Trying to set up my exchange e-mail account. The security certificate is in a zip file. I saved the zip file to Drive and extracted the files from it. When I go through the steps to install on the G3 it won't allow me to select the individual files to install. They're visible but grey'd out.
I'm trying to install my first app but can't because the app, apparently, has no digital certificate. My searches have turned up a lot of hits but no solution for me. (Uninstalling Fonix won't help because I don't have Fonix! Calling Motorola won't help because it's not a Motorola phone. The phone is an HTC TMobile phone but I get service from AT&T.)One search hit mentioned a registry change. But I have found no way to make registry changes on the phone.

I downloaded the facebook for blackberry app on my curve. To get into this I click on applications then facebook I prefer to get into facebook this way rather than clicking on the globe. It then gives me the option to enter my facebook email address and password once I've done this I click on login. It very rarely lets me on a box keeps coming up saying unknown error or login expired. It occasionally lets me on after trying to log in about 50 times. I tried uninstalling the app and re-installing it but still no difference.
I have a 6110 Navigator and when I try to update ovi maps, I get a certificate error. This is the first time I've used Ovi, and I managed to update to the latest phone software version. When checking for updates, it lists maps but is impossible to install. Is this being fixed?
I have spent a few days trying to google a solution, including a few quite complicated (for me) attempts from the developers site but to no avail.I have been trying to install a few simple applications onto my E71, namely the Quick reboot app here (http://forums.asf-mobiles.com/Thread-Quick-Reboot-App-For-Symbian) or this reboot app(http://www.symbian-freak.com/downloads/app/3rd_ed/eqrestart_3rd_UNSIGNED.zip).Whenever I try to install I get the error "certificate error contact the application supplier"I have tried a soft & hard reset. I have set my phone to accept all, not just signed apps, I am running the most up to date software on the phone, according to OVI Suite. I have even tried signing a version of the app myself from info on the developers site. There must be a simple answer to this, people are developing simple apps for Symbian phones, how can we use these?
Does anyone know of a way of getting the Nokia SU-8W to work with the Nokia E72? This keyboard worked fine with the E71, but to get it to work you had to run a separate piece of keyboard software that was preinstalled on the E71. There's no such software in the E72, and I've even tried downloading the software from the SU-8W support site but when I try to run it I get a certificate error. The E72 see's the keyboard and pairs with it, but won't actually use it.
I'm constantly getting "certicicate error. Please contact application supplier" when trying to install Nokia Maps 3.03 on my E63. I tried the following: # set date to 2008 # set software installation settings to "all" # set online certificate check to "off" All this didn't help. Does any one have any idea what can be done about this? tried to find out what firmware is installed but didn't figure out how to find this info. But there should be a way to install Nokia maps here.
