Jul 1, 2015I set up a new pattern for my lock screen on my Sony Experia Z2 and I have forgotten it. How can I unlock my phone without deleting any files? I need to keep my photos ect. I have tried to use Sony PC Companion but for that you need to have your screen unlocked and I can't unlock it because I don't know the pattern. I have also tried to enter a code in the emergency call section to try unlock it and it didn't work.

Oct 5, 2011I often switch the feature to have to slide the screen lock to use the phone on or off. It's currently off and I can't find the menu item to turn it on again! Where was it again? I've got a standard Motorola Defy 2.2.By the way - the only reason I'm always switching it around is because when I'm expecting a lot of calls/texts, I turn it on. Because when I get a text and the phone's in my pocket, I often press something when taking it out as getting a text/call unlocks the screen.For the rest of the time - I find it irritating to have to press the power button and then slide the screen - why both? It's not like it's hard to accidentally press the power button on the Defy!In a way - that "in pocket detection" option sounds ideal but I found it kept cutting in when I didn't want it to.Maybe I can do something with that "tasker" app so that when I press the power button, it unlocks the screen.where is that screen lock option again?

IPhone :: Forgotten Passcode Expiration - How To Reset
May 23, 2012I have been using the IPCU for a while now, however we are having more and more iPhones and iPads in the business and we are finding it more difficult to manage. To start with I enable a few security features, ie a passcode that is 6 digits and expires after 30 days. This is set to time out after 5 minutes and also to come into force if the device is switched off. Ok so that doesnt sound too difficult and we have overcome the issue (at our cost) with iPads and iPhones being setup at different times as we need to get the passcodes in synch.
My real problem (well two actually) is that if the person for whatever reason forgets their passcode their seems to be no way of resetting it over the air or with an admin override facility. That mean that they either have to keep guessing until they wipe the device or bring it to HQ to resolve. The second problem is that we are using EAS (exchange active synch) which is great and works well but when the passwords expire on their AD account the push notification then fires up the wrong password notification box and locks out their AD account. I know the easiest way is to not expire passwords but this is a legal requirement.

I did a hard reset after removing battery for 10 minutes, and the phone was runing for some time - the lock code remained unkown but it booted, before it wanted the lock code to boot off, but after this my stupid head decided to update the phone - causing it to restart, and even worst now it not only again ask for the unknown lock code at boot, it also can't hard reset by the Green key,Red key, camera button switch on method + 10 minutes w/o battery. 1) no notifications are displayed on my lock screen even for missed calls or sms's .. there is no any icon or symbol that informs me if i have missed any call or received a message ; and i have to unlock my phone every time to check
in the Settings -> Sounds and Notifications -> i selected the option to show all the notifications.. but nothing changed

Jun 9, 2012We have 3 Ray phones in our family. I have upgraded my to ICS, but the other two still have the original android OS - GB. Problems that we experience on all three phones are as follows; If I look at the video file and turn the phone 90 degrees (it does not matter if I turn it left or right), then screen lock lock the screen immediately. I can not unlock the phone as long as the phone is in the same position. I have to turn it back 90 degrees for it to go to unlock it. The same happens even if I want to play games and have to turn my phone 90 degrees, or if I want to photograph or record a film. If I do not turn my phone 90 degrees, then everything works as it should, but it is supposed to be able to rotate the phone, depending on what you do without screen lock locks my phone immediately?
