Normally when someone sends me a message with a short video attached to it, I could play in on my iPhone 5.(iOS 7.1.2) Now when I start to play one, I get the play arrow icon with a line across it, which signifies that it's not going to play the video.
Has anyone else noticed that when you email a photo that is oriented as portrait, it appears as landscape in the email? For some reason, ios4 automatically positions photos to be viewed as landscape. When the email is checked on the phone, the orientation is correct. But when the email is viewed on a computer, it appears sideways.I've searched forums for the past hour or so and only found this mentioned in 1 other place.
How can I save a video attachment to my camera roll in iPhone 4? (Have not downloaded newest update 5.1.1 yet.) When I press and hold down on the video I get 3 options: Quick Look, Open in "Polkast", and Open In. None of these options allow me to save the video to my camera roll.
Always the pictures download upside down whenever it's emailed. In my camera roll they are straight or right side up and also it's right side up in another iOS device but when I download it from my pc it's always sideways or upside down.
When I record video on my iphone and import to Aperture it plays fine. When I convert the .mov file to mp4 via various convertors, the video always plays updide down?
My s6 won't fully download emails with pdf file att. I've hit the load more button but when you try to open it comes up with warning email must be fully downloaded before att can be read .the emails can be read from my pc? ?
Since I upgrade my iPhone 5s to iOS 8.1.x, I started noticing some issues. While playing any game, screen will tilt unexpectedly. Similarly, during chatting or checking some Apps, screen turns upside down. Even the camera takes pictures upside down.
When I try and upload a picture to FB or when I try and email a picture it is all pixeled. The picture is fine on the phone and can be BBMd without any distortion but is very poor quality when emailed or uploaded.
I'm coming from an iphone and wanted to know when someone emails me a video, is there a way to watch it without having to download to the SD Card? Also if it does have to be downloaded to the SD card, where in the world do you access it?
How can I save them to my phone? When I download them, I think they launch in the Gallery app. However when I go back to the Gallery app, the pictures are gone.
Someonetold me to long press on the picture to save. However the icons just flash for a milli-second then disappear.
I have discovered that all of the pictures that I take in portrait orientation once emailed to someone they are switched to landscape. The pictures can not be rotated back to the proper orientation with out opening Paint program and rotating them manually. I take hundreds and thousands of pics of my life (kids, vacations etc..) and do not want to have to manipulate them later on once moved to my computer. If you lower the picture quality to 6mp it fixes the problem, also if you shoot the pic in HDR mode. I should not have to do this to make it work. Fail.
So I finally set up my photo stream. For about 24 hours it was working. Now when I take a picture it does not save to the photo stream album on my phone. It says that the Photo Stream is ON but it doesnt seem to be working.
It seems most if not all of the pictures I take with my phone and then send using MMS or e-mail are received by recipients upside down. But when I send them they appear right side up. Is it the direction I'm holding the phone when I take the pictures? Do the control buttons on the phone have to be in one particular direction?
I recently flashed back to n0t3 rom, and now my s6 is totally crazy. When I want to open WhatsApp on the left side on the App Bar, the phone open Facebook on the right side.
That means, if I press an App which is on the left side, a App opens that is on the right side. I have done already an wipe, but problem is still there...
I've had my phone since May with no issues. As of a few days ago, my camera app launches upside down. All the icons are upside down and if I take a photo it comes out upside down. If I turn the phone upside down, the app will flip right side up. I can then flip it back and its fine.
Also, if I'm reading something in chrome and it flips to horizontal mode it won't flip back to vertical. The same trick of flipping upside down works or I have to close and reopen the app.
I have restarted and checked the auto rotate setting. I have not tried factory reset yet but may try that. I have a Verizon phone so I can't get to the gyro calibration screen. Any other way to force a calibration?
I just moved from a nexus 5 the S5 and when I plug it in to my PC all the photos are upside down or sideways depending on which way I was holding the phone when I took them. Same with the videos.
Is this normal on a the S5, do i have to get used to this?
The nexus 5 doesn't have this issue, nor did the Samsung Galaxy Nexus before it!
I have a motorola i1 and use it for work. There are times when I need to take a picture and send it out through email, however upon opening the camera today I find that the view finder and the pictures it takes are upside down. All menus and overlays are in their correct position and right side up. I can't find any settings that would reverse this effect, and what's more is I don't really see that much about it on the web. This is a new problem that I've only just encounted, the phone was not always like this. I really don't want to go back to the sprint store again.
