i wanna update my phone X7-00 to belle its all ok downloading and backup then in install it showd this massage " connection to the phone was lost " then " the divice is connected i change the usb and the usb cable and made restore to my mobile and changed the pc and this masage apper evry time.

View 12 Replies View Relatedive just updated my nokia x3 but when i updated it ovi suite restored my phone using an old backup file. this backup file held a diffrent security code which ive forgotten. ive spoke to nokia and the care point in sailsbury. the repair point says i shouldnt be charged for the repair. im awaing a responce from nokia, about them charging me if i use the repair option on the website. View 4 Replies View RelatedRight connecting my X6-00 to Ovi Suite and it says there is a device software update to v31.0.004. I click on install, it runs through the back-up fine and then starts installation. However it constantly loses the USB connection so keeps restarting the software install.
I've used the same USB cable and Ovi Suite to update my N8's software in the past without any problems so what am I doing wrong?

I have tried it doing via Ovi Suite and also through my mobile using gprs, but all the times i have failed. The software version currently am having is 30.2.003 which was updated on Dec.7th 2010 and am sure that there have been other updates that got released after that....Can anyone help out with this....also my phone battery is getting dried up very quickly, what i have learnt by research is that the software version might be one of the reasons for this

I wanted to update my software so I plugged it into my PC, everything was going fine, the update started and then my PC decided to not recognise the USB anymore and my phone got disconnected First it went blank, so I switched it off. Took out the battery, tried to put it back on but the screen was black and it was constantly vibrating like mad!!I read quite a lot of posts about problems similar to mine, but there is a slight issue here.. My red.green buttons arent working at all. I suspect people from the service that were fixing my phone before forgot to "plug" the buttons because before everything was fine but I was too lazy to go back and managed to live withough these buttons so I cant try red/green and camera button to restart,What to do? Nokia care point? Does my warranty cover things like that?

This is NOT the delay you have with some providers.The problem becomes very annoying if there is a strong ambiant noise. For example I recently had a phone call while watching tv.I could hear the tv in my ear, it was coming through the microphone of the phone.But as I have it loud, this sound goes back through the microphone, creating a loop. and giving a strong high feedback sound. (this stops when i go into a silent room)(its like in the radio, when the radiostation calls someone on the phone and they dont turn the volume of their radio down)No, I am not using handsfree or speaker mode. Just plain phone call, the phone on my ear.Normally ( it was like that before) I could NOT hear what was going into the mike, only the person on the other end of the line should be able to hear it.
PS: it has nothing to do with the provider, as my other Phones work perfectly with the same sim card.(I use the x3-02 in the office as it is very small and fits into the breast-pocket of my suit.)
I just did the last firmware update on my X3-02, it seemed to have gone fine but I'm unable the restore the parameters I previously saved. It starts alright, but stops in the middle of the process claiming it has connection problems, and advising that I restart my device and try again (which I did of course). Is it a known problem? Is there a way to restore my content?

The games are still there for me to select but will not open. When I try to get the games from the Ovi Store again a message says that the link has been sent to my phone but I don't receive it.
