can someone help me please? I've tried everything, even tried re downloading it, when doing that, it shows no items found!is there a possible way to get it back? since I used it a lot, and now it doesn't even show up!
View 4 RepliesI am with Virgin Mobile UK and have a Blackberry Curve 9300 I noticed this issue today, all I remember is yesterday installing the newest version of twitter and it rebooting the device. The blackberry messenger icon is missing and the shortcut key on the side was set to BBM, though now it says it isn't set to anything. A contact sent me a messege on bbm but I didn't recieve it even though it came up as delivered. They even pinged me, no vibration no anything! Though when they sent me a PIN it worked.. Though when looking at the applications in the setting menu BBM is still there and when trying to install BBM again, it asked me to replace 5.0 with the newer version. I pressed yes but everytime the device fails to download the newer version of BBM halfway through. I restarted twice and did a dry battery pull and the issue still isn't resolved

I've rebooted the device, and even deleted the TouchWiz cache and data, but it didn't work.
I have the 920F model and activated it with a UK sim a few months ago.. Have been using a US sim for the past 2 weeks, but today I went into an area with no service for a bit. Went back into an area with service and suddenly it says 'Not registered on network' when I go to make a call and 'No SIM card'.
I have gone into flight mode, cleaned and checked SIM (not a problem with the card), and then when I went to check the APN settings I noticed there was no way to get into my 'Mobile Network' settings! Its just gone!
Is it possible that it has reverted back to the European region lock and is awaiting a European SIM to be inserted before I can re-insert my US?
If it is a region lock, is there anyway to unlock it without using a European SIM as I no longer have mine and dont have quick access to one either.
I've tried to edit the upper quick access panel, search for it everywhere. The mobile data button just disappeared. There is a possible glitch with the software update but I didn't have any recently.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI extracted the MMS folder from my EnV2 using bitpim to try and look at my picture messages. My EnV2 is snapped in half and it is impossible to see the pictures. All I want is the pictures. I have searched around a lot and it seems like the only way to do this is to send the .PDU files (MMS messages) to my new phone using the computer (I have reoccuringly seen programs like MMS Toolkit). Can anyone help me with this or point me in the right direction? My new phone is the Moto Droid and my carriers were and are Verizon.
View 1 Replies View RelatedOne of my kids accidentally erased a ton o'data from my LG LX-9100.I use Bitpim and I understand the filesystem, but I do not know how it manages deleted files - is it similar to a Windows/DOS filesystem where deleted files don't actually get removed but have index/pointer access changes, leaving the file hidden on the 'drive'? My backup is too old (yep - yay for me ) so I'm looking for any advice on how the data source is managed. I'd love to get some pics back and some old texts.

My service provider is Verizon, but I don't have any kind of warranty or anything special left on it. I am able to access my phone with bitpim but I can only recover SMS and saved pictures. Does anybody know how I can recover picture messages, preferably without having the Verizon guy go through my phone. But if that is the only option than I am find as long as I have the messages in the end.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've got a VX 9100, and I'm trying to transfer a bunch of mp3s to my phone via card. It is a new 4 gb card. I formatted it, and then I drag-and-dropped a bunch (just over 500) of mp3s onto the card. I put the card into the phone, and it finds many of the mp3s, but not all of them. Moreover, it seems to lose more and more of the mp3s the further into the album list it goes.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong? The files do appear to be on the memory card.Are there hard-wired limits to the number of songs on an album? The number of songs on a card?Also, there's not by any chance any third-party or replacement mp3 players for the VX9100 are there? I'd like to be able to resume playing where I was, and as best I can tell, this phone doesn't do that generally (though it may do it when you get interrupted by phone call).
My gf's Keybo bit the dust. The main display (inside) doesn't work anymore, but everything else does.Can anyone guide me how to wipe the phone without being able to see the main screen? Would like to sell it for parts on eBay.The outside display works but that doesn't have all the menu options.

View 7 Replies View RelatedThe browser on my Nokia 701 is great -certainly much better than past versions- but websites 'see' it as a full size browser and so deliver it full size web pages. I have found this leads to much dragging and zooming. If the site also has pop-ups (which can fully obscure the screen!) this can lead to misclicks, impossible to navigate sites etc. Also full size webpages are slow to load and more expensive on data.
This issue has led me to either manually navigating to the mobile versions of the websites I like (bit of a pain) or to simply use the Opera Mini browser instead. The Opera browser is free and websites 'recognise' it as a mobile browser. This means without any work when I surf I instantly get the mobile version of the website I want (assuming one exists), easy to navigate and fast (and so cheaper) to load. In many cases this works much better for me.
So I think Nokia have missed a trick here. Maybe they should offer a feature whereby the user can tell their browser to find either mobile-friendly pages or normal ones. They could even add in a second browser shortcut, one which launches the Nokia browser in a 'mobile' mode.
Now running a 701, beautiful phone to handle and use...now that it has stopped sending my personal information to Nokia via 360Panel [rolls eyes]
