Feb 21, 2015I just unlocked the bootloader of my phone by following sony delevoper world instructions. Although I wasn't made aware of it all my data was lost.

Xperia X10 :: After Updates The Phone Gets Back To Reset
Nov 10, 2010I start going through the update. I do a backup of everything I have and open the PC Companion, then do the update. It downloads and installs the update, then tells me to turn on my phone.when I turn it back on, it's the same thing.

Oct 19, 2011Since the Market App was updated to ver. 3.1.5 on my htc Desire, that when I get a new message in the notification area that there are updates for any of my20 Apps and clicking on updates it goes straight into My apps but no updates are showing only installed apps so don't know what apps need to be updated, or if already updated it does not say what app was updated.On clicking on all my apps there is no ticks in any of the Automatic Update boxes! Before the update to ver. 3.1.5 you could see what apps needed to be updated and why and had a choice if you wanted it updated or not

Feb 20, 2015I've only just noticed this today but a part of my screen doesn't respond to my touch.  Weird as it's only in a specific area, just to the right of the centre through to the top of the screen.  The rest of the touchscreen works perfectly fine.  I've ran the touchscreen test via diagnostics and the line I draw breaks whenever I go through that area of the screen. This is getting annoying as I've just sent it off for repairs 3 weeks ago for a faulty headphone jack.Â

So the weirdest thing is when I try to search for available updates, It would start a search but then stop. No window prompt saying whether there's a new update or no update available.
I tried clearing the cache partition, resetting the phone. But no luck. It'll just search and then stop.

I click on the "upgrade" button, it says please wait, then nothing. It does the same for the app world update. I've spoken to my carrier and they say it's something on rim's side that they can't fix. Dec 4, 2011I did the update to 4.0.2.A.0.42 yesterday, not sure what I was on before.I am now having gps issues, I get an inital fix OK but I am not getting continuas updates.It's not a bug in my IpBike App I am seeing the same behaivure with the standard google maps app and a couple of other apps I have tried.I have also checked my app on an old X8 and it's working ok there still.I have done a restart of the phone but that made no difference.The GPS itself is working OK, if I start and stop the mapping apps they get a good quick inital fix but they don't contunue to get updates.Looking in the Logcat there is nothing obviously wrong.Is there any way of going back to the previous software version?

If I uninstall updates from certain applications, I can get my phone's available space up to the limit that will allow me to actually USE my phone. But lately, lots of application updates are being pushed out, and many of these are on apps that I can't delete but don't use. These updates take up so much space that I continually get the Low on space message, and then I can't get emails, etc.--which is my primary purpose for having this phone.
Isn't there a way for me to turn off automatic updates so that apps only update upon my initiation?

Jul 23, 2010why does W395 has no software supports? The phone is really slow,and most of the jar(*.jar)files doesn't support the phone. The phone doesn't support multi tasking either,i tried call recording and got this message that it doesn't support multitasking.
The phone is cute and all but with no software support and being really slow,its a real pain. I hope sony ericsson team comes up with a software update for this model. An error message then comes up saying that there was problems with the internet (despite me being on broadband) and using the internet at the same time. Firewalls are all ok and all working.
