View 7 Replies View RelatedWe have purchased SSL Certificates from verisign to do 802.1x authentication. However when attempting to connect I still receive the "Not Trusted" Certificate message. In testing I have e-mailed all of the seperate certs to myself to see for sure which one in the chain is not trusted. I find that the Root Certificate "Verisign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority - G5" dated 11/7/2006 to 7/16/2036 is the one that mis matches the one in on my phone. I read that the key for the cert http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5012 doesnt match the one directly from Verisign therefore verisign cert isnt trusted.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAnyone know how to add a self-signed https certificate for the iPhone? I use a self-signed cert for a webUI for uTorrent via stunnel. In iOS 3.0 it wasn't much a problem; it would kick up a warning but would let you continue. In iOS 4.0 it won't let me continue without adding the cert. apparently. I get a prompt saying that the "certificate for this server is invalid." I've tried going to the webUI url in Safari on my mac, viewing the cert. when prompted, and choosing to add it to my keychain and then syncing, but I still get the same prompt with no way to continue or add the cert. I've also tried emailing my self the .cer file and adding it on my iPhone, but it still does not work.Edit: I've found the profile on my iPhone for the cert. I added, but shows it as "Untrusted".

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have spent a few days trying to google a solution, including a few quite complicated (for me) attempts from the developers site but to no avail.I have been trying to install a few simple applications onto my E71, namely the Quick reboot app here (http://forums.asf-mobiles.com/Thread-Quick-Reboot-App-For-Symbian) or this reboot app(http://www.symbian-freak.com/downloads/app/3rd_ed/eqrestart_3rd_UNSIGNED.zip).Whenever I try to install I get the error "certificate error contact the application supplier"I have tried a soft & hard reset. I have set my phone to accept all, not just signed apps, I am running the most up to date software on the phone, according to OVI Suite. I have even tried signing a version of the app myself from info on the developers site. There must be a simple answer to this, people are developing simple apps for Symbian phones, how can we use these?

View 4 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know of a way of getting the Nokia SU-8W to work with the Nokia E72? This keyboard worked fine with the E71, but to get it to work you had to run a separate piece of keyboard software that was preinstalled on the E71. There's no such software in the E72, and I've even tried downloading the software from the SU-8W support site but when I try to run it I get a certificate error. The E72 see's the keyboard and pairs with it, but won't actually use it.
