Ok, to try and clarify...I have had all of the Samsung Galaxy S phones except the S5. I've moved all my photos & screen shots from them to my pc over time, generally via Kies or usb transfer. I've noticed that I have now got a huge number of .png files dated from about 2012 onwards that I can't open. Previous png files can be opened-they appear to be screenshots or the like. So I don't know what has happened. They can't be opened using any of the options on my pc. (I recently changed to Windows 10 from 8, but it was doing this prior to that) I can't re save them because they can't be opened, nor does changing the file name allow them to be opened.
I've also noticed that my current S6 makes all my screenshots .png files as well. The only way around this at the moment is to upload them to Google drive and change it to a jpeg file at the time. I have to do this for each shot one at a time. I'm assuming I can then move these across from Google drive as jpeg.
So, I need to know how to change the default on my S6 from .png to .jpeg for screen shots. How to change my previous .png files back to jpeg so I can open them! I have copied all of them to a usb stick and tried to open them on my work computer, but that also won't open them under any program. I realise that isn't an Android issue in itself, but as all of these images have come from my Galaxy S phones originally, I don't want to delete them without being able to see them as I might want to keep them...but without knowing what they are...
Have installed pdf reader app as well I have changed setting to no limit download size and auto download as previously suggested. I end up always getting file size 0 or incompatible file message.

I wonder if anyone here knows how to load standard subtitles files (.srt) while playing video files (like .avi) on my SGS2. There's an idle "Subtitles" button on the bottom right of the player's menu, which I hadn't been able to use. Should I try a different one from the Android market?
I'm trying to open zip compressed file on my BB Bold and it says: Unable to display file //media card/IM_Main-40.zip Thx for any inputs and I'm a newbie to BB, so forgive for simple questions.

Through UC Browser it says its downloaded but seems to only let me stream it. I want to download a song and add it to my music library, is that even possible
after upgrading to Belle, I also upgraded to quickoffice premium so that I could spell check documents. Now I can't open word documents. I can create new ones and then can't open these either. Is it Bell or the quickoffice upgrade?
I am a new user and have just bought a BB Curve 8520. Carrier is Virgin Media; OS is V4.6.1.314 (platform 4.2.0.135); Desktop Manager Version is 5.0.1.2.8 I have transferred photos, music and some documents from my PC successfully to my BB using Desktop Manager. However some .doc files transfer, but I cannot open them on the BB. I get an error message saying a file cannot be opened as it is an RTF file. I also notice that when I start to transfer the files, the little window that pops up does not give me the option to convert them - it is grayed out. Help please - I am totally new to Blackberry and not a whiz!
After downloading the pdf files from internet/mail it shows in the file explorer, but when try to open it, the app pickup list only showing Project Spartan. Nothing else, no Adobe Reader nor PDF reader. I installed another PDF file reader app call Xodo, still no luck.
I'm trying to update my apps but when I go to do this I get a message saying too many files to open. I've deleted a few apps but even when I'm only trying to update just one I still get the message.
