Jun 26, 2015My previous phone was an S5 and in the stock email app it had a dropdown menu which included the "Delete All" function. Got the S6, Lollipop 5.1.1, recently and that feature is now missing. Email cannot be deleted off of my work email server so when I added my work email to my phone all 6,000+ emails eventually came in. The only way I've figured to delete them is one at a time. Did I mention I had to return my first S6 for a defective battery and got a replacement? Yes, I've deleted 12,000+ emails individually in the past week.

Nov 29, 2015Nexus 5, 16GB, MRA58N (stock, not rooted). Sometimes the power percentages shown for each process in the battery monitor do not add up to the total battery drain? I am finding that sometimes they add up to within 1% of the total shown.... and sometimes they are WAY off with as much as 30% of the displayed battery drain unaccounted for. Since I don''t have access to the battery terminals, I can't determine independently whether the percentages shown are simply inaccurate, or whether there are missing processes (ie., processes not shown at all in the battery monitor).

Jun 9, 2015I'm using the stock MUSIC App/Widget ... I have the phone connected via Bluetooth to a portable speaker. It will play for a while (like 20-30 mins) and suddenly just stop playing. I check the APP on the phone & I press the PLAY button and in continues just fine - almost like STOP was pressed. I don't have any settings for turning it off after a certain time. This seems to happen intermittently on either of the Bluetooth accessories I pair with the phone. (Headphones or Speaker).

When I got up 7.5 hrs later I was very surprised to see that approx half my battery was gone and all due to the stock email sync. I have unlimited data and didn't bother changing the sync to longer intervals rather than push. I have obviously changed the sync interval.

Jul 10, 2015My 1 month old s6 (920i) struggles to get a 3.5hr SOT during the day. Coming from the s3 where i used to easily get a 5hr SOT with the same usage style i can say this is pathetic. In the battery section top of the list i have Android OS and Google Services, followed by Facebook and Instagram.
Note that i have most of the things turned off except when using them, such as wifi, gps, nfc etc... Also i tried booting to stock recovery and clearing cache but this has not solved the issue. The phone does go to deep sleep as i have checked using BBS.

I prefer the stock lock screen as there's more spacing between the numbers (easier for fat fingers).Phone isn't rooted. Android 5.1 using nova launcher.

Though I've hit a few bumps, I don't expect to waste money on other flagships again.I don't need to be able to right this instant, but wiping cache is one of my regular troubleshooting tools. Upon troubleshooting an MMS issue I was having, I discovered my recovery wasn't working properly. Though I fixed the MMS issue by resetting APN settings, the recovery thing has been bothering me.
I am running stock and locked. I have done nothing to this phone to warrant it being my fault. The problem is simple (and a Google search indicated, common). When you get to Recovery, you get a droid on its back, a red exclamation mark and "NO COMMAND". Doesn't matter if you hold up and power, tap up, or get there from the bootloader. The recovery software is seemingly missing completely.

Jul 12, 2011Whenever I receive an sms, the messaging app shows a phone number instead of a contact name. It also does not show the contact photo. From time to time the contact name would show (reason undetermined), but still without the photo. I am using a stock messaging app and the phone is not modded in any way. All contacts are Google contacts duplicated and linked to Phone contacs (although I tried erasing Phone contacts and using only Google contacts - to no avail.) Each contact has got a +48 country prefix. The "People" list is showing photos without a problem. I previously had a classic Desire and the messaging app worked fine.
