I have a Sony xoeria z3 for 3 months now, and I started to get a problem at first of people couldnt hear me on the other end of the call. This used to happen at times first, butnow it is a permenant problem, I cn hear the caller but the caller cannot hear me.
Since i bought z2 every one complaing about my voice i have to speak on top of my voice for some one to here me on call is there solution or i selling my cell phone mic **bleep**.
My Xperia 8 phone does not have any ringing sound for incoming calls. I have gone to settings to check that the silent mode is off and the volume is put up to max. When someone tries to call me there is a symbol on the top right hand corner with a speaker X..
i hear some kind of sound during a call. It occurs only when I'm in 2g coverage. I found that there was no sound when i was in 3g coverage. The sound is like the 1 which we get when we take our phone near speaker or sub-woofer during a call in 2g coverage. sound occurs in few calls only.
At work I use headphones, and I want phone calls etc. to call with sound only in my headphones, and call silent when headphones are disconnected. As it is now it rings from the speakers of the phone, even if headphones are connected.
I have Android version 5.0. I have tried to use Smart connect but that doesn't work at all. For example I have set it up to start Spotify automatically when the headphones are plugged in, and also set the volume to normal, but when I plug in mye headphones nothing happens....
I just shifted from Samsung S4 to Sony Xperia Z2 supposing that Z2 has best feature as on date. It seems it's true till some extent however I am struggling with the call quality issue specially other party is not able to hear my voice clearly.
I tested it many times now it's very frustrating, everything is fine during usage of headphone but again same problem when I am taking calls directly from my cell.
I've changed my display a few days ago, obviously because it crashed after being dropped from ~30 centimeters. Everything seemed to work fine, the only problem was with the broken screen.
But today, during several phonecalls, I was told that they hear me sunk, like I was in a jar or something, and sometimes with few cracklings.
I'm playing Clash of Clans and I'm requesting some troops for war, rings-rings my phone ringing and It's an important call, I answer the call with this maizing blazzing phone! It's a phone and most important things is answering and calling not JUST a benchmark in antutu! So I'm answering the phone but I still hear sound of birds from Clash of Clans game in call.
My LG G3 has been acting up lately. I can't hear a thing through the earpiece when I'm making and receiving calls. Call quality is okay because I can hear clearly if I put it on speakerphone. I don't know if this is a software issue or hardware. I'm afraid that when my phone is heating, the earpiece is getting damaged or something.
I asked for an answer in one of the older threads a pretty long time, but didn't get a reply. I also searched through some other discussions, but couldn't find a definite solution. My problem is the infamous "echoing" during calls. Specifically, people who call me hear an echo during phone calls. Somebody told me that it almost sounds like they're on speaker phone. It's a real pain in the **bleep**, because things often have to be repeated a number of times in order for it to be understood. So have can I fix this? I'm using the 034.001 software version.
I bought a Bold 9790 one month back & I cannot hear any dialing sound or incoming sound from the other person. If it is in speaker mode I can hear everything.
Where do I find the option to make the phone sounds, phone call only.
BlackBerry, you press one button and BAM, done, android, it gives me the volume keys to change notifications, does this mean if I turn the phone notification volume up, im going to be spammed with beeps and pings from email and messaging?
my iphone 4s does not sound when i have an incoming call, there is no sound at all can somebody tell me what to do?is there a store in buenos aires that can manage this?
I purchased an iPhone 4S in October and loved it. Unfortunately, I had a persistent issue. Whoever is on the other side often reported hearing a loud chirping or screeching sound during calls. It happened frequently, too -- on about half the calls I made. Apple replaced the phone for me Tuesday, but the replacement model is doing the same thing. Is this a known issue?
I have an iPhone 4S.I treat it like gold as I do all my electronics.I recently updated to iPhone iOS 5.1.1 and a few days later I started experiencing problems on the phone of the iPhone; the call connects and I can hear therecipient but they cannot hear me not can I hear myself. I have tried restoring all my settings, refreshing the phone, and turning it off as well as switching the side button to ringer on (I read this in a forum and did it despite it seeming ridiculous). None of this helps me when I make calls.
I'm not getting any sound from my phone (other than the ring tone) when I make or receive a call unless I have the speaker activated. It's okay if I have the earpiece plugged in.
Just got a loan iphone 5 today while my Dad's phone has been sent for repair, it has sound on facetime but not on calls or skype. I have checked volume is on, cleaned the speakers and it isn't connected to anything. Is this a hardware fault or is there a way of fixing it?
Few days ago, I was driving, and I connected headphones to answer the call, but did not heard any sound. The problem was not in hardware of the headphones, because, the music and video player with connected headphones works fine, and I also can hear sounds wile typing on the phone, but when answer, headphones go mute, and mic is working fine. Before that, it was working fine.
This device is about 4 months old, for the last 3 days I can't hear anything when taking or making calls.it says connected and the person on the other side can hear me but I can't hear them unless I switch to speaker mode.
I've had my Blackberry for over six months, but I've always had a problem with the quality/clarity of the audio in incoming phone calls. It's very difficult to understand the person on the other end -- particularly, but not only, if the person has an accent of any sort. I want to use the Blackberry as my primary phone, but I can't "get" half of what my callers are saying to me.
For some reason whenever I set my phone to any sound setting with sounds (not silent/vibrate) my phone won't make any sounds when I receive messages or calls. I use Normal sound setting and I have everything set to specific sounds but when I click "Try it" it does everything I set except for make noise. Am I doing something wrong or is there something wrong with my phone or what?
I've noticed a few times recently when my phone is hot that if I make or receive a call there is no sound. My phone will ring if a call comes in but if I answer it, silence. If I try to make a call, the display shows it's connected and the call timer is ticking away, but I hear nothing, no ringing or voice. I've been told that the other person CAN hear me so I know the calls are connecting. Once the phone is cooler it works fine again. The overheating seems to happen in my car if the display has been on for a while with GPS and/or it's charging, and if it's a sunny day and the phone is getting some direct sunlight.
I have iphone4. All sounds are on and have worked fine until today. Now no sound with incoming calls, text, etc., although my alarm did sound this morning. I have tried turning them all off, turning phone off, then turning everything back on hoping it would reset itself. No luck.
For the last two days, I havent been able to make or receive calls because I either have no sound or static. I was chatting with AT&T online support and he tried resetting and other various options to fix it but finally advised me to take it in to a store and get a new sim card. I just did that and still, I do not have sound. I havent damaged my phone in any way, I havent dropped it or wet it....I checked to see if its still under warranty but of course, it expired. What are my options?
My iphone4 suddenly wont transmit sound in calls, i can hear the other caller but they cant hear me??? The voice memo still records and plays ok so its not the mic?
