Dec 3, 2012Has anyone else had issues with the Lumia 920 showing the wrong date and time? I entered both manually when I first set up the phone as the automatic setting did not work. After a couple days I noticed that the date had changed to 1st Sep 2012 and the time was a couple of hours out. I corrected but again a couple of days later the clock is a couple of hours slow and the date was 3 weeks out. I then changed the settings to "automatic" turned the phone off and on again and the date is a week behind and the time is 3 hours fast.

Nov 1, 2011Today i updates my galaxy s2 through Samsung Kies. Everything went well and it took about 10 minutes to complete. There is one small problem though, in settings ->battery usage its fully charged and saying i have 1m 50 s on battery?!! And when i open the graph it says i have 27 seconds on battery! Whats going on? How can i fix this? I hope this is not a true indication of my current battery level and will cut out at anytime.

Then 3 days ago it stopped to count talk time (first position on the list, over screen usage time). Yesterday i let the battery drain all the way out so that i could completely cycle through. It ended up takeing a little over 3 hours to fully charge again. Was curious how many hrs of usage other people are averageing and how many hrs of charge time?

Jan 8, 2016I've had a handful of times I've looked to check the time and it is off by at least 5 or 6 hours. The time zone is correct under settings and it eventually fixes itself... but it is really strange. When I send a text while the time is off the time stamp on the text is also off.

Mar 31, 2012I have a 4S running on iOS 5.0. I reset my phone a few weeks ago when I was playing around, and I restored it from my iCloud backup. Everything was fine except the filename counter for my pictures was also reset to IMG0001. I transfer pictures to my computer regularly so now I have many pictures with duplicated names, such as IMG0001.JPG and IMG0001 (2).JPG. This is much of an annoyance but I can live with that.
However I have even weirder things happening now. Let's say before I reset my phone I had shot a vidoe and the name was IMG0010.MOV. After the reset of course the video is gone, and I take pictures with my phone as usual. So I took a picture whose name as IMG0010.JPG again, and when I try to see it in the camera roll, I see the first frame of my old video! In the thumbnail view it is the right picture, but when I tap on it to view it, it shows my newly taken picture for about half a second, and then displays my old video. I guess there must be some old cache on my phone that override the picture display. Does anyone know how to fix it?
I should add that the picture is also displayed wrongly in my photo stream folder on the phone. On the other hand when I access the picture from the computer (in the DCIM folder, and in the synced photo stream folder) it is the right one. But I want to view the pictures on my phone! I can't take my computer with me anytime!

Mar 14, 2010My iPhone 3GS is set to change time automatically with the Daylight Savings change. That worked as the phone time itself is correct, but the times for the different places in the built-in World Clock app are still off by an hour (they are on the old time). This is also true of my husband's iPhone 3G. Strangely, I have an iPod touch that adjusted both its system time and the World Clock times without difficulty.
I have tried syncing the phone, toggling on/off the update time automatically, and rebooting, but the time is still incorrect. If I try adding a new place, it will also have the wrong time.
There may also be an issue with other apps - the ESPN app had the start time of a game today off by an hour as well.
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to fix this?
Edit: To clarify, the times are wrong for US cities that do observe DST, such as New York, Chicago, etc.
IPhone 5c :: Does Not Keep Correct Time
Aug 20, 2014The Time randomly changes by hours and minutes. This morning it was off by 3 hours plus some minutes. I am in the correct time zone and the Date & Time is set to Automatic; Time Zone is New York. I have another iPhone 5c in my house hold and it does NOT experience the same issue. Both iPhones are using the same Apple ID. I have not reset the phone yet because I will lose all previous text messages etc. I m also not able to connect to yahoo mail when the time is off and I am forced to send Text messages as opposed to iMessage, which has caused problems with my contacts NOT being able to text me.Â

Jun 22, 2010I'm in a blackberry group with some friends and we have two problems.
Firstly our Administrator's (we only had one) blackberry was water damaged and so she had to get a new blackberry. So now we can't assign anyone to be the new administrator.I'm not sure if she fixed the water damaged phone or just threw it away I just know she got a new phone.
Secondly our message times don't correspond with our blackberry time i.e if I type a message at 11:02 it shows up as 2:02.

Feb 13, 2015I have a Google Nexus 5 running Android 5.0.1 and have recently noticed that the time assigned to pictures taken with my phone are all time-stamped five hours later than when the pictures were actually taken. By time stamped I mean the time shown when I pull up the picture's details.
Given that it's exactly five hours off it seems to me that it's probably a time-zone issue. However, I've checked the settings on my phone under Settings/Date & Time and although both the date and time are set to Automatic Date & Time and Automatic Time Zone, the grayed out text below are showing the correct date, time and time zone. This makes sense since my phone displays the correct date and time across the board except for the photo details.Is this something that can be fixed by adjusting some settings I'm not aware of?

BB Pearl 8100 :: 8110 Clock Doesn't Show Correct Time
Mar 23, 2010I have inherited an 8110 which so far I am very happy with. apart from one small thing. The clock doesn't show the correct time. It does not update minute by minute as a 'normal' timepiece would. If I go into the settings for alarm or date/time then exit the clock is updated. but it will not update again until I do this again.This morning when I woke up for work it was showing 10.50pm last night.

Last night after midnight I had a text conversation with a phone number I didn't know. They messaged me out of the blue saying that they knew me, but all the responses were generic so I think it was some sort of a scam... even though they didn't ask for anything. The area code for the number came from Quebec, which is... 1.5 hours behind us here. Coincidence? Have I been hacked or something?
