried the GPS test in the service menu: doesn't work! Switched GPS off and on again: doesn't work! Tried AGPS and GPS: doesn't work! Completely shut down and switch the Elm on again: doesn't work. After reinstalling the latest firmare using SEUS once again - GPS works (assisted and unassisted) and also the GPS test from the service menu works properly. But then, after some minutes, GPS seems to fade away again somehow.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm suffering from memory problems with my Nokia X6 16 Gb recently, specially after the installation of the last version of whatsapp, with emoticons. I can't hardly use Nokia Maps and whatsapp at the same time. I had to uninstall whatsapp during the last trip I was using Nokia Maps.
My actual firmware (Orange, in Spain) is v31.0.004, and I cannot upgrade dialing *#0000# in the phone (appears "No updates available"). Anyone knows how can I upgrade to the last firmware version, v40, for this mobile? I hope the new firmware would be able to solve the memory issues
I updated the firmware on my X3-02 following to the letter the instructions as supplied on the website and through Ovi PC Suite. Now everytime I switch off my phone any settings I've made are lost. This includes everything from time and date through to shortcuts specified in the "Go To" drop down menu.
Also now I cannot apply any themes, it doesn't know what kind of files are on the handset. Loads of applications have been lost. It no longer supports chat, facebook etc. In other words it's pretty buggered. Luckily it still makes and receives calls and SMS.I made a backup before I did the upgrade, but if I restore the handset from that backup all it gives me is the same problems with all my original files, contacts etc.
And if I try to update the firmware to Version 6 through PC OVI Suite it tells me that there are no updates available and that beingt 5.65 is up to date. Same problem with stand alone OVI software updater.An if I try to update by going through the menu on the handset, I cannot enter details for OVI to make a connection.It's really frustrating to say the least. Any body out there "NOKIA" HINT HINT.It's on Orange UK network PAYG.

I would plug it into Nokia Suite once that's done, and download the latest version of the handset's firmware. After having tinkered with it for a couple of years now, downloaded and then deleted various apps, I find that it's running a bit slower, and whenever I check for software updates, I only ever get the same four, which I've been offered now for over 6 months without any change. I suspect that the phone's update facility isn't working properly.

I have an iPhone 5 and I have recently noticed that my sound is not working for some of the games on it. The first game is called Subway Surfers and there is no sound or music on it whatsoever when there is usually sound effects and music playing. Secondly is a game called Tiny Wings, which has sound effects but no music (there is usually music playing). Lastly, is a game called Jetpack Joyride, again there is sound effects but no music. I had this problem with other games but I deleted them off my phone. Â
I have made sure that the sound/music setting is ON for all of these games, my phone is off silent and my volume is up, and the problem is still there.Â
