View 1 RepliesAfter the most recent update my phone during calls the voice completely drops off. Sometimes it is 3 minutes in and sometimes it is less or more. The call will not drop but I cannot hear the other person and the other person cant hear me. Its like it is muting on its own. Has anyone else had this issue? What do you suppose I should do?

Is it purposely designed that Z3+ dual automatically drops data connection in calls? or it's just something wrong with my phone? For me it is necessary to go online while talking on the phone at the same time. I've tried to deactivate one of the SIM and the same problem persists.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased a Z3 Dual sim D6633 and around twice a day either when receiving or making a call the phone suddenly drops out during conversation and both network strength bars are showing no signal. a message briefly shows up saying no no network signal ( or something to that effect ) then dissappears. A few seconds later the signal comes back for both sims and all is ok again. Why this is happening but its becoming frustrating especially when I have to call clients back.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy wife and I bought a pair of RAZR M phones three days ago, and right from the beginning, soung quality was pretty poor. It doesn't seem to be a problem calling voicemail, I can hear the machine just fine, but on all voice calls, I sound very muffled, and have a hard time hearing the other person. I tried holding the phone in every conceivable way which made little difference. This is especially bad when my wife and I call each other. I went to the Verizon store (not where I bought it), and they denied there was any problem and sent me away. I am running Android Jellybean (4.1.1). On my old Sprint phone, this was never an issue, but background noise was horrible. With the RAZR M, there is no background noise, but no clarity either.

Lately when placing and receiving calls I cannot hear anything put dead air. No ring tone when calling out, or the voice of the caller when accepting a new call. To fix the issue I have pulled the battery. However, a few hours later the issue will start again.
where the sound/voice recorder in my xperia x10 is located? Is it simply the low front side where i speak when calling, or is there a separate microphone for recording audio?
View 3 Replies View RelatedAll of a sudden I cannot hear voices on incoming calls. I hear voices on outgoing calls perfectly fine. My phone did not fall or anything like that.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI purchased an Xperia Z3, love the device but experiencing a MAJOR issue with voice calls being distorted when connected to WIFI. The person on the other side of the call can hear me fine but the line on my side of the call is all distorted and garbled. If I switch off WIFI or disconnect from WIFI then the voice calls work perfectly fine. The issue only occurs when I'm connected to WiFi. There seems to be multiple reports of this issue on Whirlpool forums and mainly for Optus customers. My partner's Xperia Z3c is also having the same issue. I returned one Z3 due to this issue and was given a replacement but the issue still persists on the replacement...
View 10 Replies View RelatedMy Xperia 8 phone does not have any ringing sound for incoming calls. I have gone to settings to check that the silent mode is off and the volume is put up to max. When someone tries to call me there is a symbol on the top right hand corner with a speaker X..
View 7 Replies View Relatedi hear some kind of sound during a call. It occurs only when I'm in 2g coverage. I found that there was no sound when i was in 3g coverage. The sound is like the 1 which we get when we take our phone near speaker or sub-woofer during a call in 2g coverage. sound occurs in few calls only.

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy iphone 4 has been dropping calls from my office for the last 3 weeks. I have a signal booster and the signal always shows 4 or 5 bars, even when it drops the call. No one else has this issue and my provider has told me that both towers in the area are working good. When it drops the signal often i will hear a noise that sounds like the camera shutter (click) then it kicks me out to the lock screen.

Voice calls aren't clear and keep dropping on my mini pro.I don't think it's signal either. My phone shows full signal strength and I haven't had any issues with my sim card in other phones. The closest thing I've found that sound related is on this forum for the mini pro 2011. http://http://talk.sonyericsson.com/message/100711#100711ould it be electrostatic or something to do with the speaker picking up the antena signal?
View 2 Replies View RelatedAt work I use headphones, and I want phone calls etc. to call with sound only in my headphones, and call silent when headphones are disconnected. As it is now it rings from the speakers of the phone, even if headphones are connected.
I have Android version 5.0. I have tried to use Smart connect but that doesn't work at all. For example I have set it up to start Spotify automatically when the headphones are plugged in, and also set the volume to normal, but when I plug in mye headphones nothing happens....
Occasionally I'll have sound and I'm able to record sound on camera.. Sometimes
I've updated
I've factory reset
I've reset via Sim button
No dice
It was suggested to me to flash my rom via the development tool Sony offers but I do not wish to void my warranty.
I just shifted from Samsung S4 to Sony Xperia Z2 supposing that Z2 has best feature as on date. It seems it's true till some extent however I am struggling with the call quality issue specially other party is not able to hear my voice clearly.
I tested it many times now it's very frustrating, everything is fine during usage of headphone but again same problem when I am taking calls directly from my cell.
Finally got my new iPhone 4.First thing I noticed was that the signal dropped to nothing when I held it in my hand at the bottom of the phone .the same way I have always held an iPhone.Made a phone call yesterday and the call dropped when I accidentally moved my hand to the bottom.Do the bumpers actually solve this problem or is that a myth?

My iPhone 4S drops calls all the time. In fact, we have a half dozen of these at work that replaced BlackBerries. The other big complaint is terrible battery life. Is Apple working on a fix to these issues?

I am starting to get really annoyed with my phone, when I make voice calls I'm not able to lock the screen so that the touch screen is disabled?? and in doing so I either end up putting the call on mute, hold or even hang up!I have tried all I can think of, I have just updated my phone to the latest software 5 days ago and seemed ok for 2/3 days but now the darn bug is back. Is this a downside to the phone or am I doing something wrong?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSO EVERYONE CAN SHUT IT. Seriously guys chill the hell out. This happens to me on my LG EnV2 if I hold it the wrong way near the top of the phone. EVERY TIME. IT CAN HAPPEN WITH ANY PHONE ON ANY NETWORK.I mean it's just absurd what is going on here on these message boards.
View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen I make calls or am called, they frequently cut out for no reason. This might have already been discussed before but I would like to find out if something can be done about that.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIn recent days I've noticed a rather annoying quirk with the sound from my Photon. If I'm listening to music (Winamp, the stock app, or Pandora) and a notification pops up, I hear the notification sound but afterward the volume of my music drops down a lot. I'll turn the volume up, but as soon as the track changes my ears blow up when the volume level returns to what it was previously
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've changed my display a few days ago, obviously because it crashed after being dropped from ~30 centimeters. Everything seemed to work fine, the only problem was with the broken screen.
But today, during several phonecalls, I was told that they hear me sunk, like I was in a jar or something, and sometimes with few cracklings.
iPhone 4 consistently drops call when touching the lower left corner of the device. I did it four times on video, but could have done it all night. Hopefully this is just a lemon.
View 24 Replies View RelatedI have been pretty happy with my iPhone 4 up until today but I have discovered a bit of a problem. When I touch the bottom left of the phone the signal drops 1 - 2 bars.It has not been dropping calls but I dont think my phone should be doing this.
