Xperia Ray :: Tell If It Has The Correct Specs As In The Packaging

I bought my Xperia ray from a local store. The actual RAM memory showed that it's only about 300MB and the actual internal storage showed that it's only 420MB while the whitepaper for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray ST18i showed that the RAM should be 512MB and the internal storage should be 1GB. I used Elixir 2 to determine it. Is there an explanation for this? Sony Ericsson should make available utilities for checking the hardware specifications of the phone.
I have a 3GS and I'm anxious to switch to Android. However I'm a little hesitant to buy something now when it seems all the phones have the same 1 yr old specs (1 GHZ, 512 RAM, 480 x 800 res) and just different form factors. Any hints when the next bump in specs will be? End of the year I'm guessing?

Our old buddy Sal (who was always very reliable) has leaked the S3 specs on his website and a thread in CB has been started. Looks VERY exciting and worth the wait.
I have updated by Xperia X10 to the latest software available.After the update, the phone call log doesn't show correct data. The call log doesn't show all dialled call or received calls/missed calls. I guess this is a bug in the latest update.
I put a new sim into my daughters xperia mini pro but after i turned the phone back on, the date was reset to 31/1/1980 and the time was 00.00. The phone is set to 'use network values' for the date and time so i cant understand why it is showing the wrong date and time
X10 Mini 2.1. How do yo set the correct time down to the right second? Whatever I try its like 30 seconds off. I try setting it 30 sec early compared to real time, and also 30 sec late. But it still changes minute when the real time says like 18:15:30 (hh:mm:sec). I am setting it to manual and Im using the TV as an indication for the exact time. But the phone always changes minute about 30 seconds wrong, no matter how I try.
i have a free memory of 215mb and i saw it on settings>storage, when i checked the applications tab settings>applications>manage applications. the internal memory that is free is 230mb. so what is correct? and if 230 is correct where did my 15mb go?

OK, I know that my PIN is correct but it keeps saying my PIN is incorrect. I keep entering it and it still doesn't send me to Google login account so that I can at least get into my phone using a backup login. It doesn't let me unlock my phone in any way whatsoever. Just keeps locking me out for 30secs every 4 times that I enter a PIN wrong. Nothing that says "too many incorrect PIN attempts" pops up.
Ok this may sound simple but I'm coming from an apple device that had much less options. Whats is the correct way to do this? In porting over my contacts somehow i ended up using Microsoft exchange server and it created a hell of a lot of multiple contacts for the same person but based on different emails,phone numbers... You name it. Not sure how i did that. Some if my contacts have multiple listings for the same field when i go to edit them, I'm not sure which field i should be entering thier correct data.
For instance, if i add new contact, that contact can be either
Phone contact Google contact Microsoft exchange contact SIM contact
Some of my contacts when clicked on have two phone accounts associated with them. When i click edit, i scroll through the usual name, phone number etc... then I'm presented with another Phone contact heading with the same fields again only might have a different email address in one of the fields.
The Time randomly changes by hours and minutes. This morning it was off by 3 hours plus some minutes. I am in the correct time zone and the Date & Time is set to Automatic; Time Zone is New York. I have another iPhone 5c in my house hold and it does NOT experience the same issue. Both iPhones are using the same Apple ID. I have not reset the phone yet because I will lose all previous text messages etc. I m also not able to connect to yahoo mail when the time is off and I am forced to send Text messages as opposed to iMessage, which has caused problems with my contacts NOT being able to text me.Â
Ok so i have a lenovo s10 net book that has my itunes and iphone 3gs synced to it. I just bought a new mac book pro and want to move everything over to it. So heres my questions. My iphone is 3.1.2 JB with blackrain. The new computer has itunes 9.1. what is the best way to move all my stuff and sync my iphone to it without causing issues and loseing my jailbreak. I want to start syncing the iphone to the new macbook pro.
My iPhone 3GS when using Maps thinks it is about 3 miles from the correct location when i am at home. My Wifes 3GS is fine and both iPads are correct. Is there something i need to reset or clear?
I can't unlock my phone and I'm using the correct password. I'm at my final attempt to enter the password or ALL of my personal information will be lost!! I just got off of the phone with customer service and was told basically I'm going to lose all my business contacts & personal notes that I entered this morning during my morning meeting and that it's my fault because I didn't back it up! How the heck can I back up my device while during my company meeting? I'm the owner and I have many notes and etc on my device that I put there this morning! Now I lose money because I can't get my information. I'm so ticked off right now! Customer service wasn't helpful at all...he just blamed me for my problem! Never mind the fact that the darn phone keeps turning itself on and off randomly!
I am able to log in on a computer to my account on Blackberry services, however when i put the same details on my phone it is saying they are incorrect. I have changed it but it is still not letting me log in on my phone despite putting in the correct user name & password
Using 6.0 on my 9700, the labels for my Gmail account are mixed up - what shows on the device doesn't match what's shown in webmail.All my labels are listed, but if I assign a label on my device, it shows up as something completely different in my mail.
I'm locked out of my Blackberry again because it appears to be malfunctioning. When I type the password, it shows what I'm typing, instead of masking it with asterisks, and reverts to the alphabet unless I press Alt+ the key. Even when I carefully enter the correct password, it always says it's wrong. I have 2 or 3 tries left. Last time this happened a few months ago, it ended up wiping everything. I would like to avoid losing some valuable audio files that are stored only on the phone.
Whats the correct way to store a phone number? I recently redid all my contacts, categorizing them all as a google contact. I noticed the most of my numbers are listed in the format:
(204) 111-1111
While some are stored as
+1 204-111-1111
Which format is correct? Can this affect group texting if I'm trying to text two contacts with different number formatting like this but in the same message thread??
HTC one S - all of a sudden I have no notification sounds. All the settings are correct and when I do trial run with sound I can hear it but when and actual call or text message comes in all I get is vibrate, I get no sound. What's up with that? I have turned off and on hoping to reset - no go.
We have two Iphone 4's in our house. My phone is Steve's iPhone and the other is Dianne's iPhone... When I plug my phone in to my PC it calls my (Steve's iPhone) Dianne's IPhone. I have looked at the name on the iPhone and it is Steve's IPhone. I have tried to change the name of the file and the PC will not let me. How do I get my PC to identify my iPhone as Steve's instead of Dianne's?
