If I press the headset button, a black screen pops up with the text "initializing" (except in Italian because that's the language I use), and nothing else happens. The voice command interface does not appear and it doesn't work at all. Tried clearing data and doing other basic things but the problem keeps happening. Not sure if it's a bug with the phone's software or with Google Search.

I have a problem with my new Z2: I was used to use the voice command from the bluetooth headset, a long press on the headset button start the sw, on the display I see the word "inizializzazione" (in italian: I suppose it should be "Initializing" in english) and in the headset I ear "Attendi" which in english should be "waiting" but nothing happen.

My Verizon Curve, 8330, has been going into a loop for the past two weeks with "Voice Dialing Initializing" showing up randomly.When I get out of it, it will soon pop up again.When this starts to happen, any outgoing calls I try to make will be instantly disconnected.The problem starts, sometimes, after receiveing a call--I can't hear the other party and then they can't hear me.When I hang up, the loop starts.I do have bluetooth on to automatically hook into my car when I am driving.I tried to fix the problem by upgrading the operating system from 4.5.77 to 4.5.175, but the problem is persisting. The button on the side is not set to activate voice dialing (I switched it shortly after I got the phone 18 months ago). Any suggestions would be appreciated--I do not want to have to remove VOD but if there is no other solution will have to. There is a discussion under the Pearl for this problem, but I do not see it discussed in the Curve area.

Anyhow, it seems that I can't use TTS(Text to Speech) at all, even with Voice Data installed. And, my device didn't come with the Voice Dialer or the Voice Search apps, and they never did pop up after the 2.1 Update.

Whenever I plug my headphones to listen to music, or plug my line-out cord so I can listen in my car, it always prompts me to 'say a command'. While a minor setback, I find it annoying since it's never what I use it for.Anyway, is there a way to turn it off, or set it to automatically play music when plugged in?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI got my Xperia Z2 today, and I found that teh Google Now voice option doesn"t work, It looks like it's recording, even when there's no sound at all. It completely ignores me when I speak. There is no relation to my speech and the red indicator flashing. Then it goes back to "Say "Ok Google" or tap mic". In fact other voice functions such as in the google play store, or google maps, or google voice typing don't work and exhibit the same bizarre behavior. Just to find out, I tried voice functions on a third party keyboard app (Swype) which doesn't seem to work too.
I have done a factory reset, updated to the latest firmware, updated the apps, but still the problem persists. I suspect the hardware is to blame, not the software.
After I upgraded my AT&T phone to 2.1, I lost my voice search button and cannot find a voice search app on my phone.
View 3 Replies View Relatedi recently updated my neo l to 4.1.b.0.626 and started getting this volume issue with headset. it is stuck at around 60%. increasing the volume using the settings menu briefly pops up a warning that says something similar to "high volume can damage ears" and vanishes before any action can be taken. using the volume rocker in application such as Internet causes the playback to stop. the volume itself is way too low to be practical even for someone with good hearing. no such issues without the headset. i am using the sony supplied headset. i have tried a factory reset and didn't work.

For some reason when using a Bluetooth headset (Used a Sony MW1 Smart Wireless Headset Pro, set and a Fiat Blue&Me Car Bluetooth) the sound keeps breaking off both for me and the person I’m calling. I get long brake after witch the sound returns for a while.

Tried reinserting the headphones and pulling out and still doesn't disappear. No sound will play through my speakers when the icon is there. The only way to turn it off it seems if when I restart the phone. It happens to this on different types of earphones too. I can't listen to music anymore without having to restart my phone afterwards

I asked the sales rep which one would work well with the iPhone, and he didn't seem to ahve any preference and said anything should work. Well, unfortunately, it doesn't work with the iPhone's voicedial. When you press the button on the headset, it doesn't do anything unless you're answering a call. I've had the c139 for about three years and an very happy with it. However, it's developed a problem I cannot seem to undo. On the home screen, there is a headset icon, and next to it on the right is a phone with a 1. I do not have a headset. Never used a headset. Never set up the phone for speed dialing. Very basic pay-as-you-go use: call - receive - textSince it started displaying these icons, I cannot hear anyone when they call in. The buttons no longer beep when I press them. I cannot hear to call out. However, the text works just fine. This is what I've done to try to fix it:Settings>other settings>headset>auto answer (no other option)>off
