OK, I know that my PIN is correct but it keeps saying my PIN is incorrect. I keep entering it and it still doesn't send me to Google login account so that I can at least get into my phone using a backup login. It doesn't let me unlock my phone in any way whatsoever. Just keeps locking me out for 30secs every 4 times that I enter a PIN wrong. Nothing that says "too many incorrect PIN attempts" pops up.
View 1 RepliesI'll be updating to 5.1.1 later and wondered what the best way to restore my S6 (SM-G920F). I'll be backing up different ways where each backup does it slightly differently.
I have
1. Samsung backup set up via the backup/restore options
2. Google sync via accounts and backup via backup/restore options
3. Helium backup "carbon" folder copied to my PC
Which is the best to restore from? Is there a certain order i should do it? Can i ignore any of the options listed above? I only ask this as Helium is denied backup to certain apps e.g. WhatsApp etc.
My S5 finished charging at 4pm but the battery chart from (apps, battery) shows 10pm.

However, if I take a video in portrait mode on my phone, transfer it to my windows 7 computer and play it, it plays in landscape mode (sideways). I've tried VLC player and windows media player and they both play portrait taken videos in landscape.

Problem 1:
Previously I installed multiple languages for auto correct so I could text different folks in different languages, then I decided to uninstall and disable those other languages, but auto correct still has the entire dictionary of foreign languages loaded and there doesn't seem to be an option to remove those other than word by word as I type...
Problem 2:
Since my phone is synced with my gmail, whenever I start typing any words, it will suggest random people's email addresses in the autocorrect which I can't seem to disable. I am not even typing in the "To" field of any email either, just googling things or texting.
I checked my contacts list on gmail but that's empty. It seems to just have memorised every single person I ever emailed even 10 years ago. Short of deleting those old emails, how do I get rid of those email address suggestions from my autocorrect?
Again, there doesn't seem to be an option to turn those email suggestions off and I can't even delete these ones from the autocorrect list - doing so says "are you sure", I confirm, and next time I start typing a few characters, that same email address gets suggested again!
W shooting video in bright sunlight the LCD screen on Samsung S5 smart phone blocks out the screen from the clare. How do I correct that to have a clear LCD to look at.

In porting over my contacts somehow i ended up using Microsoft exchange server and it created a hell of a lot of multiple contacts for the same person but based on different emails,phone numbers... You name it. Not sure how i did that. Some if my contacts have multiple listings for the same field when i go to edit them, I'm not sure which field i should be entering thier correct data.
For instance, if i add new contact, that contact can be either
Phone contact
Google contact
Microsoft exchange contact
SIM contact
Some of my contacts when clicked on have two phone accounts associated with them. When i click edit, i scroll through the usual name, phone number etc... then I'm presented with another Phone contact heading with the same fields again only might have a different email address in one of the fields.
When I go to download an app, the Apple ID on my phone is not correct. How do I change it?

The Time randomly changes by hours and minutes. This morning it was off by 3 hours plus some minutes. I am in the correct time zone and the Date & Time is set to Automatic; Time Zone is New York. I have another iPhone 5c in my house hold and it does NOT experience the same issue. Both iPhones are using the same Apple ID. I have not reset the phone yet because I will lose all previous text messages etc. I m also not able to connect to yahoo mail when the time is off and I am forced to send Text messages as opposed to iMessage, which has caused problems with my contacts NOT being able to text me.Â

I just got off of the phone with customer service and was told basically I'm going to lose all my business contacts & personal notes that I entered this morning during my morning meeting and that it's my fault because I didn't back it up! How the heck can I back up my device while during my company meeting? I'm the owner and I have many notes and etc on my device that I put there this morning! When I type the password, it shows what I'm typing, instead of masking it with asterisks, and reverts to the alphabet unless I press Alt+ the key. Even when I carefully enter the correct password, it always says it's wrong. I have 2 or 3 tries left. Last time this happened a few months ago, it ended up wiping everything. The actual RAM memory showed that it's only about 300MB and the actual internal storage showed that it's only 420MB while the whitepaper for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray ST18i showed that the RAM should be 512MB and the internal storage should be 1GB. I used Elixir 2 to determine it. Is there an explanation for this? Sony Ericsson should make available utilities for checking the hardware specifications of the phone.

HTC one S - all of a sudden I have no notification sounds. All the settings are correct and when I do trial run with sound I can hear it but when and actual call or text message comes in all I get is vibrate, I get no sound. What's up with that? I have turned off and on hoping to reset - no go.
