Jul 5, 2010So here is an odd one. I've noticed my iPhone 4 acting weird with the proximity sensor so I did the full reset of my phone. Now since then, I've gone to setup my lock code again and thats no problem. Expect the only option I see is immediately... I dont get to choose anymore the frequency of the passcode. I've tried to reset again and turn my phone on and off. No go. I've changed the password, turn the code on and off. No go.

May 22, 2012So I have recently downloaded the 'Find My Iphone' app from apple. Its an app which facilitates you to find your iphone if locally lost or track it so ou know where it is. One of the issues with these type of security features is they become irrelevant as if stolen the thief can simply decide to turn off the phone. At the moment you are able to turn off an iphone from the lock screen menu, i am wondering is there a way to disable this so that the iphone can only be turned off once i have got past the lock? i.e so the phone can only be switched off by the phone users authorisation?

Feb 10, 2016I have a Lumia 950 and there is no longer an option to Never show the lock screen. The only reason I want to temporarily disable the Lock screen is because Groove is so stupid that it only adds music to its library while the screen is on. If you have a large music collection it can take hours so it would be nice to just let it start at night and let it get it done rather than have to babysit it and touch the screen every 5 minutes. Obviosuly there is no standard way to turn off the lock screen.. I'm just hoping maybe there is an app out there or something that is capable of preventing it from coming on.

Even the phone is in the bag or on the table while I am having meeting, the screen would just randomly turn on. It is very embarrassing while I am having important meeting and the phone is on the table. People may think I play phone or something like that.
