I have the following problem: network reception has disappeared completely on my SE Xperia X 10 mini. So I can't call or receove calls. I tried other sim cards, it doesn't receive too. The problem is in phone. I didn't drop the phone, network reception has just disappeared during the night. I can't even find where its antenna is located.
View 2 RepliesIt has very poor signal reception among all phone I've ever used. I can never get full bar for wcdma, even in gsm only, the signal bar could drop to zero. Do not say it's a simcard or network provider problem because I had try everything like put my sim card in other phone, try another simc ard in my phone. I even make a comparison with xperia play and the xplay does not have this problem. Today I'm updating my phone with the latest update from pc companion, it still did not solve the problem..

View 4 Replies View Relatedi was facing some problems with the network Reception of the phone. i tried to contact the nearest BB service centre but they refused to repair it, reason being the phone is from England(UK) and not INDIA instead ( p.s.i got this phone as a gift from a friend of mine who resides in England). Now, i fail to understand, why the service centre people are not taking my phone and if at all somebody has a phone from some other country how is he going to get it repaired.

View 8 Replies View RelatedUpgraded to 5.1 firmware recently on my iphone4 connected to three network. Had message regarding 'upgrade carrier setting'. Since then network reception very poor. 1 or 2 bars at most and other times 'no signal'. Interestingly wife's iPhone4 on same network but firmware 5.0.1 showing 4-5 bars when phones next to each other? firmware 5.1 issue. Anyone else have similar issues? Tried removing sim, reboot but still same problem. Not sure how to get new carrier settings. Reset network on iphone but no luck.

ALL TEXT MESSAGES (SMS) ARE GONE!
My husband is software developper. He says messages are probably lost forever!
Is there any application in development - for Android - that would be able to scan for deleted conversations or files and get data back from them

Interestingly there is about a 5 second window right after I turn on/off Airplane mode I can send/receive SMS and make a phonecall - the phonecall will last as long as I want, but when I hang up I'm back to square one!I have no data connectivity I can connect to WiFi etc.I have full reception i.e. full bars My phone is not blacklisted (I checked IMEI with network operator)Other SIM card won't work on my phone My SIM card works on another phone When I go into settings to select mobile network I am 'Unable to connect. I was having problems with my x10 mini pro over the weekend when sending texts, it was being really slow and kept saying there was a problem with the messaging application and asked me if i wanted to "force a close" or "wait". I chose wait everytime and everything seemed ok, except for being really really slow. Today I got the same message when sending a text, but it didnt give me the option to "wait" and I had to press "force close". Well, it then showed me as having NO text messages in my history....I have lost them all. I went in the Vodofone shop and he said they are gone for good....does anyone know anyway I can get them back? Some of them are really special to me and I hate the thought of losing them all like that with no warning

I had(hopefully still have somewhere) a lot of important information stored there. This topic has already been issued at this as well as other forums, without any reasonable solution. My notes were stored in Notes which is an original feature of the phones software. Is it really impossible to retrieve them anyhow? Aren't there a way to wind time backwards and undo the upgrade? Where and in which format Notes files information is stored? Are they saved at the SD card?
View 6 Replies View RelatedXperia mini pro has this cool animation when you press the switch off button...it turns the screen off (puts it in stand by) by closing the screen to the middle with a little white flash. I recently noticed that it is gone, it does not appear any more when I turn my screen off. I have tried changing the animation settings under "display" category but nothing happens.

I use telkomsel as the telco provideri update around December 2011 (?) to 4.0.2.A.0.58.In February this year or close to that, there is a permanent notification to update the FW to x.x.062. because i don't have time yet, I just let it stay that way. end february I went to US and will stay here in US until next april.for cost reason in US I used AT&T.after using AT&T for awhile, i just realized that the update notification is gone, i try to check trough setting> about phone> software update.and it say my phone is up to date. my guess is the x.x.062 is not yet approved by AT&T or something like that.my question is this: "will the notification update show up again when I'm back in Indonesia and switch the SIM card to my previous telco provider; Telkomsel?i'm only interested to update the phone back in Indonesia, just to make sure i'm not messing with anything.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am with Virgin Mobile UK and have a Blackberry Curve 9300 I noticed this issue today, all I remember is yesterday installing the newest version of twitter and it rebooting the device. The blackberry messenger icon is missing and the shortcut key on the side was set to BBM, though now it says it isn't set to anything. A contact sent me a messege on bbm but I didn't recieve it even though it came up as delivered. They even pinged me, no vibration no anything! Though when they sent me a PIN it worked.. Though when looking at the applications in the setting menu BBM is still there and when trying to install BBM again, it asked me to replace 5.0 with the newer version. I pressed yes but everytime the device fails to download the newer version of BBM halfway through. I restarted twice and did a dry battery pull and the issue still isn't resolved

I had faced this issue when i last updated my phone when the 2.1 had come out.. I installed the latest Backup and Restore application as recomended by the SE update site.. Then backed up my files onto an already existing backup (which i think has corrupted the backup), hence overwriting the file.. After that i upgraded to 2.1 and restored my files, which failed because the contacts were not successfully imported (even though the Backup and Restore app said that the import was succesful.)
i was asked to repair the firmware using PC companion and hence want to backup succesfully without any problems. I cant risk loosing my contacts again. And i want to know from others in this forum if they have faced this issue on normal backup (not overwritten on an existing backup). [URL]
