Oct 24, 2010check internet usage? I'm with Orange on a monthly contract, think my allowance is 500GB a month?Is there a way to check usage as going along, dont fancy getting a bill at the end of the month which is huge! Say I use the internet (google, Facebook etc etc) one hour a day, is that a reasonable amount to be within the 500GB limit?Any information/advice on checking or assessing usage would be great?? So that I dont get a huge surprise when the monthly bill comes through.

Jul 11, 2011In august I bought the new Bold 9900, and suddenly my internet usage went up from 80Mb in a month to 80Mb in a week. I don't use my phone in a different way (no new apps,..) and I still use internet as I did before.
what I should do with this? My provider has a 200Mb limit..

Mar 28, 2012Is there a way to delete the diagnostics and usage data from the iPhone 4S? If so, I don't see it. Seems to me that if these diagnostics and crash logs just continue loading without being deleted, they'd eventually eat up memory? I have it set to NOT automatically send to Apple, since that probably uses up more battery power. Even after sync the iPhone with the iTunes, the logs are still there!

Feb 9, 2010Recently upgraded phone software and maps - everything works fine except when activating Ovi Maps at which point I'm prompted to 'Go online' which when prompted, the phone confirms no internet connection - tools online - and I get the message on screen Internet Usage disabled.Everything else installed on the phone works fine - including all the internet related software, email , facebook etc.Appreciate that others may be having same problem as we carried out same upgrades on second phone in the house last night and Same problem

Nokia Nseries :: Symbian Internet Radio And C: Memory Usage?
Feb 25, 2012I have Nokia 500 Belle. Listening to built in internet radio fills phone's C: memory with no apparent reason (No any messages, no email, no installed apps, to prevent stamp answers that suggest to remove apps and messages). After about 10-15 minutes browsing and listening stations memory is decreased by about 10 MB's. I used X-plore to see, what can i do and what to delete but there's nothing to delete. Probably the Private or Sys folders are filled with some kind of junk but obviously there is no access to these... I had about 130 MB free on C: and after using Internet radio it was decreased to below 120 MB. I did very little listening next day and after that memory was left to 114 MB. What if it will eventually fill completely? It was a problem on Nokia E52 and Nokia 500 Anna.
Internet is full of complaints about Nokia phones memory usage. But no any reasonable solution. All what i can find are typical stamp answers that suggests to remove apps and messages and so on... Few months ago my E52 ran out of memory, though i hadn't installed any apps on C: and all messages were also on memory card. Even deleting browser cache (using x-plore) did not help.

Apr 7, 2010This is my first post to this forum and i am really hoping for some help. I have a Nokia 5800 Xpress Music Phone. It is about 7 months old and has developed a really annoying and frustrating fault over the past few days - progressively no getting worse by the hour it would seem. The phone freezes after receiving a text, phone call, internet usage or just generally pressing one of the function buttons. Some times if you wait long enough it does free itself but more often than not it will end up me removing the battery to reset the handset. Nothing appears to work properly on it anymore - the battery appears to drain within hours of charge. Really fed up with it now. Carphone Warehouse and Orange are blamming each other ( no change there). Yes i can take it to a repair centre who will either do it on site ro send away. I have completed a soft reset but has made no difference. I am now tempted to do a complete hard reset once backing up my contents etc

My husband's phone however will count on the phones data usage 20mb over night while it is charging and on our wifi. it is counting this towards his 3g usage and not wifi. We have already had APPLE reset everything at the store. it is still doing it. so he has to turn off all cellualar data usage at night or it keeps racking up the usage even though it is on our wifi. I plug my phone in at night as well and mine is not doing this

Aug 28, 2015I've had my Z3+ for a week now and Clean Master App has now three times warned me of "little RAM left". I had the Z3 for a little over 4 months and never got this message. The phone works OK, it does not slow down or anything. I may have had 5-6 apps open (Phone, Messages, Chrome, Mail, Facebook, Messenger)Â - nothing unusual, when i got the messages. Clean Master then proceeds to clean a couple of hundred MB (not much).

May 19, 2012I recently got the Xperia Mini Pro and last week, I noticed my data usage (according to Data Monitor) had gone up from 23mb to 60mb while I wasn't even using the phone. It happened again this week, going from 70mbish to 100mb. I phoned my t-mobile who told me my allowance is actually 250mb (Thank God!) but they don't know the reason why my data usage is jumping up like that. So they reffered me to Sony Mobile's support team who I haven't phoned yet.since I wanted to try the forums.
I have background traffic turned off and everytime I lock my phone, Data traffic is turned off by Juice Defender...so I don't get how this is happening? Could there be an application using the internet at such huge amounts? (all I use is Whatsapp)Or is Data Monitor not accurate?

As it didn't work after installation I decided to remove it.After removing it also, I see that it has not deleted Call mailbox setting that it created while installing. If I go to Settings > Calling > Call Mailbox I see account listing with , but there is no option to remove it. In the options I only see "Call internet call mailbox".How does one get rid of this please. (as this causes extra tab to be appearing in my contacts)
