Sep 6, 2011I have just received my X6 back from nokia repair. The description of what was fixed seems very vauge to me all it says is board swapped.

IPhone :: Speaker And Mic Location Swapped On IP4?
Jun 24, 2010I've upgraded from a 3g. Looking at the face with the home key on the bottom, the speaker is on the bottom left and the mic is on the bottom right. The Ip4 is the opposite. Was there a specific reason for this change?

May 13, 2012Some time ago some of my apps have swapped icons! E.g. Angry birds has now the Sláinte icon, Stopwatch has the Public transport icon etc. See the attached image. The apps start as they normally would and the titles are correct, but with the wrong icons.It's a Nokia N8 with Belle.50 Mb left on C-drive, 2,7 Gb left on E-drive.

IPhone :: Determine A Defective Logic Board?
Apr 6, 2012I have an iPhone 4 which does not turn ON nor charge. If I plug it on iTunes, it says it is on restore mode but the screen is black so it's stuck on DFU mode. I am not sure if I need to change battery or it's with the logic board. If I try to restore it, I always get error 1600 and I have done all the steps you could possible think of and still not working.

Feb 17, 2010I'm looking forward to upgrade to Bold 9700 from Pearl 8120 (outdated, but still in excellent condition) I need some explanation about how the memory works in Bold 9700 plz! As I have been reading on BlackBerry website, there are two separate memory banks. When you do the comparing of the 9700 and 9000, it shows that onboard memory for 9000 is 1GB, and for 9700 is 256MB. The Flash memory for the 9000 is 128MB, and for 9700 is 256MB. I was wondering if that 256MB for the 9700 is the total memory of the phone (flash + onboard), or it has a total memory of 512MB? Another thing I noticed when I was surfing their website that it says in features -> expandable memory "Enhance the 256 MB of on-board flash memory by easily inserting a microSD card. Create extra room for emails, messages, apps, multimedia files, documents and all the other important things that you want to take with you."

If say I have three missed calls form different numbers and I call one back using the available feature, the board will remove one of the other two numbers form the missed call notificaton board. I have not noticed a pattern in this behaviour. I have tried updating but none of the versions I got solved the problem. My Language set is 17.01.

I'd really like to recover some of the data on there that wasn't backed up online and was wondering if I was to remove the main board and transplant it into another Nexus 5 whether this would boot as normal and allow me to access the storage? The board I'm referring to is this one: [URL] ..... (Step 10).
Haven't got much experience changing parts like this around, though I do know the phone is relatively easy to take dismantle. I'm really just hoping to be able to get it live for long enough to save my data to move over to a new phone.

Sep 13, 2011I'm having issues with a wallpaper saved from the gallery. Most of the times it will stick, but about 20% of the time the default red circuit board wallpaper will return. Phone is still functional and if I put it to sleep then reawake, most of the times my gallery wallpaper will return. Really odd. Happens sometimes right after I save a new wallpaper or sometimes later that day after multiple "wake ups".
I was thinking of locating the default wallpapers and placing my pics in there, but if I pick one of the other stock wallpapers, it has done it there, too. Right back to the default circuit board.
