Xperia X10 :: Sony Arc Facebook Notification Updates?
Jun 26, 2011i have a problem with my arc handset. me and my girlfriend both have the arc with andriod 2.3.3. the problem is if someone writes on my partners wall on facebook she recieves a notification on the notification bar on the top of the phone, however mine does not. ive reinstalled facebook app on the phone and even reinstalled the whole phone from scratch. ive gone through all settings to make sure there all the same and im at my wites end.

Jul 23, 2010why does W395 has no software supports? The phone is really slow,and most of the jar(*.jar)files doesn't support the phone. The phone doesn't support multi tasking either,i tried call recording and got this message that it doesn't support multitasking.
The phone is cute and all but with no software support and being really slow,its a real pain. I hope sony ericsson team comes up with a software update for this model. I'm really looking forward to it. The phone also supports motion gaming and it would be nice if the site provided some games supporting this feature.
Sony Ericsson :: W995 - Audio And Software Updates Keep Failing
Oct 7, 2010On my W995 my alarm, music and video files make no sound & I have no ringtone or message alert sound. Music files sometimes say they're playing but with no sound and other times say they're failed. The speakers are working when I'm on the phone to someone and the radio will play. The alarm is from phone memory and other bits from memory card. I've tried all the usual turn it on & off, battery, memory card etc in and out. Have reset to factory settings & been through every option in the phone but can't find anything to help. I have been trying to update the software but I have tried three times and each time it fails but won't say why. I don't know if this would even solve the audio problem!

Mar 7, 2010So, I saved up some cash, and am selling some stuff to get about 300-350 pounds budget for a new phone. I'm very tempted to get the N97 mini. It has good audio quality (gsmarena tests) pretty decent pictures, WiFi, GPS, qwerty keyboard and a nice screen. What does SE have to offer that will give me good music, photos and connectivity? WiFi is pretty important and a qwerty keyboard is a big plus. Another thing that stops me from spending so much money on a brand new SE is their lack of updates when it comes to fixing bugs and adding features.
I still see Nokia pumping out N95 firmwares that get new features and fixes. The SE phones I owned could've got new features but SE never bothered. Take smile shutter on the C510 for example, they could've and in my opinion should have also made an update to include the feature in it's bigger sister the C702. But they didn't. I don't want to spend 300 pounds on a device that will not receive updates and features after 6-12months.

Videos Emailed Won't Play On IPhone 5
Aug 23, 2014Normally when someone sends me a message with a short video attached to it, I could play in on my iPhone 5.(iOS 7.1.2) Now when I start to play one, I get the play arrow icon with a line across it, which signifies that it's not going to play the video.

Oct 13, 2010When I try and upload a picture to FB or when I try and email a picture it is all pixeled. The picture is fine on the phone and can be BBMd without any distortion but is very poor quality when emailed or uploaded.

Jun 24, 2010Has anyone else noticed that when you email a photo that is oriented as portrait, it appears as landscape in the email? For some reason, ios4 automatically positions photos to be viewed as landscape. When the email is checked on the phone, the orientation is correct. But when the email is viewed on a computer, it appears sideways.I've searched forums for the past hour or so and only found this mentioned in 1 other place.

Motorola Droid Razr HD :: Pictures Rotate From Portrait To Landscape When Emailed
Dec 4, 2012I have discovered that all of the pictures that I take in portrait orientation once emailed to someone they are switched to landscape. The pictures can not be rotated back to the proper orientation with out opening Paint program and rotating them manually. I take hundreds and thousands of pics of my life (kids, vacations etc..) and do not want to have to manipulate them later on once moved to my computer. If you lower the picture quality to 6mp it fixes the problem, also if you shoot the pic in HDR mode. I should not have to do this to make it work. Fail.
