Oct 27, 2010Everything on ymy phone turned japanese today - keyboard texts mails etc - sorted now but have lost all my contacts - can i retrieve them??

Feb 26, 2012I have a Xperia pro (MK16a) So when you're entering text, if you hold down on the screen, you have the option to choose Japanese input and Chinese input. And when you choose Japanese input, you can also open up the setting menu, and inside the menu there are options for physical keyboard, and vitural keyboard. Although Chinese input does not have those settings, but surprisingly I CAN use Chinese input with my physical slide out keybaord. BUT, it is NOT the case with Japanese input. Please give me some guidence on how this works, is it a BUG or something? Because clearly it SUPPOSE to have the option to use my slideout keyboard for Japanese input.

May 1, 2010I upgraded from my Bold 9000 to the Bold 9700 and now Japanese Input is not working anymore. I installed several eastAsia packages from different providers and its possible to read Japanese but when I am trying to choose Japanese as input language on my 9700 its switching back to the language before. korean and thai are working without any problem.
It seems to be that this problem only occures on Blackberry's with a QWERTZ keyboard. We tested it from several carrier (O2 Germany, O2 Szech and T-Mobile Germany [all have QWERTZ keyboard]).
Currently installed OS: v5.0.0.593 (Bundle 1022, Platform 5.1.0.147)

May 3, 2012I have a iphone 4s and after i got it about 3 days later i started being pestered with spam calls, texts and voicemails i dont know what to do as its getting a bit of an irratent. I've never given my details away and on the text messages im being called by different names as if somone signed my number up to places under false names? but i wanna know how to stop, im being called in lessons which then leads to a voicemail and text so anyway to stop this? (numbers seem to be different and it happens around 5-15 times a day)

Apr 11, 2015Like a lot of people, I prefer the Google keyboard over the Samsung one. Annoyingly, an icon appears in the notification bar whenever the Google keyboard is summoned. One way to get rid of this icon is to disable all other keyboards under Language and input -> Default keyboard -> Set up input methods. Unfortunately I've noticed that the Samsung keyboard keeps turning back on all the time.

Aug 18, 2011I've seen a couple comments here and there re: the Phonton keyboard being "difficult", and I think those comments are completely warranted when you consider the settings Motorola / Sprint use as the phone ships. They ship it with Auto correct OFF! I came to this phone after 4+ years of blackberrying. I knew the soft keyboard was going to be an adjustment, but with the Photon it was REALLY bad out of the gate. I'd type something, see that I miss-typed it, then I'd have to select the correct word out of the list above the keyboard (assuming it had some idea of what I was after). Very tedious... So I went poking around in the settings and saw they had a auto-correct setting and it was turned OFF!

The embedded email app are deleting mails on my mail server, when I delete them in my phone. I am used to have a copy left on the mail server to be fetched when coming back to the office. I do not find any options in my x8 so I have a copy left on my server.

Aug 1, 2011couple of weeks agao the stupid thing switched itself onto flight mode i did a seus update all has been fine untill yesterday the battery was charge but it turned itself off anyway and now it wont come back on all im getting is a red flashing light!
Iv'e tried everything i took the battery out for an hour put it back in tried to charge it left it on charge for a couple of hours nothing.Iv'e tried to re-update it but it wont recgonise being plugged in to the computer.
