I bought My Xperia Mini St15i from Bangladesh 2 days ago....I connected it to internet yesterday,Used the net for 2-3 hours,then all of a sudden the "E" sign(EDGE) in the status bar disappeared and I cant access the internet eversince.......These are the steps that I ve taken so far-1.Used my SIM in another phone...The SIM is fine2.Used another SIM(of another operator) in my phone...No result3.Hav checked a thousand times for the points that has been stated by the sony ericsson internet access trouble shooting page here-ttp://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/mobilephones/troubleshooting/subject/unabletoconnecttointernetoraccesstointernetbasedservices/xperia-mini?cc=us&lc=en4.Hav updated the latest phone software5.Have configured my internet settings couple of times6.Have resetted my phone to factory settings twice.......7.Someone said something in the forum about Mcaffe interrupting the internet,so I uninstalled it.
Still no result.....,my friend has an HTC and there is a single option that instantly connects the phone to the internet in the "wireless & Network" settings,I have seen a similar option in some other HTC phones but although everything else is similar,my phone does not have this"Connect to the internet" option in the "Wireless & network" settings...

I've sent myself a simple email with a simple MS Word attachment to a regular Pop email account: the inbox list display shows a paperclip against the item, but if I open the email there is no indication of an attachment. If I long press on the email header, there's a message 'cannot view attachment'. The same email sent to Gmail shows the attachment, with a 'preview' button. If I press that the attachment appears in a viewer of some sort (the browser?).
What can I do with an attachment, beyond just viewing it?
My web browser works perfectly fine.But none of the applications that access the internet - such as gmail, facebook, market, etc. work. They show a "connectivity error" kind of message. am led to think whether there is some global setting that these applications use, which doesn't allow them to access the internet settings somehow?I did a factory reset, I also used the Sony Ericsson update service and did an upgrade to Android 2.1...

Is there anyway I can change the log in address which my phone asks for when i attempt to log into adroid? I tried going to into all the settings I could get into on my phone to try and find something But im having no luck.
When I access Gmail using the preinstalled app key it only gives me limited functions. The screen only shows my inbox and the messages in it so I can only reply or forward sent messages. I cannot start a new message or access any other functions that are available to me if I access Gmail through the browser key.Has anyone else had this problem?

I've no problem connecting via USB.In 'Settings' -> 'Wireless & Network Settings' -> 'Bluetooth Settings' -> 'Bluetooth Devices' my laptop is visible, and underneath it says 'Pair with this device.When I press that I have a Bluetooth pairing request, which says 'To pair YOUR PC, confirm that it is showing the passkey: 123456' (number changes each time). I choose the 'Pair' option but keep getting back 'Attention - There was a problem pairing with YOUR PC because the pin or passkey is incorrect.' How do I enter this passkey? I get the feeling there's a simple solution to this that I'm missing. I've paired the phone with both the MBS 100 and 200 with no problems at all. The laptop is a Sony Vaio and bluetooth is definitely on - is there a compatibility issue between the two?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am facng problem with its bluetooth. It doesn't accept any file through bluetooth and says that the transfer is stopped by the user. I tried to transfer few ringtones from my other handsets to it (Nokia 6300 and Sony P990i) bt it rejected from both of them. Bluetooth in all sets was on. X10 was set on discoverable mode. I paired it with both the sets and it got paired but mentioned that "Paired but not connected". What may be the reason?
