My 5 year old niece was playing with my phone and she tried too many patterns, over 20, and it locked me out. Usually when this happens, i just wait 20 seconds and it lets me use the pattern again. But this time its keeping on the same page. I dont know the answer to the question. The question is 'Whats your favourite place?'
I set up a new pattern for my lock screen on my Sony Experia Z2 and I have forgotten it. How can I unlock my phone without deleting any files? I need to keep my photos ect. I have tried to use Sony PC Companion but for that you need to have your screen unlocked and I can't unlock it because I don't know the pattern. I have also tried to enter a code in the emergency call section to try unlock it and it didn't work.
Yesterday I changed my pattern but today when I am opening my phone the pattern is not accepted although i am 10000000% sure that  this is it  after trying 200+ times no message showed up to reset through google adding to that sending a password through my google device manager is also impossible due to pattern application...
Press (heise.de/Security) has communicated a security vulnerabilty for Android smartphones. The vulerability lcoks the SIM card access from web pages rendering the telephony and internet access unusable . According to an update it also applies to sony smartphones. When will this be addressed?
Someone draw a pattern to lock the phone and then he added a security question. Someone else got his hands on the phone, striked him out and now he does not remember the answer he's supposed to write in. Is there any chance that we can get passed that question and use the PUK-code or reset the phone?
After downloading the Backup and restore app for X10 and selecting it for install I'm given and "install blocked pop-up. According to SE this pop-up should give the option to change settings. All I have is the option to click "OK". I m unable to download the backup and restore feature. Is it because I have and AT&T phone?
I have a new brand Xperia Z5 Compact from two days ago.I have configured my mobil with everything I had in my old Xperia P and then I tried to configure some fingerprints to use it as my security method. I realized that it is not working as the wizard process crashes closing before I can introduce my fingerprint. I thought that reinstalling Android through the Sony Companion would solve the issue but it is still happening.   My wife, that has the same phone from the same day, could configure a fingerprint without a problem. Can be a hardware problem that does not allow me to configure the fingerprint?
I cant change my WiFi security code. It is supposed to be as WAP/WPA2 PSK. But in my phone it is showing as WPA PSK. Is it a problem with my phone or with the WiFi connection? Please help me out. I'm using sony ericsson Xperia Neo V, version 4.0.4.was using the same network for a long time. I just clicked the FORGET option once accidently and from that time I'm having this problem.
I got issue from past week, suddenly phones lost my security lock reverted back to swipe. I tried putting face unlock and PIN but after few minutes the phone goes back to swipe to unlock. I don't recall installing any new apps in past few weeks nor installing any phone updates except for app updates for already installed apps
I set the trace a pattern security system for the phone. Later when trying to do two things at once I got the pattern wrong five times. I then compounded the problem by getting the succeeding attempts wrong as well until the phone locked me out. Like many others it seems I set-up my gmail account without recording the pertinant details, gmail address and password, these are the requirements to unlock the phone. The official X10 user guide is no help on the subject. I have also been to various websites looking for advice and have found no information at all, apart from don't do it of course! I went to a phone shop and their advice was to use PC Companion to reset the phone but of course I need to mount the phone in order that the software sees it. I am resigned to resetting the phone as the solution as I am backed up but even if I reset I will still need the gmail info to enable all of the Google features. I know it is the result of being a dufus but it seems like a bit of a terminal cul-de-sac at the moment.
my blackberry torch stopped working a few months ago and eventually because i need it for my company i gave up and just ran out to buy a curve to keep me going. when i got in tonight i switched it on and it seems to be functioning reasonably well again. however i have one problem because i havent used it since april i have completely forgotten my password
i am about to lock the phone on my next attempt, i spoke to vodaphone and they advised me to come on here for support but i cant find that section? i dont mind it all the data on the phone has to go missing but the woman at vodaphone made out it would kill the device completely?
I would like to add an e-mail address to be pushed to my BB but in order to do this you are required to enter a username and a password on the e-mail set-up. I have tried so many different combinations and am unsure what either of them are. Is there a way to retrieve them?
